Newyears resolution: Kill grandpa.

Okay, not really. That's be too easy.

But the b*****d, who owns the house me n' mom currently live in, and the old house we USED to live in, now wants us to move back to our former location. My mom and I say no.

Our old house is actually two houses in one. It's a basic-sized, two story house, but rather than just one nice, roomy house, it's two. It's like a townhouse, except...not.

There's no basement, just two floors and an attic. It's located in between a Walgreen's and another house just like it. the backyard is VERY small, not to mention shared between the two residents. There's a two-story barn garage. The top floor is kinda' nice since there's a door that opens up, with a ledge to sit on, but still, it's SHARED. There's like, utterly no place to sex Pat. Wait, what? No, I didn't say that, you must be imagining things.

The only upside to this is that it's closer to the center of town [read: GameStop and food], but I still could have just walked from my current house, the two houses are only about five minutes apart.

Our current house is more than two times the size of that one, really nice backyard with a hill, secluded and private (well, private in a sense that none of our neighboors talk to us. One side is grumpy old people, and he other side is grumpy Russians). I made a little cave in the pine trees that is a good truth or dare and b*****b Hangout spot (Halloween party referace, ignore it).

There's one floor (although quite large), an attic (only for storage purposes), and a basement (Cat's giant litterbox. Lights no longer work. Basically condemned) There's a sunroom coming off of the first floor, and a lower porch coming off of the basement (the land slopes, so the basement walls can be seen from the back of the house, but not the front). Under the sunroom, and coming off of the lower porch, there's what my mom calls a "gardon room". It's mainly just storage now, but I was beginning to set it up and make it look nice so Pat and I don't have to be doomed to the outdoors if we want some privacy (interpret that how you wish).

First of all, I like the house we have now. It's nice and secluded. I'm antisocial because this town is filled with Jesus-loving Mexicans who think they're from the ghetto, and Bush-lovin republicans and their suburban emo children. the only friends I have ever made in this town have either moved away, or are from the Navy base-housing and have moved away. For some reason, the Navy kids are the only interesting ones...

Secondly, my cat is burried in the garden at the side of the house. Mom and I both agree, we aren't leaving him there to be simply dug up and thrown out when a new resident moves in. I've had that cat since age 6, and he died this past October.

Third (I feel so awkward every time I say that word, damnit Orson Scott Card), Space issues. How the ******** can we move to a larger house to a smaller one with all the crap we have now?

Fourth, my home. I'm not leaving my little home in the trees. I love that place, and I worked so hard to get it set up, building walls out of brances, cayying sheet-rock down the hill and laying it on the ground, carrying the bench down the hill, cutting down all the dead branches. Come spring I was going to have all my homies paint the sheet rock, and Sierra could use her l33t designing skills to prettyfy the place up. I also wanted someone to help me carry the huge log from my front yard, down to my backyard so I can have a place to sit INSIDE aswell as outside (the bench sits at the entryway).

Now, we aren't DEFINATELY moving out. Grandparents have two or three months to find a new tennet for the smaller house, and if they don't, we're ********. The reason why they want us to move back is that they aren't getting enough rent from everyone. To be oerfectly honest, I don't fully comprehend what exactly is wrong, since I don't have all the details, but why can't they just up the rent a little on the other houses. Apparently, they have allowed mom to not need to pay rent on the house we currently live in.

Another issues the the current quality of the house. They'de need to spend more money on repairs on the electrical system, ceiling water damage, the pipes, and the shredded up bathroom in the basement (well, the entire basement actually), it'd be so much easier and less costly to just let us stay in the current house.
