where I was when JFK was shot... Okay, no I don't. I wasn't even born then. But I still have a bunch of fun memories to share.
Like the time Yitzy-chan managed to saw two pieces of wood together. He starts sawing at one piece of wood on top of another piece of wood, and before anyone realizes what's happening, the two pieces are attached.
Or the time when Yitzy-chan and Vlad tried to teach Kitty-chan calculus. Picture a very small, demure girl with glasses, the perfect vision of the shy, quiet introvert, being passed back and forth between two tall, sinister, very sketchy looking boys who tower over her and keep giving her dark, knowing smirks while playing good calc/bad calc. She ended up curled up in a fetal ball whimpering.
And where was I during these two incidents? Sitting back and making unhelpful comments, of course.
So, do you have any fond/interesting/striking memories?

Ummm....
I remember I was at school during the Twin Tower attacks in the U.S.A. on Sept. 11.
I was at school, a weird boy said that if I had relatives in NY, then they'd be dead.
I remember thinking, "All right, he's weird!"
Then, I got home and saw them playing the video over and over again. Maybe he wasn't AS weird as I thought... Still weird though!

I found out about it in the car with a friend a couple minutes after the first crash. His mom just casually asked, "did you two see the news?" And then she just told us about it, really calmly. Neither of us had any clue what was actually happening. I think she was in shock. Oddly enough, if we had stuck around in class for a bit longer, we would have seen it because we were watching TV in class.

I remember 9-11. I was going to class and one of my friends was panicing. I asked why and she said that America was underattack.
I called her a moron and walked away, because at that time, I didn't know what the Twin tower's were.

Yeah everyone kept asking me "Did you hear about the planes?" I was like "Uh...I don't really give a damn about planes..." We didn't see it on TV, but I think the principal told us over the intercom and we had a moment of silence. Then I watched it at home. I hate to admit that I didn't really give a damn either, I mean I felt bad for all of the families and the people who died, but I REALLY hate America...it's just too screwed up to love anymore.

I would feel more sorry for the people that were left in confusion and loss in the wake after the distruction.. but I also could care less.. natrual desasters are what keep the ever over`growing population down.. like the Tsunami.. I love Tsunamis they're awesome.. I agree with marooness, the world sucks and should choak on a pickle, die, rot and trip on it's way to hell...

When 9/11 We were watching a movie in class. And one of my friends fell asleep beside me. Then they put on the TV because they heard it had happened. He woke up and screamed "THAT'S AWESOME!" because he thought it was part of the movie. Everyone just looked at him. It was kind of funny.
I remember that it took less than a week to donate extreme amounts of money after the tsunami in another country and we still have homeless people in OUR own country. Why can't we help them as well?

I remember that day! Mostly since my teachers were all in a tizzy about it (which is really weird 'cause I attend an online virtual Catholic school thingy). I could tell they were in a tizzy 'cause they made lots n' lots of typos, missed the morning message, and were suddenly spewing out prayers instead of textbook questions. I got to skip like four lessons that week 'cause my English teacher said we should all go into mourning and my Science teacher just vanished for three days! It was kinda really, really strange seeing it on TV that morning though, like a really badly made movie. sweatdrop

Anyways, I remember 9/11, we had a moment of silence at school, but I didn't know what happened until I got home and watched the news.
But yes, the world does suck, I agree with you there.

I remember skipping school on 9/11. The next week my father and I went to N.Y. to help the cleanup crews. I got a reprieve for missing so much school, else I would have E'd out.
