This topic is going to be tricky and I know it...
There's no wrong answers to this. Just personal opinions. Please try to keep spoiler comments in white letters.
What do you think a good ending for Detective Conan could be? What can happen, who will suffer and who will come out fine? Let everyone know exactly how much of the series you've seen before saying your ideal ending, so we all know how far you've progressed. The endings can be serious or just out of ridiculous fun. Come on, guys! Use your imaginations! There's hundreds of possible endings for the series!

I guess since nobody wants to step up to the task I'll start.
What I've seen: 1-28 in manga. 1-50 in anime
Here we go(highlight the text):
I think that Haibara will find a random clue to the location of the Black Organization and Conan and her decide to try to infiltrate the headquarters. Before they go, Conan manages to get in contact with Heiji and (by accident) Kaito KID. Conan comes to an agreement with KID: Basically, KID will disguise himself as Shinichi while Conan, while he's in the Black Organizations head office, gathers as much info as he can on the gem that causes immortality(I found this out by looking into the other series Kaito KID stars in). After getting into an argument with Heiji, Conan is forced to bring Heiji along. After the threesome manage to get inside the main building, they follow Haibara to the place where Gin and Vodka usually are. After they find them, Conan demands of them the cure for APTX4869. Of course, they refuse. So a fight ensues. Luckily, Heiji stole his fathers' handgun and Conan found sufficient stuff to kick. After the fight is over, Heiji barricades the door so no guards come in. Conan gets shot in his shoulder by Gin, and Haibara was nowhere to be seen. Vodka ends up being knocked out by a tranquilizer gun and Gin, refusing to be captured(especially by a kid), kills himself. Haibara reappears with the APTX cure on an uncripted disk and the three escape through a secret escape route Haibara took.
Back at Agasa's house, Haibara managed to make the cure. She gives the cure to Conan and, while everyone was focused on bandaging Conan's wound, leaves the house for good. Before Conan took the medication Haibara made, he asks where she is. Agasa couldn't answer because he had no idea. Loss of blood made Conan pass out and Agasa had to force the drug down his throat for him to take it. After a day, the drug takes affect and Shinichi regains his old body again. After a week, Shinichi had recovered enough to be able to get up. First thing he did was call Ran. He invites her to the restaurant from before. He then calls his house to get KID to answer. He explains to KID that there's no such thing as a gem that can cause immortality. He tells him where the Black Organizations headquarters is and tells him about the drug that made him shrink, saying that's the closest he'll get to finding immortality. KID thanks him, but informs him that, a few days ago, there was a huge explosion in that building and it was completely destroyed and everybody inside died. Shinichi then thinks about where Haibara could have went after they left the building...
Shinichi visits Ran and tells her that Conan-kun had to go with his parents in another move. Before she could say anything, he gives her his glasses and bowtie "Please tell his friends about it too." he says with a sad voice.
Later that evening, Shinichi and Ran went out to dinner, to the same place that Shinichi took her before. There, they go to the exact same table as before, and after much stuttering, Shinichi proposes to Ran. She obviously accepts. After they graduate high-school, they get married and Ran moves into Shinichi's house. Shinichi gets a job as a detective(big surprise) and soon gets enough money to buy the house from his parents, and they live there for the rest of their lives. The Detective Boys continued to go through elementary school without both Ai and Conan and their detective club soon fell apart without them.

Anyways, what I'd imagine to happen is something along the lines of Ran finding out who Conan is during a super serious and personal case. Ran and Conan work together and somehow find the mysterious people and get Shinichi back to normal and the ending will be all smiley and stuff with some nice ending words or Shinichi jumping into a case happily with Ran or something. rofl

Ran and Conan work together and somehow find the mysterious people and get Shinichi back to normal and the ending will be all smiley and stuff with some nice ending words or Shinichi jumping into a case happily with Ran or something. rofl lol I thought the end would be that simple when I started reading. Now that there are other characters involved, I doubt very much that it's going to be a happy ending. Another thing, they become more involved in personal cases a few volumes in, so if the secret hasn't been found out by now Ran's never gonna know xd .
