Over here in Canadia, which is on par with nymmie time now shethinks, instead of meru standard, it has been the new year for approximately 9 hours and 21 minutes. By the time this is posted, it shall probably be 22 minutes.

So far, the new year is looking very... cold.
Toastie went to a new years eve party last night where there was a gift exchange, and she recieved a gift card for CD plus. Also, she managed to grab the bonus gift, exclaming "pretty!" and unwrapping the tin foil.

It was a 'new pair of addidas sports slippers' aka: Wade had wrangled his mother into making what looked like a pair of slippers out of pantyliners, toilet paper, and flower stickers.
Quite ingenious really. Not Toastie's style particularly.
Also, Toastie somehow found herself staying at Aaron's last night, as they got to his house, and Toastie realized that she couldn't legally drive anywhere, as it was after midnight by a fair bit. Lesigh. Not much sleep gained. Toastie needs to take off these icky smelly clothings and put on some jammies. Then she'll feel better... and she needs hot chocolate. She was promised hot chocolate last night, and Aaron failed to produce said beverage. Toastie was not pleased.
