ive been thinking which songs would be good for a choral arrangement. so far the only songs i can think of are bohemian rhapsody(Queen), another brick in the wall(pink floyd), schools out(alice cooper), the beatles, and come sail away(styx). what do you guys think would be good rock songs that could be choral arrangements.

How about rock songs that are already at least partially in choral arrangements?
Like, a lot of Nightwish's stuff and some Epica. Epica's choral parts are awesome. surprised

in my opinion, there are very few rock songs that would make good choral pieces. our music library has "bohemian rhapsody" but like any good rock song they have to cut crap out and change it to something stupid. even stuff from "grease" had to be changed. Rock songs into choir pieces usually (say 98% of the time) ends in pain and lameness.

choral arrangements of rock songs are awsome, they nee to have the right touch and the right song to be arranged. some are just best left alone.

"All My Love" by Led Zeppelin would be pretty good...I think...So would "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You." That would make a good multi-parter.

Our choir in 9th grade did Bohemian Rapsody. it was awesome. I loved it too. Since I was a soprano, I did the Galileo, and that was awesome!

ugh, I'm sorry, I know that some songs can be made into great choral arrangements, and some choirs can do them amazingly, but my experience with them was rather... unpleasant. My middle school choir teacher made us sing rock songs that had been set to choral music because he thought we would enjoy them better, unfortunately, he never bothered to update his collection, so we sang songs like "Yo Mama Don't Dance". stare It was bad. We all hated it.
