[This obviously does not take place concurrently to the other active threads Nam and Petch are involved in. xd ]

"This tea tastes like piss water."

"What did you say?!"

"You heard me the first time. This is possibly the worst tea in the entire Earth Kingdom."

It was with that short exchange that Petch had managed to instigate a tea house brawl the likes of which this particular small Earth Kingdom village had never seen before. He'd had his oar at the ready when he had made the comments and now found himself in the thick of things. Two of his traveling companions had eagerly jumped into the fight as well and now there were plenty of both rocks and fists being thrown. Petch had already taken a few hard blows which he was finding increasingly difficult to shrug off, yet he continued on anyway. He was pretty sure he tasted some blood in his mouth and supposed his lip was bleeding, but it was mostly an afterthought.

For the time being he was far more concerned with being among the last men standing. He swung his oar wide, coming at the next man he encountered.

The wooden oar was stopped mid swing with a wooden "CLACK" as it collided with a man's arm. Thankfully for the stranger, his arm was shielded by a wooden tonfa, but that didn't stop it from making his arm throb from the impact of Petch's strong swing. What Petch now faced was a man who stood out with his orange robes and extensive blue tattoos. A monk had waded into the fray.

"Ouch," Namkha commented. He was smiling with a hint of excitement that he would later deny. Using a circular motion he tried to force Petch's oar up and out of the way, following it up with a strong blast of wind to his midsection. It was weakened by the use of only one arm, but he hoped it was enough to at least push Petch back.

Petch stumbled backward and tightened his grip on the oar as it threatened to be pulled from his hands. He hadn't noticed the monk at all.

And what the hell was a monk doing in a town like this anyway?! This fight wasn't any of his business.

Petch looked decidedly annoyed by this turn of events. He came at the man again, swinging the oar about wildly before using it like a spear and charging at Namkha. "Mind your own business," he yelled angrily.

For Petch, the best offense.. was a lot of offense.

"To the contrary, it is my business!" Nam objected, dodging the oar but catching the corner of it with his side anyway. He winced through his grin. Once again he swung his arm around to occupy the oar as he began to circle Petch with long, rapid strides. "I was enjoying my time in this tea house and you cut it short. Moments like this are so rare. I think you owe me an apology."

"I was just speaking the truth. Not my fault these people reacted so poorly," Petch growled in annoyance as he once again was forced to tighten his hold on his oar. As Nam moved around him, Petch countered step for step, oar at the ready and clearly looking increasingly annoyed. "Aren't you a little far from home?"

As they continued to move in a circle, Petch saw an opportunity resting innocently undisturbed on one of the tables as men fought around it. Moving quickly, he maneuvered the tip of his oar under the cup of tea and flung it up at Namkha for distraction before lunging forward and swinging the oar around to slash at his legs.

It was a cheap shot, but Petch was hardly one to concern himself with honor during battle.

"I'm seeing the world," Namkha explained as an unseen force blew the teacup far across the room, causing it to shatter against a wall. "Expanding my horiz--"

Petch's distraction had been a success as Nam's feet were taken out from under him. A huge gust of wind caught him before he hit the floor and allowed him to roll out of the blow into a crouching position. There was a brief moment of anger that flashed across his face and he narrowly stopped himself from cursing the other man out. The ankle that had taken the brunt of the force was in more pain than he liked. Nam spun his hands and a ball of concentrated, rapidly moving air formed that he then released at Petch. It skittered across the floor until Nam made a pulling motion that lifted it into the air and towards Petch's chest.

Petch never saw what hit him. But he certainly did feel it as he found himself flying back across the room, only to be stopped when his body collided against a table. That... was going to bruise. He tried to get back up, but his back and legs hurt too much. He felt around for his oar which had left his hands at some point during his brief flight. Finding it, he gripped around the base and pulled it close to himself in the event that Namkha came at him again.

The brawl itself was winding down as quite a few men had already joined Petch on the ground, either knocked out or holding their sides in pain. The few souls left standing were Namkha and Petch's two traveling companions. The two men faced Namkha and one had already kicked the ground, causing a boulder to rest in the air. He was about to punch it in Namkha's direction when what appeared to be local authorities came busting through the tea house door.

"Everybody freeze," the apparent leader instructed as his support quickly bended rock hands to restrain the men left standing.

Nam's hands were snatched along with the other two remaining men, and like them he objected loudly. "No, you have to be mistaken, I was only stepping in to stop him!" He pointed to Petch in the best way he could at the moment: he kicked a remaining teacup at him.

"Calm down, sir. Is that right?" Two of the men walked over to Petch's prone form. At least as a monk Namkha's word held a bit more authority than the two earthbenders being pulled out of the teahouse. Nam was led with a bit more dignity.

"Better safe than sorry." The other guard agreed.
