~Erik 100%~ (Ivory-billed Woodpecker)
One good thing about this island was that it rarely was ever a cloudy or rainy day, perfect for trying to fly. Hopping up a tree with his claws (since he no longer had hands to climb with), Erik soon found a large, sturdy branch, which he deemed to be a good launching pad.
Scanning the surrounding treeline, he saw a good target, a nearby tree wasn't too far away, but not too close. He took a deep breath to prepare himself and then spread his recently fully-formed wings. Taking a few cautious steps forward, he then jumped from his perch, flapping his wings as hard as he could, then safely landing on the side of the tree, his sharp claws digging deep into the bark.
Turning his head, he started to laugh happily at his accomplishment. One thing Erik noticed throughout his changes was that his laugh had changed into what sounded like a toy trumpet, which he assumed was what an Ivory-bill sounded like.
Flooding with overconfidence, Erik saw another tree that was a few feet further away than the last. Jumping towards it, he missed his target and crashlanded into some bushes. "Damn..." he said to himself.

Rick's boots crunched on the leafy ground of the jungle that he had decided to take a stroll in. His long coat flowed out behind him. He took a deep breath, and let it out contentedly. Oh yes, it was definitely worth it to come to this island. Free lodging, free access to musical resources, and even a free vaccination! Yes, this was turning out to be a very good day indeed.
From behind him, a few meters away and off to the right, he heard the sound of something VERY large and heavy hitting the bush, and the silence was broken by the sound of snapping twigs and rustling feathers.
"Is there someone there?" He asked in a curious voice as he turned around, his lush hair moving with his motions, unable to pinpoint the location of the sound.

Arising from a nearby bush came a very, very large bird. With it's back towards Rick, unaware of his presence, it shook it's body to get rid of leaves, dirt and other debris. It then extended one it's large wings and turned it's head. Mumbling quietly to himself, Erik pulled at a twig caught in his wing, hissing in pain as he slowly tried to pull it out, but to no avail. Hearing something behind him, turned to Rick and, with his wing still extended, said "Hey, do you think you could give me a hand here?"

"Ah---" He managed to briefly say before shutting himself up. Calm down, this is an island, an exotic one at that. There had to be the odd humongous bird.
Despite what he was telling himself, he didn't believe it.
"What...the hell..." He muttered when it spoke. He closed his eyes briefly, and inhaled deeply, then exhaled, opening his eyes. Nope, it was still there.

Erik calmly repeated himself, "Could you please help me with this, it hurts like hell and I can't pull it out." The woodpecker didn't hear Rick mumbling, as his hearing wasn't as good as it used to be since he didn't have external ears anymore. Walking around the bush he was behind, Rick could now see his scaly legs, sharp claws, short tail and the slightly ripped shorts his was wearing, the only clothing that would fit on him now.

Rick gritted his teeth. First the shenanigan in the Rec Room, and now this. The hallucinations must have been getting worse, and now he was seeing an anthromorphic version of every animal. He beckoned the...creature---closer.
"Let me see it," He calmly said.

Taking a few steps closer towards the man, Erik extended his wing to him.

He had to focus to keep breathing, and reached out with a hand that he had to work hard at to steady. Then, with blurring speed, it grasped the twig, and was out, leaving Rick with the bloody thing in his hand. He stared down at it.

Holding his wing steady, Erik hissed in pain as Rick pulled the wing out, then jumped back when it came out. He folded his wings back into a more comfortable position. "Oh thanks a lot, man, I never would've gotten it out and..." Erik trailed off noticing that this guy looked nervous. "Uh...are you okay, buddy? You seem a little...nervous."

"Let's just say...you're the second," He said as he jammed his hands into his pockets and turned his back to the person, walking away, slowly, his breaths coming in laboriously, his heart beating away, adrenaline racing through his system. Maybe this wasn't so perfect after all...

"The second hallucination that I've had as the result of that flawed vaccination that Dr. Moreau gave me. The first was in the Rec Room, he was a lizard---thorny devil, to be exact. And now you..." He said as he walked.

"Yo! Newb!" Marty called as he jogged over to where Rick and Erik were standing. "Clarify for me please, what exactly it was you were trying to say back inthe rec room." He turned to face Erik and bestowed upon him one of his customary nods of acknoledgement.

His eyes widened as he saw the thorny devil jogging towards him. He rubbed his temples.
"Hallucination 1, meet hallucination 2," He finally said.
