Aquene as a tiny baby, who seems to remember nothing and worry about nothing. Isn't she adorable? A strange baby though, really strange, likes to stare at nothing, barely talks, can look out a window for hours on end.
She's a pretty content baby though, so Neith's found no reason to be worried about the behavior. A child! Some of the strangeness has vanished with the encoragement of Aquene's family, namely her cousin, but she can and does sit here for hours staring at something that only she appears to find interesting.Full Name: Aquene Elliimiire Nickname: 'Eeenie' Hair: Pale yellow. Eyes: Orange Markings: A forehead marking, looks like a teardrop smudge of blue paint. Skin: Tanned. Eeenie's wings:They're strange. They will go through any object, as if they're just an illusion, and are covered with a light film of sparkliness. Eeenie can touch them though- she can hold them as if they were just regular wings.
But the dust's special. The wings produce lots of it, and anything that isn't Eeenie can be affected by it if she wipes it onto something. (Otherwise, it'll fall off the wings naturally in a snowflake effect and have no effect whatsoever.)
It'll create that 'illusion' effect on anything it touches, for example... if someone's fingers had it on them, those fingers would do the 'illusion' thing. It lasts for around five minutes, but the greater the coating, the longer the effect.

Aquene's Bedroom. Aquene lives in a tent! Weird, but true. It's a nice tent too, rather like one would have seen on The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Has a single bed, several chests for belongings, a shelf and some comfy futons in the middle. (Partly there to protect the pole.)The four newest and most treasured belongings. And yes, a great deal of that love has to do with that they aren't hand-me-downs! Her painting set isn't really used, Eeenie just likes the colors, but she does wear the bracelent and she loves her golden staff.

Now that she's growing up a bit, things are coming back. Places, people, memories, and most recently... her most important part of her old life as the Apprentice and Priestess. Some basic info. (For me for later, and for anyone who's interested! This doesn't mean Aquene knows about all of this yet. xd ) Although she admires and is a little like the BFG in that she catches dreams and likes to use them on people, Aquene's experience with dreams is a little different. She doesn't hear a dream talk to her, rather, she feels the emotion that dream carries. Happiness, hatred, fear, anger, love, contentment, or a mix of emotions, whatever it is the dream is attracted to is what she feels. But more adult feelings, such as lust, aren't going to be attracted to Aquene. Dreams are attracted minds that experience the emotion they carry, or minds that are open to what they can dream for them, and her being a child means that any adultish dreams would simply ignore her and continue on their way to someone else who can dream what they are.
And she can contain a dream within anything. (Within reason- she only has so much dust falling off her wings!) Jars are easy to find and the most likely for her to use but if it can be covered, it can be used. Fish tanks, socks with a tie in the end, bags, take away containers, soda bottles... if she can drop dust into it and close it somehow, she can use it. There are a few important times for her dream catching. Firstly is the waking time. This is when Aquene is awake and in a purely physical world. She can't handle dreams without her dust, can sense the emotion/s of a dream as it passes by, can contain it, but she can't tell what the dream is about. Only what feeling it brings and what 'mood' it is. (For example, a nightmare would be seen as a bad mood. A good dream would be a good mood, a neutral or mixed emotion dream is pretty neutral.)
Then there's the dreaming time. Aquene's ability will slowly lead her to notice that it extends beyond the physical world, when she'll become aware of more than just the dream. A dream weaves a dream for the dreamer based on what the dream is about, or what the dreamer's mind is on, but the dream is still there. It's usually ignored as part of the dream. But because Aquene sees all dreams as the firefly-like glowing light, she'll start to notice it hovering in the dream. And she'll be able to feel it as it slowly winds up the weaving of the dream, and as it slips away from her mind.
If Aquene wishes, she can follow the dream. This is an out of body experience and although it's fun... it's kind of dangerous. She can't see the physical world, only certain aspects of the dream world as she's aware of it. That means she'll be aware of the dreams around her and of dreams that are 'active'. (Weaving a dream for a dreamer.) Maybe it'll get clearer as she gets more experienced in it? It can even mean that she could accidentally slip into an active dream's weaving and be stuck there in someone else's dream for the duration of the dream. Luckily she'd be seen as a part of the dream most of the time... but still, being in another's dream can be dangerous for her. She has no control over it then. She might also get lost on the way back to her body.
The other danger is that if she's in the out of body experience she's unable to protect her physical body and it's open to attacks. Or even worse, invasion. O_O Dreams aren't the only things out there. Aquene's reasonably protected at the moment because of living in a community with elves who practice magic and have a number of protective things up around the place but if she tried it outside Neith's estate, she'd be very vulnerable. Some forms of protection will eventually be needed. I don't know what they could be yet, I suppose there's time to worry over that later. ^_^
Aquene is innocent of all of that right now and when she manages to fly off after a dream, she has no idea what she's doing or what could happen. She just enjoys the feeling. But she's so inexperienced in the dreaming world that these little out of body outings are rare. For the moment.
