This is where I'm keeping the Island Culture points until I can organize them into something readable XD

Origin Island.

~All Islanders are born with the smog.
~The smog is a genetic disease that seems to hit harder the more intelligent an Smo is.
~Years and years ago the Smog hit the island with such ferrocity that 2/3 of the population was killed by it. Leaving behind Smos that really only knew how to take care of the sick. They didn't know anything about technology, they didn't know anything about science. There were a few Smo's that could remember how to read and they tried to teach the younger monkeys, but there was so much to do that there really wasn't time. So one year a couple crates of books that were destined to go to a small bookstore in Durem washed up on the shores. The few monkeys that could read did so and taught the younger monkies.
~Now what the island has, is a mismatched culture built using the books as an example. There were hundereds of books all in different genres... children's books, sci-fi books, gardening books, cooking books... anything you could imgaine, and yet somehow not enough at the same time.

arrow No Smo will be able to be extremely intelligent at this time and live through the smog.
arrow Islanders have VERY unstable DNA. So they can be either animal form or fifther (anthro) At almost any stage... but becuase they have such unstable Dna, they can't switch back and forth like Skull Monkeys can.
arrow It is considered most common for Islanders to have both first and last names...
arrow Almost all the names come from a book somewhere, and quite a few aren't really names in Human terms... (ex: Brick Yellow was named after the yellow brick road in the Wizard of Oz... and Felix Cerulean was named Felix for a play and Cerulean because his mother liked the way it sounded but didn't know it was a colour.)
arrow Children's last names don't always match the parents... they didn't seem to catch that from the books.
arrow Names are not gender specific. (ex: John is the Kings advisor... and she's a female.) No one considers it strange for a girl to have a boy's name, or a boy to have a girl's name.
arrow Things that humans would consider simply have been confused a lot of the time... the shoping store is called Rental's for example...
arrow The ecconomy works very much like a communist society. Everyone is assigned a job by the committie, and everyone is assigned hours that they have to be at the generators.
arrow The generators are what power the whole island, and each monkey is assigned at least 2 hours at the generators at least every two days.
arrow The committie carries out 90% of the orders on the Island.
arrow The King's name is Felix, and he's an idiot, but a really nice guy.
arrow For the most part the islanders are treated well by government, and the physical challenges of the generators keep them healthy enough to continually fight the smog.
arrow Islanders are allowed to make their own choices and appeals to the committie... they are allowed to date freely and choose their own mates, but housing and schooling is assigned by the committie.
arrow The only trasportation on and off the island is on Brick's ship (the wandering kestrel) ...

arrow Technically... if it can be found in a book, then it could feasibly be a part of the island's culture at some point. Dress and style, accents, and religious concepts... all are present with rainbows of choice.

Liam is a very confused, shy, lonely and homeless skull monkey. He was drafted into the Revvers by Nivan herself, and he jioned mainly because she said that it would provide him with family opoprtunities. Liam's been a member of the Revvers for over a year. Like the others coming to the center, Liam is the head of his Tav (unit, D-TAV- jokingly refered to as the Decaf Unit) and he reports to Nivan on how his Tav's missions are going. Lately the revvers have been causing a lot more trouble than Liam wants to admit, and deep down inside, he's not entirely sure that he want's to stay there.

Reane is another shy and quiet Skull Monkey who joined the Revvers for companionship and a family type atmosphere. She, like the others coming to the center, is the head of her Tav (her unit) and she reports to Nivan about how the missions are going. Reane may be a quiet monkey, but that's really because she's assessing the situation and trying to figure out what side she's on. She almost always knows where she stands before she even says anything, and she will have found out as much information about the people around her as posible before she gets into a situation. Deep down the Revvers give her a purpose that she didn't have before... and she enjoys that.

Tandy is head of A-Tav... the first unit in the Revver militia, and she's very proud to be so. She's bossy and sassy, quick to take offense and quick to start a fight. Her famous last lines being 'bruising time', she's gotten into many a scrape and been chastised for being so unruly. As far as tactics go, Tandy's usually the first to suggest Violence as a solution. She joined the revvers a year and half ago, and she really loves it. It gives her cause to kick some butt, and not feel bad about it afterwards.

Zoe... A girly, flamboyant, valley type who obsesses about appearances and image. She's the head of C-TAV (the third unit of the Revver mililtia) , and like the others, she reports directly to Nivan. Zoe joined the Revvers because she was still youn and influential and it was the 'popular' thing to do... at least she thought so. The poor kid was abandoned as a very small child and found her way into Nivan's predecessor's paws at the tender age between child and teen... she's been Revvin' ever since. All in all, Zoe finds the time she spends with her fellow revvers comforting. she loves the fact that she's got a whole unit of Revvers following her and looking to her for instuctions. She can often be heard commenting that her unit is the most sylish unit of the lot.

Revvers - The Revvers are a renegade group of Skull Monkeys that have sworn to take revenge on the Islanders that cast them out of their homeland. Most of the Skull Monkeys in the revvers today have never even seen the island and have no recollection of ever having been there... they simply folow the creed and do as they're asked my Nivan.

Nivan - Nivan is an adult Skull Monkey, raised in the original Hq... however Nivan's growth was stunted and she never grew larger than a child monkey. She found herself abandoned as a small child and taken in by Dranna, the founder of the Revvers. When Dranna was killed during a mission, Nivan rose to take his place. She can be quite scary when she needs to be, and she often is. In the Revver PCQ there are stories about things Nivan has done to unworthy revvers.

PCQ - The PCQ is an acronymn for Partis Cave Quarters. In layman's terms it's the system of caves where the revvers have their Headquarters. The caves have a natural heating element, since they're situated above a hot springs. They're well enough furnished with furniture and bedding that would suit four legged skull monkeys.

Leggers - there are many rules in the Revvers that must be adhered to in order for Skull Monkeys to remain members. The first and foremost of which is that 'no Skull Monkey shall wish to be human.' ... No Revver will openly admit to wanting to go anthro. Nivan states that it is unnatural to mutate oneself in order to be something you're not. She thinks that every Sm should be happy with who they are...

TAV - there are four units in the Revvers, each commanded by a TAV-Leader... A,B,C and D. the leaders know each other, but the other members of the units don't always corespond. each unit is always made up of the same Monkeys and are never combined to go on missions together. In fact... Unit's are only informed of their own missions and know nothing of tasks assigned to other groups.

Groups - Revvers have a habit of wearing paint on thier skulls. This was started by the leader of C-TAV and has been a popular tradition ever since. the paint is ALWAYS applied in the same tints as the Sm's fur, and is most often done in complete moderation. It becomes easie to recognize fellow revvers by the facial paint.

mrgreen And now your mission.
New Grounds communication and Scouting info. During the course of the next span of time the phone lines and internet at the Hq will become unusable. You are to await this circumstance, and then when it happens you will be contacted with more information and a new peice of equipment. You will then make your way to the roof and install this device with the new phone line WITHOUT being noticed by whatever repair person is there to fix it. This is of the upmost importance since this will allow the revvers to watch over the center by monitering communications. You are also to scout out the center and give the exact specifications as to where the important rooms and people are. We might need this surveilance information on a full scale attack.

3. Rp with Tandy, a chance meeting.
4. Rp between Nivan and Liam (Keppit plays Nivan)
5. Attach the Comm Patch to the new phone lines
6. Rp'd fight with Liam over dissagreements.

~That's it. ^_^ Feel free to rp any and all of this in the Hq, but try not to give away too much at first. towards the middle it should become difficult to do that though so, go with it. I trust you. ^_^
