Depends on what I'm trying to play...
If I'm playing rhythm or something and getting a lot of feedback, then I'll turn down the distortion a bit...
If it's for something other than that, like a crazt breakdown, I'll use it with effects.
I'm thinking about getting the DF-2 offa ebay biggrin

I love/hate feedback!
Actually my oppinion is the exact same as full silver warrior, as most people would say I guess! I mean who wants feed back if they're playing the rhythm part? But then again it can be used amazingly. (Thank you slaytalera blaugh )
In my band I have my setting to give loads of feed back, but have my volume rolled down to about half and the tone down to about 8. Then if I want a bit of feed back I can just crank it up!
Like we have one song and I only play two notes in the whole thing. I use delay and my volume pedal to make it sound violin-y in the verse and then for the chorus I just crank up the volume put on some chorus and shake the ******** out of my guitar! twisted You'd think it'd sound boring but it works quite well.
Also this is good for my sound, because if I'm playing a riff on clean I can turn it up and give it a bit of natural distortion. Perfect. smile

Incorrect.
Z-vex fuzz factory produces oscillations similar to controlled feedback.

Video at 2:00.
Matt has one installed in every on of his custom guitars, and uses the 'stab' sparingly.
Watch any live performance of plug in baby and you'll see him turning a knob his guitar creating some wierd feedback noises.

Still easy mistake to make. sweatdrop Do you know what that square thing is he has on some of guitars? You know the little light pad thing he does pick scrapes on. Enter Shikari use one too. (Only not on guitar... I think it's a thing mainly used by DJ's.)

xD
I'd love to have a whammy pedal, just to screw around with. I love them.
And it's a Korg Kaos[sp?] pad. They're a tad expensive, but do some crazy stuff.

Also a nice example of the Nailbomb pickup.
