Books collected from many lands line the shelves of a ship's library. They tell of mystery and adventure, freely mixing fact with fiction. Sometimes, if you're lucky, you may discover that fact and fiction are really one and the same. Sometimes a thousand year secret will reach out for you from between the pages of an old and battered book.

"Hey Mirth!"
TheBloodRed had popped seemingly out of nowhere.
"I found this book, I think you would enjoy it."
He hands her a red leatherbound book, its title "The Labyrinth".

Mirth smiles and reaches for the book.
Thanks. This is actually one of my favorite storys.
Mirth examins the decrotive scrollwork on the cover.
Let me know if you ever find Meander's Queen by Robin Zakar.

"Ah yes, I have heard of that. It does not, however, defeat this story. Labyrinth is a classic, one that is even said to be based off of fact!"
He talked like he had proof.
"I suggest you read it again, it is always a delightful story, even if you do not believe it."

Who said I don't believe it? Just because something is not proven doesn't make it untrue. There are people in this world who don't believe in spirits, but here I am.

"Heh heh heh, funny ones like you make the rest of the lowly crew bareable. You seem to be the only one doing something. The others seem to be doing nothing. Only a select few are actually trying to save themselves. If we get caught, we wll surely be removed from existance."
He knew it would be hard to remove the undead, but a simple ritual could do the trick, and there are many artfacts out there that coul do the job.
"We must hurry our recruitment. Sooner or later Gambino will catch on to us..."

Mirth gently shakes her head. Many gaians thought of Gambino as a bit of an oaf. In reality he was a huge threat. Just because he didn't mention vampires didn't mean he was oblivious to their presence.
Agreed... It's hard to man a ship without a good crew, and even harder to find a crew without people noticing.

"Once we get a willing, active crew, we will be setting sail. I do not know how many times I need to say that, but if I do not keep reminding people then we will surely fail..."
He became uneasy.
"Mirth, at least you are here. not even the most powerful of positions here on this ship, yet you are a great help to us all. Thank you."
A smile comes from his face, subtle, but a smile nonetheless.

Mirth looks at him for a bit, then smiles too.
Thanks. I actually enjoy working on the ship, it gives me something to think about. I just try to help out where I can.

I know. I think you make a good captian. You pay attention to your crew, and you notice when someone steps out of line..

That's one name that comes to mind... that poor fool managed to misspell Labyrinth in the hello thread after we'd both spelled it correctly .

Mirth sighs and straightens a book that had fallen on its side. The library desperately needed a good dusting, but that might be dangerous to anyone who actually needed to breath.
The kid wasn't even trying, and when you corrected him he got snippy with you. He's asking for trouble.
