4Kids...they are the a** holes who turned Pocket Monsters into 'Poke'mon!' They are the ones that have skinned Yu-Gi-Oh! down to it's saddest core because of editing. Now....they have One Piece.

One Piece..glorious One Piece. Did you know that one piece is supposed to be a show for adaults by American standards? Did you kow there is blood in every fight?((Lots and lots of blood...especially Zoro. On fight he lost almost all his blood...AN LIVED!)) How about F*ck, a**, damn? Not on our TVs! Changing One Piece into a kid-freindly show is like turning CSI: Miami into a kids show. Think about it.

The voices suck. Ussoppu sounds like a freaking CLOWN high on helium. And Sanji-kun..let's not get started on how freaking french he sounds. And Mihawk! I was dying in tears of laughter and deciet. THey hange 'Zoro' to 'Zolo' W.T.F. What did they have to change it? Woooow...him and the spanish dude both use swords! Amaaaazing! They aren't even spelled the same, dammit!

4Kids is the worst dubbing team in the whole US. If they get Naruto....I dare not even think about it.

And don't get me started on Tokyo Mew- Excuse me...Mew Mew Power Do they folks at 4Kids think kids are dumb enough not to be able to say 'Tokyo' or find out where it is? Honestly! I don't understand why they had to change the super-kawaii names of the Mew to 'Zoey' and 'Bridget' I mean, even in the manga, Purin and Minto ((Pudding and Mint)) are english! And Ren? REN?!I don't get why 4Kids has to get a hold of all the good Animes and kill them to make them ...American freindly

Oh, and by the way, Luffy has never said 'Ignoramous' ((sp?)) in the real anime. And, when Kaya takes Jangos weapon, it's meant to kill herself. And they change some of the best music in Amine-dom to that gay s**t in the dub.

If they took Anime's like Pocket Monsters and Mew Mew and didn't change anything except for dubbing, I'd love them! But One Piece? ZOEY?! Come on!

They should make another company, such as 4-Adults or something. rolleyes

Well, it's terrible as an anime series just like Rave Master was, but to me, it's the manga that counts since they always take out the good parts from a manga when they turn it into anime. And you don't have to try to like the series, and it's very hard to like series when you now have a picture in your mind that you cannot erase how your first impression is/was against that series and/or character. (I also hate Zatch Bell and D.I.C.E. and One Piece is turning into more of a flop as an anime series...)

I never knew any of the old shows....I guess they were different...I started watching onepiece on 4 kids and I hated it so I figured the manga would be the same....thats why I never picked it up I will check it out next time I'm in the store.

I tried sooooo hard though to like it. I really did. I've got a year and a half's worth of shonen jump issues and I still can't get into it. (which means that most of the one piece sections are unread. >_<

Yes...4kids is a disgrace to the animes they dub. X_X
