Setting - A village large enough for trouble to almost go unnoticed.
Baylyn wandered into the village, her steps confident, but she was uncertain about where to go. She sighed softly as she found a bench and sat down on it. Her eyes were narrowed against the brightness of the day. It was silghtly chilly, and because of the winter weather, she wore a coat. It wasn't thick, but it was enough that she could also use her fur to stay warm under her human clothes.

(I should take it this is the town...)
Sibet can be seen as he quickly jumps onto the back of the bench balancing on his legs. "Hello mom!" He says as he rolls down the front of the chair and lands on his feet in front of her.
"What we gonna do today!" He says. The winter wind doesn't go through his jacket.

Myavel watched the two uncertainly. Her eyes narrowed as she realized these weren't normal village people. She took a few steps forward to go talk to them, when she quickly decided against it and then went behind the building corner. She had been living here for a while, but she didn't want to make a scene.
Suddenly, Jerod shoved her forward.
"Tag!" He screamed it in her ear, and her face burned with anger. The boy hadn't figure out that she hated him, and they'd been living in the same place for more than 5 years. Her lips lifted in a snarl and her hands stung as she had grabbed the side of the building for support. She swung her head around and quickly ran towards the boy, smacking him upside the head as he continued to run. He didn't fall, but surprise entered his eyes as he turned and began chasing her.
Myavel laughed softly. He didn't have a chance, she thought to herself as she put on a burst of speed.

Baylyn watched the children at play and then studdied the young girl who came running towards them. She appeared faintly foxish in her facial profile, her eyes darting cautiously.
She returned her attention to Sibet and grinned.
"Well, you can go play. I'm going to go see what there is to buy. I've got a particular craving for bread at the moment."

"Look at everyone! So many people all in one place!" Sibet says, as he looks around.
"Oh! Look! Their playing a game over there!" He points to the girl and boy playing tag.

"Sure!" Sibet quickly dashes off to the two. "What you doing! Can I join?" He says quickly.

"If you can make sure he doesn't catch me, sure!" Myavel sped off, but not before looking at the boy who had offered to help. He looked slightly younger, but she had a feeling he wasn't all human either.

"He quickly catches up to her, keeping between her and the other boy. "So, what you playing?" He asks.
(By the way, my character is actually younger than you. He is 14, though he could still look older I guess. I edited my profile to match how he was acting.)

"At the moment, I'm trying to not get skinned," she said with a slightly breathless laugh as she continued running. Jerod finally quit chasing them, and she noticed. Myavel slowed her pace enough that she didn't tumble head over heels when she skidded to a stop.

Sibet launches himself into the air and does a flip, landing on his feet. He slids to a stop in the snow facing the girl. "That was fun!" He says upon landing.

Myavel stuck out her hand and grinned.
"The name's Myavel," she said confidently. She liked this guy, he seemed so alive and full of fire.

"Names Sibet. Nice to meet you!" He smiles and hesitantly takes her hand.
Humans have such.. odd greetings. He thought as he took her hand in a shake.

"So, why are you here," she asked curiously. She was unfortunately gifted with an overlarge sense of wonder and questions. She looked at him curiously, noting his red hair and stature. She realized that he stood a bit taller than her, but she wasn't exactly short either.

"I'm in town with my mother. She went to go and get some food, so I went and followed you." He says, open and honest. He realizes that he is still holding her hand and lets go.

Myavel blushed slightly as she realized she had forgotten the same thing with her hand. She clasped both hands behind her back and then shifted on her feet.
"Thanks for running with me," she said softly, her eyes downcast.

"Well, you know of anything we can do around here?" Sibet looks around, wondering what he can do next. He bounces on the tips of his feet, feeling the anticipation.
