White paws danced over the ground as the shock red and white male trotted on pink pads towards the edge of the clearing into the forest. The shadows from the trees were already melding with his colors to make him almost like a walking sunset.
It had been quite a few days since the bright red wolf ate, though it seemed he was always starving he was even worse so at that moment, his two toned eyes covered with slime from lack of sleep and exhaustion. Everything in the world was telling him to sleep, but Akamichi rebelled against his urges and slunk along gently. ninja

Reityn The mostly black wolf sauntered slowly towards the clearing that he knew by now should be around here somewhere. "Hmmph." He huffed, stopping for a moment and glancing about, his gaze catching a spot of red and white that looked as though it didn't quite fit in. "Whassat?" He inquired quietly, to himself, stalking towards it through the bushes, ignoring the branches that he was pushing aside.
"Maybe I've discovered something completely new." He mused, again rather quiet, as he came closer to the object. It was then that Avner noticed that it wasn't a new object at all, but just another wolf, as his scent passed the black male's nostrils. "Hello there." He greeted cheerily, wagging his flame-tipped tail a little and then stopping a few yards from the other male, though on the other side of a fair amount of bushes as well.

Red ears pricked as the large husky marked wolf turned his head to gaze at the other listlessly. It took quite a few blinks of his two toned eyes before the black and blue wolf came into view and Akamichi forced a cheerful smile onto his weak muzzle. After all, there was a reason why he would be so inclined to be polite towards others.
"Hello over there." Aka called out in a croak of a voice, rolling his strong shoulders to stand up just a slight bit taller. "Nice to meet you."
Blinking back the glaze again, Aka kept his footing for the stranger, simply hoping that he wouldn't take it upon himself to want a feast of wolf meat that day. Or that this wasn't his territory. He REALLY hoped that this wasn't this wolf's territory. The last thing he needed was a battle. ninja

Avner rolled his eyes. This other male tried to look bigger, but he could see already it was all a charade. "Nice, indeed." Avner coughed, lifting his blueflame paw slightly and then reclined to his haunches, not particularily feeling the need to get any closer to the other.
The mostly black wolf huffed and then flicked his tail. "Name?" Avner inquired, though it was mostly a demand. He was normally rather short with others, and he wasn't one to give his name unless he'd spent at least a few minutes talking with the other first.
And to be honest, the black wolf had no idea whether this other male was hostile, friendly or anything in between. He wrinkled his nose a little and flicked his pale, blue-lined ears, waiting for a response from the husky-marked other.
