I'm sure all of you will have noticed the story on this months donation Item. If not It's the chance to win an M-Vox speaker phone, not for your Av, for your com... The speakers don't even look good. They look like relics from a computer in the 70's!
Am I the only person dissappointed that we have just witnessed Gaia slide down yet another notch of corporate whoredom? Why no cool avatar gift?
I bet they'll be giving out a chance to win a coffee at Starbucks next!
This gives the Cycon guild even more ground to rise up and get rid of corporate Whoredom. Discuss and thank you for listening........

Actually now that I consider it, I retract my previous statement, maybe Gaia really needs the money? And I think you do still get a sealed envelope.....

Even so, it is still whoredom, to a point. Corporate sponsors, ads, to put up a site only costs nine dollars a month, by many standards. Basically, what I see, is Gaia selling out in order to mkae money for it's employee's grubby hands. If they don't want to be creative and make new items, fine. But don't make a givaway for some things that look like they came out of an old history book about the seventies. I thought they had more dignity than that.
