Alls goes well, until, Kyon, the main character, interferes. ah man i want to see that badly ill ask a favor from my brother. ehhehehhehehheh. i love being the youngest mrgreen It’s a good show. I watched the sub on Winamp last year. The series works like a dream. The first episode, chronologically, is the seventh, I think. The second episode is actually the first, and the third is the fifth. It goes on like that, it’s a bit confusing but hilarious at the same time. Let me copy the description from Absolute Anime, since its better then mine. Absolute Anime In this very unusual anime, we follow an eccentric schoolgirl named Haruhi Suzumiya. She is getting ready for her first year of High School. However, she proclaims that instead of other regular students, she requests the company of aliens, time travelers, and other paranormal beings! The story is told from the point of view of Kyon, a boy who sits in front of Haruhi and is the only one that talks to her. After trying in vain to fit into the schools clubs, she decides to start her own. And the S.O.S. Brigade is born. The only ones who can apply are the same paranormal beings she's been searching for. However, Haruhi finally gets her wish as aliens, ghosts, and cross-dimensional beings finally cross paths with our heroes, and things only proceed to get even weirder after that... Unlike most anime shows, the episodes in Haruhi Suzumiya are laid out in a more disjointed order. One early episode can actually take place much later chronologically within the story.

Actually, as far as the anime goes with this it's way out of order farther than one might expect. Th reason that there's totally unrelated episodes in the anime is because they pull chapters from all over the novel series. With 8 books or so, and the main plotline only taking place int the first one or two books or so... well... lets just say that the baseball episode is pulled from book 5 or so. Some of the episodes really don't need to be numbered for that reason, although they do all technically have a chronological order.
Anyway, you might otice that when the viewpoint becomes first person it's often harsd to tell wether Kyon is thingking or talkihng, that's actually a feature of the book. The book is in first person, like te anime, and Kyon is the only character without quotation marks when he talks so it's sometimes difficult to tell if he's talking or thinking.

I like it how his character will be trying to do the right thing, but is thinking the wrong thing.

The dub is finished. It shouldn’t be that long before they release the whole series in dub. Unfortunately, Wendee Lee does the voice of Haruhi Suzumiya. Her voice just isn't wright for the part. -_-

I think it's be fairly hard to find an English voice fit for Haruhi, I literally can't imagine one right now, while I can usually just tack imagined random voices on characters. O.o

O.o That’s true, Geneon is going to translate Rozen Maiden. I can’t imagine a voice for Suigintou! stressed Wikipedia International distribution Geneon has confirmed that they picked up Rozen Maiden, and the first DVD will be released in the spring of 2007. TOKYOPOP Germany has released German dubs of all episodes of the first season on DVD, and Träumend has been announced. Kaze, an anime publisher in France, has licensed the anime, but no release date has been announced.

bluejan159 it sounds really excienting, i want to watch it, were? Since they’ve licensed The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. You probably wont find a torrent, or an episode on YouTube now. The only thing you can do, is either buy the Japanese version now, or wait for them to release the complete series in dubs. Of course, you can always buy the first volume in dub, and collect the rest as they come out. But I suggest waiting for the collection to come out, so you can have every episode in subs and dubs. ^_^

Well, they’ve already scheduled the release for the first volume of the dub. So its just a matter of time before they release the whole series in dub.
