*Ashe’s eyes grew heavy as she found herself slowly hitting the ground. Her head ached and throbbed; her ear pained her still. It had been a good day now, but the pain kept coming back to her. She couldn’t really lick at it to try to make it feel better… due to the fact that she couldn’t reach it. Ashe whined some before crawling herself beside near by tree, where she then rested herself.
Soft pants passed her chest as she growled and wiggled onto her side. Her paws lay limp as the she wolf rested. Many thoughts pasted her mind, all events from the previous day seemed to replay themselves within the back of her mind. Why did she always get dealt with the wrong deck? Sighing deeply Ashe let her thoughts die down as she rolled onto her belly and closed her eyes.*

Kamali moved through the woods with a famaliar comfort that he'd thought he'd lost forever. He had slept a coupld of hours yesterday... and most of this day away. His limbs were still sore.. but it was amazing what a big meal and rest did for you. His golden eyes were still dull and he still looked rather depressing... but he felt better and that was what counted.
He hesitated as he walked, nostrils flaring. Was that... He shut his eyes a moment and took a deeper breath, walking forward. Ashe was around? His head swung left and right, trying to decide where she was. He had a lot to apologize for...
So he continued walking, though he kept getting distracted by the stars above. They were just too pretty not to watch!
And then... his foot hit a root and with a slight yelp he plummeted forward, landing right on top of Ashe! Oh this wouldn't turn out good, would it?
...At least he was light.

*Yipping she quickly jerked herself around she rolled out from under him. Her icy cold gaze fell upon him as she gave him a dirty look. Her ears tucked backwards as she cried.*
“What are you doing?!”
*Her body sunk down to the ground slowly as she kept her eyes pinned along his form. How on earth did he find her anyway?- and why did he come in the middle of the night, she was sore and tired!*

He groaned and tried to clammor back to his paws, only managing to sit up, and he scootched away from her. "Sorry!" He said at first, ears flattening and face becoming guilty. "I was... walking.." He suddenly sounded a little offensive. Wasn't that obvious? "I smelt you were around and thought... well..." He trailed off and realized maybe he hadn't thought it through. It was late. "Night time is the hardest time for me to sleep.." As if that explained it all.
He shook his head and sighed. "Well anyways.. I wanted to.. apologize about yesterday.. I wasn't myself, you know?" His gaze lingered on her ear, the one he'd bitten.

“Oh… well, It’s alright… no harm done, really.”
*Ashe nodded and let a fake smile pass her lips. He could tell that she wasn’t being truthful, but… it was an issue she really didn’t want to get into right now it seemed. Her body was tired and her head hurt. Whining softly as she rolled herself up she sat down and gazed at him for a few seconds.*
“I’m.. Sorry too I guess…”
*She was truthful about this however, she did feel bad for what had happened the other day.*
“Do… do you… are you apart of a pack? You asked me.. Before…”
*She questioned softly before trailing off. Why was she even asking him this?*

Kam frowned in a hard manner, obviously not liking the fact hat she wasn't speaking the truth. He took a deep breath and looked away from her, paying more attention to the skies above. "A pack..." He sighed.
"I dont know." He answered, and that was honestly. "I... joined one a little while ago... but haven't been in the lands since.." What was he so afraid of? Maybe he should just shut him off from the world. "So I dont know."

“…”
*Her eyes narrowed as he spoke and with a soft sigh she found herself gazing down at her paws. Her black and fire colored fur ruffled as a wind passed the two. Wiggling herself slightly she felt a chill run down her back side, but regained her body warmth soon after. For a while she simply gazed at her paws, unaware of how to react to him.*
“..What are you still doing here?”
*She asked dully.*
“Shouldn’t you go back to your home?”

Kam grew sad for a moment and sighed, then moved to his feet. "Yeah... I guess.." He hesitated, as if he was about to say something else to her, but moved away from the tree instead. "Hope you feel better.." He called back, head hanging, as he moved right and further from her tree... still going the way he was headed before he'd bumped into her, and not the way he'd come. Obviously he was not going back home.
He wished Stray was around... or Sen.. they were always fun. He was feeling rather lonely.

“Wait..”
*She called out to him before moving to her paws. She ran over to him quickly and spoke with a soft pant.*
“…how can you go home, you said you do not know if you have a pack… so… that means you do not have a home?”
*Well… in her mind this was the best way to make him stay, yeah, by telling him he didn’t have a home, that would make him stay for sure. Her tail wagged rather pathetically as she gave him a weak smile. She wanted him to stay with her for a while…*
“Unless… you… have a family…”

He returned her weak smile and gave her a look of.. well that was obvious. "I just thought you were sick of my company so.." He said weakly, quietly.
He winced and shook his head about the family question. "No." Quieter still.
After a moment he constructed his face to mock surprise. "Does that mean you're inviting me to stay here?" He smirked softly, smiling at her for real this time.

“Well, only if you wanted to..”
*She trailed again. Ashe’s eyes didn’t move from her paws now. She felt silly for even asking. Her tail slowly batted from side to side as she gazed away from him and thought.*
“You know… you don’t really seem to sure about my asked question.”
*Maybe he was lying to her? Maybe she just needed to chill; but Ashe was never one to trust so willingly.*

He nudged her and then started moving toward the tree, trying to think on how to answer it. "I had a family." He said, then realized she might require more of an answere. "I don't know where they are any longer or what happened to them... it's been such.. a long time." He sat himself down, waiting for her to come over. Maybe he should prod her about her personal life.
He chuckled softly at his assinine thoughts and let his ears lower. "I've been by myself for months now." That was a long time to him, he was used to being around others.

*As he sat down only his words left her company. At first she was stunned to hear that he had a family...but, it soon set in and with a completely dull expression she sat herself beside the older male and sighed deeply. It seemed so much colder now and her chest slowly pushed up and down as she whined to herself for a few moments.
Why was she so upset what he had said anyway… it didn’t matter to her, did it? Gazing at him for a moment Ashe spoke.*
“I don’t have a family.”
*She stated simply, with a dull tone. Her tail slowly curled around her hind paws as she looked away from him and laced her eyes along her paws again.*

He watched her move and breathed slowly with the air. For the first time so long he was actually feeling tired, and not exhausted. Suddenly he leaned on her, trying to get her to lay down so he could curl up with her. He didn't care if she'd be pissed or not, he wanted to sleep against another body tonight... how long had it been? Kam shut his eyes for a moment, trying not to feel like such a creep. "Sleep.." he murmered to her.
She didn't have a family at all? "The family I was born into... died in a pack slaughter.. but my siblings and I had seemed to escape. I haven't seen them in a long time now... the family I have created... is gone... I don't think I'll ever see it again." He said softly, as if explaining himself.
His eyes moved toward the stars again and he sighed deeply. "The stars always make me feel safer though.."

*At first she didn’t know how to react to his actions, and all she could do was follow his direction and lower her body to the ground. Her chin pressed against her paws as she softly whined at him, feeling him rest himself against her back. Ashe’s eyes went wide as he spoke to her.
Sleep.
It seemed like such a nice thing to do right now, but her mind was racing. What was he trying to pull? Her body quivered for a few seconds before she finally talked herself into resting still. Maybe… maybe she would rest.
Ashe’s eyes lay heavy as he spoke to her, and told her of his past. Maybe.. He just needed to have her around… for tonight. He seemed so very sad… With a soft tone Ashe spoke out to him and nestled herself into a ball.*
“…Sleep.”
