 She had stopped counting the days. The long, cold winter days and the long, hot summer ones. They were all one. A giant loop, moving from season to season, and then back again. It didn't matter though. Whether it was night, or whether it was day, this one would be found in the same old vicinity where her and the remaining 'family' of hers had stayed.
That family however, seemed to be long gone. It appeared a few months earlier, back when adolescence still raged in the aging wolve's body, but up and left it did, and had it returned? No. It...Oh, the gray warrior. The one she thought would kill her for a meal back when she was still a mere pup, and it was a pup as well. Together they had grown, until one day he was gone. The reasons unknowned.
Hauntings of dreams, images of ghouls, all plagued her mind. Though she was doing well after the gray one had become one with her, her body and sould fell alongside the dusty roads of worn trails. A living corpse she was, only eatting as little as she needed to survive. She couldn't get too fat, or else she'd never run from the predators that just seemed always way to faster for her.
But she couldn't eat too little, or she'd never wake to see another day, and more importantly, her family.
Under a tree, where roots split above the ground, is where the pile of flesh laid. The steady, yet raspy breathing could be seen (and heard, for that matter) from inside the knot.
It was there, the coppery-pink shewolf napped.

Fayina Tao moved quickly through the woods, her spirit slightly uplifted from her runin with chip. Now she would learn to go by the wolf with out a name! She could be free... she could be happy again.
Her nostrils flared, her mind reeled. Some one was around, another wolf. Female if she'd guessed correctly. She moved around several trees, investigating, until she spotted the pink and copper female ahead. It was nice to see someone wih some shade of pink on them.
"Uh... hi.." She said slowly.

Kin didn't even flick an ear on the approach of the other. Did she hear her? Or perhaps, did she just not want to hear her. Tough questions, but in the end, a coppery eye had eased itself open, squinting at the small light, and the shadow form that moved to block it. Another eyelid lifted, trying to get better view.
It was it...It couldn't be. The voice. Oh, the voice was different! More..femenine then his. A soft sigh escaped as she wriggled (though her form was that of an adult, without proper nutrition, she still held a rather petite size) from the tree roots, her tail instantly tucking, already submitting to the shewolf before her.
With a lowered head, and her neck exposed in a submissive posture, the female let out a weak, "don't hurt me." The copper female's tone was already one that wasn't of a harmful speech.
Introductions weren't established or needed, but when the adult shewolf would speak, you'd soon find out her name. "Kin...didn't mean to intrude on these lands if they were yours." She said quietly, wanting to go back in her tree and curl.
Although she had been in this area for sometime, wolves still fought for territory, and a battle could've taken place for one to claim the land she occupied. Even though this one didn't sound of hostility, who could the kid trust anymore?

At this behavier Fayina found herself slinking backwards, almost matching the other's stance. "What are you doing!" She yelped. No one should bow down to her, ever. "I dont own any lands.." She said quietly, eyes wide and confused. "Please don't do that... I was making sure you were alright was all.." Her words were rushed, almost pushed together.

Making sure she was alright? Why...? No one had ever stopped by to help the female before. Why was this was being so..different? "Kin is fine..." She said slowly, although a hint of sadness was relinquished in her voice. "Kin...just doesn't want to get hurt." She was still a pup, really.
With a childhood consisting on wiaiting for your protector to return, it was hard to do anything else. This world was a cruel world. It destroyed anything not worthy of living, even wolves that roamed this here land. Pups could be left motherless, and then have to fend for themselves. The chances of them surving were pretty much zero. Luckily for Kin, she had not needed the food from her mother's belly to live off of.
No, instead, Kin just needed the warmth of another presence. She hated being alone, but if alone is what the world and whatever power beyond the world stuck her with, then that was the life she was to follow.
"Why does Peach Shewolf stop to see if Kin is okay?" The female didn't ask for a name, like other would probably do. Instead, she wanted to know reasons.
