Sex Education?

We had a day of it in Primary School in Year 6, and a few Biology lessons on it in Year 7.

In College, there is a weekly Condom clinic that comes, and distributes them, as well as teaches sexual health.

But that's about it.

High school sex ed in the US is always incomplete. College lays it all on the table 3nodding

In Quebec, we had sex ed. in 6th grade in elementary school. I was 11 at that time but I already knew a lot about it. And in biology in 3rd grade in high school. I say that because I don't know if it's the same in the rest of North-America. Is it? question

o.O

Wow.
I get Sex Ed every year, and have since grade 8.
It's usually once or twise a year a Nurse comes in for two hours and teaches us things. Really, since Grade 8 there's been nothing different. Alot of stuff about STDs, how to put on a condom, what kinds of protection there are, etc. We play games like Jepordy and such, and then in CAPP (Career and Personal Planning) class (which is mandatory) we do stuff in class about it. Like how to plan out a family, and more things on STDs.
Biology goes over some of the fundamentals of what happens.
Um.. before that.. from like.. grade 5 to 7 we kind've went over how it happens. Mostly sort of "when a man loves a woman.." sort of thing, with a stupid book that we had to read with our parents.

Yeah.

In England.. heh. According to my best friend it pretty much doesn't exist. He never got sex ed so I tend to teach him alot of things because I adore the class. It's hilarious. I love it when people get uncomfortable, I have no problems speaking my mind, but it's also good to know those things.
DID YOU KNOW THERE'S AN INCURABLE FORM OF GONNORHEA IN EUROPE?!
There sure is. It's curable in North America. No unprotected flings with hookers in Amsterdam for the lot o' ya'.

Yep.I like my sex eds. They're tastay.

I wanna go to Amsterdam.. ;_;

Jace pretty much summed up our Sex Ed in school.

Although, I watched Kinsley to get a bit more info.
Kinsley is a pretty good movie about the uprising of sex ed in the U.S.

Here in the shitty maritimes of Canada.
I had sex Ed at 7th(not sure) and 8th grade.
Then we have the obligation to take a course which includes Sex Ed as one opf the chapters in highschool. Only one between 9 to 12 grade.

Don't ask me.
In NB.(Yes I come from there not ashamed to say it anymore.)
All of our educational programs suck so Sex Ed would suck as well and the cost of colleges and universities are insane. stare

Lolz, New Brunswick.
I'm sorry about that =P

Move to BC.

It probally sucks because you live in one of the less wealthy provinces >.< Next to Ontario, I believe BC and Quebec are neck 'n' neck for wealth.
Oh wait, no. It's Alberta, Ontario, BC/Quebec I think.
Darned Alberta and their oil.
