People get hacked everyday...the admins do nothing

I thought they had a report line, then tracked the trades etc.

The admins suck man! My friend got hacked this past week... and they havent said a damn word to him... they don't do s**t... it's like tatle telling... nothing good comes of it stare

Don't you know how big this place is? They get hundreds of complaints everyday. I wrote in a complaint once when they tried to charge me tax on a donation. It took them 2 weeks to get back to me, but when they did they made it right.

Ever hear of this thing called patience? Did you not realize that you aren't the only person on Gaia? There's hundreds of millions of posts and hundreds of thousands of members and there are thousands of hackers and hundreds of gigabytes of data and code and all that good stuff that makes a humongous site such as Gaia run smoothly and just one error in a code can make the entire thing come crashing down and grind to half. There just aren't enough moderators to keep up on every single report and glitch.
Btw, was there ever a report filed? Because they generally don't do anything if there isn't a report filed since they're not telepathic and they don't know absolutely everything.

I never got hacked before, so what is it like can u use your account at all or is it gone for good?

At best you'll be robbed blind of your rarest items but at worse they could also get your account banned or simply change your password, thus keeping it around as their own mule. I hear the admins can help if you report it fast enough but there's no guarantee. At times they'll try & recover your gear but I've heard cases where they don't do anything.

You are right. The admins do nothing. Moderators are the one that deal with hacking issues. And did you all fill hacking reports and actually wait? It could take a few months before the moderators can sort everything. If they returned the items the moment they got the reports, then those who have done nothing wrong would be falsely accused of hacking and lose their items.
Please, before you diss someone, put yourself in their shoes. It's hard running a site with over a million members and a billion posts. If you don't like it, then leave.
