Jazz sat on the beach watching over Zoe. "It's nice to sit with my grandchild, right Hula Bob." she looked over to the demon sitting on his hammock. She had next to her a gingerbread man. It was sleeping.
Hula Bob chuckled, "Oh yes. On a very awesome day!" He looked to the child who was playing near the water. He had his familar Maui on his shoulder.
"Awesome!" Maui mimiced.
Zoe giggled as she held onto a purple and teal Naiad plush. "You like water?" She asked it as she made a mist around herself. It was a fishie pae so it had to.

Sol was suprised he'd made it out the door of the HQ, let alone all the way to the beach. As of late, he'd been having trouble leaving the HQ, more of a not wanting than, not being able to, but after some instance, from both Polgara and Hi, Sol was finally out and about, in the sun, checking up on the isle. As he walked along the beach, he noticed the group of Pae all strewn about on it, and he smiled.
It was good to see Pae out and about like this, he thought to himself, it was good to see them happy, and it warmed his heart. Looking upwards towards the sun, he chuckled. It was a nice day, maybe he should go play nice?
"Hello?" He called out to the group of Pae, and as he got closer, he noticed one was an Elder, but he wasn't sure who it was. It had been a fair while since he'd even come near a beach.

Regan walked along the beach with Aquamarine swimming along next to him. He thought it would be nice to let her visit other pae. He felt bad that she couldn't leave the water, but didn't know what else to do. "Hi!" He said to the other pae gathered on the beach.
Aquamarine swam close to shore and smiled at the other paes. She wondered if any of them would swim with her, that would be nice.

Jazz saw Sol and waved. "Aloha, Sol! Oh and Regan!" She smiled and waved to the other adult as well. Jazz wondered if Sol had seen her since she became an elder. She just shurgged.
"Yes, Aloha." Hula Bob called to both. "What's that with you dude?" He asked his son-in-law as he saw the little Naiad baby in the water. She was so small.
Zoe saw the little Naiad and went over to her. "Hihi! You look like my plushie." She said as she showed it to the other pae with a wide grin.

Sol chuckled and waved to everyone. "How are you all?" He smiled and looked around, noticing the naiad infant. "Oh, how interesting, I haven't seen anything like her before," He scratched the back of his head. "Wow, I've really been out of touch."

"Aloha" Regan smiled and then looked at Aquamarine. "That's Aquamarine, my adopted daughter. She is a naiad, a mermaid-like pae." Regan smiled proudly.
Aquamarine smiled and nodded to the girl pae. "Pretty!" She hadn't learned very many words yet.

"Yeah, I haven't seen you a while Sol. This is my granddaughter Zoe." She smiled to the other elder, Naiad and Regan. "Nice to see you too Regan and Aquamarine!"
Hula Bob smiled. "Nice to see everyone as well. It's an awesome day!" Hula Bob looked back up at the sky as it was clear and blue. What a great day.
Zoe bowed to Sol. "Happy to meet you. I'm Zoe." Zoe looke back the the Naiad. "You're pretty too!" she giggled.

Sol chuckled, "Jazz? Is that you?" He scratched the back of his head. "We'll doesn't that just beat all, how have you been? Grand-daughter? You have a hubby?"
Wow, Sol had been gone WAY too long.

Regan smiled and sat near the water, it was nice to see Aquamarine interacting with others. "It's nice to meet you, Sol."
Aquamarine giggled, "Zo..Zoe." She was learning words slowly. It was hard when she hadn't met any others like her yet.

Hula Bob got up off his hammock and walked over. "So, the eggs became these? So very cute little dudette! She's like my granddudette, then?" He asked Regan with a nod.
Zoe smiled. "Yes, that's right. And this plush is...well I don't know. What do you think?" Zoe asked the toddler and showed the Niada plush close to her.
Well, that was a hard subject. One she didn't really want to get into. "Let's just say I had love long enough to have kids that has now gotten me grandkids. I dare say Zoe is related to you too." She had remembered that Zoe's grandpa was related to Sol.

Torvil chuckled and bowed his head to Raken, "Nice to meet you too..." When he heard Jazz talk he bowed his head. "Ah I see, I apologize if I brought up a touchy subject, So that would make me her?" He wondered who of his line had come to live with Jazz?

Regan smiled at the kids, "Yup, Bob she is. I bet you always wanted a mer-pae for a relative." Regan laughed and watched the kids some more.
Aquamarine looked at the plush and thought about it, "Misty!" It was a wrod she had heard her Dad describe the stuff that came off the lake in the morning.

Jazz nodded. "It's okay...just a sore subject. Zoe would be your great great grand kid? Her Grandfather was Thom your grandson, correct? Zoe's dad is my son Jet. A great guitarist. He's in my band 'Jazz and the Beach Bums'. He's also blind." Jazz explained some of what Sol had missed.
"What has happened with you?"
"Misty? Like this?" Zoe winked and then made a small mist around herself and the Naiad toddler. "I think that's good." She giggled and put the plushie on Aquamarine's head.
"That is so very awesome! Yes, a merpae related to me! Totally cool!" Hula Bob smiled as he watched the two younger ones play.

Sol nods and smiles. "That's wonderful, I always knew that your family had musical talent," He chuckles and thinks for a moment. "Yes, Thom..." Actually he had no clue that Thom was his grandson, but then he rarely left his studies, so it would make sense.
"Oh, not much, just... studies is all," He chuckled and watched the children, most specifically Zoe.
