I thought that I'd start up this thread to find out why people are called what they are on Gaia.
Shadownet and A.R.G.U.S Corp are two rival sides in Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow's online play. I met fellow Gaian Damian_D there. He actually introduced me to Gaia. Now we're bested buds. 4laugh
A Mykal is a creature from Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, an RPG game for the Xbox.
My real name is also Michael, so it ties in quite nicely indeed.
My name describes what I'm into, (So yeah...I'm a nerd sweatdrop ) and it also lets people call me by my real name.

My nickname is the name of a character I roleplay in a game called  Yes I am an RPG freak, I've been playing for over 4 years and this is the character I have become most attached to. My old user name, which shall remain unknown, was just a play on words. People used to ask me if I had accidently spelled one of the words wrong. But I hadn't, I had just used another word that was similar in spelling but meant something entirely different!

I just figure that nothing on this website really matters when taken in the context of real life, so I fashioned my username from that belief.

Goddess is someone who I made up to see if I could catch another guy on this site in a lie a very very long time ago, when I wanted to start an RP with a group of people who would travel to Easter Island to save the eggs from the evil flying monkey men who wear orange poka dot suits.
I kinda' got the name from Oh My Goddess.... I even made up an alternate yahoo account to make it more believeable that I was actually someone else.. goddess101aphordite lol, and I used a different hotmail address of mine for my msn.... truelove1617@hotmail.com..
Needless to say, he wasn't lieing and I blew my cover >_<" And I just liked this avatar more than my other one, so I never reverted back ^_^

Laurana is a character from a series of books called DragonLance... She's the character whom i respect the most... and want to be the most like...
Sometimes you'll see me running around (outside of Gaia) with the name Skie126.. That also comes from the same series...
The whole 126 thing is my trademark..lol... Back when I first started to get online (this was about 8 years ago) I went onto Hotmail to get my first E-mail address. I wanted to use the name kat.. but it was already taken.. So i took the first available number after that.. Which happened to be 126... From there on.. if I couldn't have my first choice of name (for example, there is already a Laurana on Gaia) I would add my 126 to the end of it..... More often than not the name is available.. and it also enables people who know me to recognize me under different names...

my name means who i am its quite simple...jus thing hard wat it means and you'll get it but if you dont kno wat it means that jus highlight wats under this paragraph and the answer will be shown to you.
Korepino means Korean + Filipino i'm korean and filipino it was a name made up from me and my brother not many are korepino just like me and my brother and we have not found any other korepino's that was older then me and my brother so i kept the name and so on life goes on and i kept using it for everything.

Inbetween the two bones. whee
