History

Poverty, it is a hand that reaches out and touches us all we cannot escape it but merely vacation for it's icy grip. Alberto had been a pickpocket since he was 13 years old, he was flipping wallets from tourists for a long time. At 14 he picked up a partner in crime, Orfi. They were brothers from different mothers and the creators of the swoop and swipe. But Alberto's mom Mima had a drinking problem and died when he was 15. For three years Alberto dove headfirst into his pickpocketing day and night non-stop.


When he turned 18 Alberto and Orfi were doing a routine but got caught by some smarter than usual tourists. Alberto and Orfi ran but decided to split up along the way. Orfi got caught by the tourists and beaten within an inch of his life, the tourist shot both his kneecaps and were never caught. First his mom and now Orfi, Alberto was fed up he went straight. He began to become more seclusive and cold, he only left the house for work and occassionaly to visit Orfi.

In all his spare time he began talking to himself and eventually developed a second personality, this side of him was a more refined version of himself. He was the complete opposite of what Alberto had become he was comical, daring, mean, manipulative and quite a bit of a bookworm. But he came out in the most unexpected time, it took a long time for Alberto to realize that he had another personality. On a routine day of work a man made Alberto extremely angry, soon Alberto was spitting out words he didnt even know the meaning of and making fun of his tie and his hairpiece.

Alberto realized that he was different but right now he didnt know what, even Orfi said so and he went to check with the local doctor. The doctor told him that he had MPD (multiple personality disorder). Alberto was in shock but he adjusted over time to the new personality and eventually learned to keep it in check by his ninteenth birthday.
