the 2nd mission where you have to sneak intot eh castle and steal back a ring is kind of confusing. i found teh passage way but when i open teh box all i see is a brass pearl ring and a note. is that ring teh one i need? cuz when i leave the red marker is still pointing into box. what am i missing?

i had the same probelm, it might be a glitch. You are supposed to open the box at night but it might not be there, so what i had to was sneak into the room in the evening and wait till the countess arived and watched her put it in the box. it should be in there then, if not try pickpocketing her, but she didn't have it with her when i tried. I think the ring has a different name to the normal ones but not 100% sure.

realy the best way to do is pickpocket her and then just run or if u cant pick her then wait til about 11:00 or 12: then it will be in the box
