Eye of the Tiger

In the middle of a deep and dark forest lives a small clan of people. One day a baby girl is born, to the outside world she is completely normal but her family know differently, and the only way you can see that she is different is in her eyes, one of them is a perfect blue but the other is yellow with a slit for a pupil, it is the eye of the tiger. Her own family pushed her out of her village when she was only thirteen. At the age of sixteen she decided to try and find her way to the village of the tiger people to see if she could become accepted there.
In the village of the tiger people their king has recently died and the young prince has taken the throne and when she wanders into town, tired and hungry it is his duty to deal with the ‘intruder.’

Appearance: She is about 5’5 and weighs nine stone. She has hair that falls to hips and it is black as coal. Her skin in pale and she is slender in build. One of her eyes is a crystal blue but the other is like a tigers, this one if hidden behind her fringe that swoops from one side of her face over to the other.
Personality: Shy and quiet she has lived her whole life keeping her head down and keeping out of the way, she is also a little clumsy and she loves to read as much as she can.
History: She was driven out of her hometown after they found out about her having the eye of the tiger. She fled to the Kingdome of the tiger people hoping that there she would be accepted.

Appearance: He's very tall and muscular, his skin is actually fur with galant black stripes against orange, frosted with white highlights. his body structure is more human than animal he walks on two legs and his face is human but he has tiger eyes and his finger have large claws and he has a tail and cat ears. althoguh he hardly ever shouts loud enough for you to notice but he also has sharp cat like teeth.
history: he lived mostly in one room his entire life and only until recently has the public even been able to see him. After his fathers death he was named cheif of the tiger tribe and has been doing so very well, although he has yet to take a wife (customary for most young men around 16-17) he has conquered much of the surrounding territory for the tiger-tribe and most of the people are more than pleased with his rule.
personality: he is very sharp of wit and can, to a certain degree, anticipate others' moves and or responses so he doesn't like to waste time with chit chat. he's not impatient but he has his limits and he is not passive at all, he is not very good at all with people although he can hold his own infront of a crowd. He is lonely but doesn't understand women and doesn't feel like taking that kind of a chance.

Rex had been having a nice day, the sun was out and he'd finished the work he needed to do earlier, at present he was laying in the sunniest spot of his grand house. This is until somone banged noisily on the door to the small sun room full of tropical plants and mist, Rex sat up immediatly the relaxation drainign from him, if someone was going to disturd his potential nap, it meant buisness.

Rex openned the door and his head guard Victor bowed hastily, and still stood for a moment, Rex waved slightly and he took it as permisson to speak, "My Lord, and outsider has come to the village, and those who saw her say she was headed here.." Rex was speachless for a moment,
"A human woman made it here alone..?!" he clarified, Victor nodded empathizing with his shock, Rex prinched the bridge of his nose in thought
he waved to Victor and said "Bring her to the great hall once the healers are done with her." Victor bowed curtly and left at a speedy walk to obey his orders, Rex stepped out of his sun room and walked out into the hallway no longer relaxed in any way.

As Rex raced through the great hallways and corridors of his home he finally burst through the door to his privet chambers and an embarrased servant girl who'd been watering the large tree that grew up through the roof of this room scrurried out. Rex closed the door behind her and leapt to the closte door ripping the robe that had hung around his middle off to don a very extravegant outfit of armour. A heavy black fabriced loincloth that almost dragged the floor was first followed by an extravegant belt and much more. He slipped gold earrings into his pointed ears and many black hide bands. in completion to his outfit he gripped his great bejewled spear like sceptor and strode from the room, laden with the elaborate garb, into the great hall to sit upon his throne as last minute adjustments were being made to the decor by frantic servants.

Rex seethed silently in his chair, today had such promise.. He stood and stepped from his elevated throne slowly to extend the point on hi sceptor below her chin and bring her to face him. It was this point finally that he understood even slightly why she wanted to get here so badly. He simply stared at her for a moment before he aksed in a harsh voice that would do his old man proud. "Did you or did you not know that you were tresspassing?"

Rex just about popped a vein, realizing with his all too sensetive ears the very blatant snobby tone. He smiled devilishy and said "Aww, well thats too bad becuase wether or not you knew, is not my problem." He with drew his sceptor and continued "However you being here is my problem." he took a step closer to her and said "You seemed very intent on getting here, but i'll give you one chance and only one to leave, once a part of this civilization you can't back out, unless you're dead." He backed up and awaited her answer not truly dreading either one.

He scowled at her as she stood defiantly, "Well then, i do hope you learn your place quickly, or you will be taught the hard way, sow." Without taking his golden eyes from hers he said "Victor, provide arrangements for our new member."

Rex was almost amused at her anger and delibratly didn't even flinch as she raised her hand to strike him. He laughed in spite of himself, Victor would take care of her for now, but he had a feeling that he would not see the end of her.
Victor waited as she bathed and changed wondering where to put her in the community, Rex would not be pleased if he were to elslave her but servitude was definitly something she needed... it didn't take him long to decide that she would be working in the palace. Despite his love and loyalty to their king he knew how constant solitude would affect someone and did not want such an unfortunate fate to befall the best king their nation had ever seen, and besides it would be hilarious.
