- Being an alien, Bug's true name is, of course, in his native tongue. However, this language is unable to be spoken by species of non-Zurg orientation. Because of this, he has adopted 'Bug' as his moniker while he is living on Gaia.

Species » Zurg
Age » The equivalent to a human in their mid-twenties.
Occupation » Though Bug does not have an official Gaian job, he works nonetheless. Bug is one of a few researchers sent from the Zurg home planet to study and take notes of the culture and lifestyle of the Gaians. His "contract" terms were extended to include the raising of Lewis. As such, Bug receives adequate funding from his superiors.

 [ House ]
» The home of Bug and Lewis is rather small, yet easily large enough for the two people living there. However, this fact may change when a certain dragon comes along. But for now, the house is a two bedroom, one bath, complete with the usual living room, kitchen, and laundry room of any other house. The house was granted to Bug upon his arrival on Gaia, as all Zurg researchers are urged to live as close to possible as any normal Gaian would. The attic has been formed into Bug's "office," the place where Bug goes to report to his home planet about his research upon Gaia. Lewis is not, under any circumstances, allowed in this room. The backyard is spacious, with a portion of it fenced in, assuring that curly-haired toddlers stay safe. There's a small wading pool in the corner for Lewis. Random toys are scattered about the yard. In the other corner, a vegetable garden grows, mostly unattended now. Bug has other things to worry about. Beside the garden, a tree grows. Bug is unsure of the type.
[ Lewis' Room ]
» Lewis' room is age-appropriate, with green-dotted wallpaper and green-stripped carpet. In the upper left corner, there's a small bed, with a blanket that color coordinates. Above the bed is a light with a pull chain, just in case Lewis wakes up at night. At the end of his bed in his clothes drawer. In the upper right hand corner is his toy cabinets, though they are usually bare, their contents strewn about randomly upon the floor. On top of them is a set of children's fairy tale books and a box of tissues. Beside them is the trash can. There's a medium-sized TV in the room, though, surprisingly, Lewis rarely watches it, preferring to play with his toys upon the floor. Though when he does watch it, he usually sprawls out on a square rainbow colored rug. Also, there's a small, plastic green table with two yellow chairs. Lewis will sit here to color or "read" a book, which translates to saying random things as he looks at the pictures.
[ Bug's Room ]
» Unlike Lewis' room, Bug's room is almost void of any other color besides brown. The walls are a pale yellow and the carpet a boring brown. On the carpet is what used to be a brown shag rug, though it seems as if some person once decided that the rug needed a trim. Needless to say, the rug doesn't have much "shag" left. There's a bed, under a wide window, with a blue blanket. Beside this bed there are three tall, large bookcases, all of them filled with various books, ranging from encyclopedias to romance novels. In the upper left corner, there is a PC, where Bug has actually found an addiction to MMORPGs. Beside this is two large drawers, where (unfortunately) keeps his clothes. He has one whole drawer filled with hats. On top of these are various alien technological devices that Bug brought from home, though they are more for entertainment than research. (Pretend that they're really alien devices, okay? XP; )
