It was bright and clear outside. The moon was hanging there, big, and round, and... she tilted her head, staring at it, perplexed. Her mother was constantly telling her there was a two-legger male in the moon, but she would swear up and down it was a bunny rabbit.
Silly momma. Two-leggers in the moon were fairy tales for kids. Honestly!
She bounded down the beach, stiff-legged, flapping desperately. She would show everyone these wings of hers weren't just for show! So she hopped about, looking ridiculous, she was sure, while the moon sparkled off the crashing waves behind her.
Luckily muting her squeaks and grunts every time she fell out of the air like a dead bird.

Rhapsody wondered along the beach. This was deffinately a weird place. He had yet again esacped his grandmother and this time followed the river to see where it went. The water lapped up on the sand and around his hooves as he walked. It was a bit chilly but other than that it was a neat feeling under his hooves.
Looking up the beach he saw a figure fluttering about. He wasn't too sure what it was as he couldn't see from way back where he was. Picking up his pace he causiously trotted up the beach. Curiosity was calling him but he was still wary of the dangers that could be lurking about.

She took a while, but her wings were exhausted, and if she landed in the sand one more time, she'd look horrible when she went home, and her mother would panic. So she rolled off the sand and shook herself, like she'd seen Uncle Hanzee do, and gave a happy little chirp as the sand was flung off. Then she glanced around. Nothing to do, really. Being alone was boring, she didn't see why Uncle Hanzee and Auntie Feryal liked it so much.
And then she saw it. A small soquili-like shape? Maybe. What was it though? She lifted her head, flexed out her wings, to make herself look more imposing. She didn't care how adorable Uncle Duo said it made her look, her mother and Uncle Hanzee both showed the appropriate amount of fear, so it had to be true.

As he came closer, he could see that it was another similar to himself only it had wings. Maybe this was another angel! That would be two he had seen so far. He watched as the figure shook itself off of sand and then it spotted him. He falltered a bit in his approach as it seemed to poof at him from a far.

Well.... it seemed harmless enough. And it seemed kinda... small. In an odd way, it reminded her of the one time she'd seen her brother. "Who are you?" she called, charging down the beach, head held proudly high. "And why are you on my beach? I was here first." she sounded petulant, and only glared more fiercely as she got closer to the other form. "Hmm?"

It could talk and it was now heading his way. "Who are you? And it's not just your beach, ya know!" he huffed and picked up his stride. The voice sounded like a girl and he sure wasn't going to have a girl talk to him that way. Girls were supposed to be gentle and polite like his granny, not rude.

(Yue is grown, bue we'll finish this rp with her as a filly!)
OH. It was a boy. Well, boys were all weird, and didn't count. "I was here first. So that means you have to stay away." such attitude! If it wasn't natural to her, she'd be embarassed. Boys that small were like her brother, or her memory of him. Weak and shy, and certainly not the type to stand up to her! They had to be... well... an adult before they did that, and the little pink... pink... blob coming her way was certainly not an adult.

The pink colt huffed again, clearly getting frustrated. As he got closer, he noticed it was a filly. Not only did she have brightly colored wings but also a funny looking thing sticking out of her forehead. How strange! "How do you know that I wasn't here first. I was just down the beach where you couldn't see me." he said and stuck out his chest trying to look assertive but as he kept getting closer he became more and more unsure of what he was doing. "Besides, I don't have to listen to someone like you."

She eyed him suspiciously. "Oh yeah?" she snapped back. "Well I am bigger than YOU so that means that you do! You have to listen to your mom and dad. They're bigger than you too, so there! I'm right, you aren't! This beach is mine."
She eyed the pink foal, measuring him up. "But I guess I could let you stay if you bring me a flower and call me Miss Yue."

The pink foal puffed his chest out trying to look somewhat bigger than he was. "You're not that much bigger than me. And if I did listen to my father than I wouldn't be here out on the beach at night and you wouldn't either if you listened to your own paretns." he called back to her.
He wasn't about to go get some dumb flower and call her some dumb and let her win. She had though hit a soft spot in mentioning his mother, whom he had not met and didn't even know if she existed.

She sneered at him, sluffing up her feathers and making an odd noise through her nose that even she couldn't identify. "Well guess what! I live with my MOM. And she lets me do whatever I want." she smirked, sensing weakness in the way his chest puffed up. "And if I listened to MY father..." she tilted her head. "I'd be a BOY."
What sense did that make? She didn't know. She'd only met her father once or twice, but her brother lived with him. So hah. Boys lived with their fathers, and girls with their moms.

"Well, I...I..." he stammered trying to think of a came back. "I don't have a mom!" he spat out before he could stop himself. "And not all boys live with thier fathers. My dad lives with his mom and his sister lives with his dad and his brother lives with neither of them!" he said matter of factly.
He wasn't so sure what point that made but he tried his best with keeping the arguement going.

Yue had already lost track of what the argument really was, but she was being challenged! And that was unacceptable! But she was also getting really tired, and wanted a flower, and if she left the beach then the COLT could have it, and that would be horrible! HORRIBLE! "So anyways." she said finally, imprtantly. "What's your name anyways, tresspasser."
Who cared if it was a public beach? It was hers!

Rhapsody had also forgotten what the arguement was about abruptly when his mother was brought in. He really didn't want to talk about it and was glad the filly didn't ask more about it. "Why you asking?" he said curiously giving her a sideways look wondering what she was up to. He didn't mean to be rude by it but it just came out that way. "What is yours?"
Yes he had answered her question with two more, but hey, she had been arguing a moment ago and he wasn't sure what she had up her sleeve.
