Sky blue eyes were closed behind a blindfold that would never be removed. The large god was half asleep, his mind elswhere as he was settled down to watch his cubs; all 10 of them spread all over the savannah at that moment. It was the only way he could keep track of them, was for him to fall into this strange halfsleep to pay attention that much better. ninja

The dark lioness walked along, looking for some way to get out of the blistering heat. It didn't help that her fur was black eaither. She sighed as she scanned the horrizon with her ruby eyes only to see something moving. Her ears priked as she heard the sound of running water.
She quickly started to run to the sound, her paws hitting the ground as small dust clouds gathered around them, dirtying them. She reached the river, and smiled at her reflection in the water.
She lowered her head and started to lap up the cool refreshing water with her long pink tongue. She at up and sighed as the liquid slid down her throught.

A sigh met his white ears and they swivled to the side as the large god stood up and peered over to see a lioness before him. Her colors were quite remarkable, like nothing he'd ever seen before really. Most lions didn't stand out on the savannah like that so his eyes shimmered for a moment and he smiled.
"Hello cousin." His resonating voice called out in a kind way, his eyes blinking away the remains of his half sleep as his wings spread and cracked. "What brings one so dark out onto the savannah. You would think to find someone like you traveling with the moon."
The god settled down so that his large wings covered his heiroglyphic curse markings that marred his snow white fur so.

Her eyes met the snow colored lion as she shifted her spot to sit looking at him. She noted his wings and wondered why a lion like him would have wings like that when they normaly would reside on foul.
"One would think." She said with a slight chuckel. "I'm not sure." She said as she looked up to the sun, her voice soft and calm. "The night make me feel home." She said as she looked back to him. "I can't help but fall asleep knowing that I'm safe under the moonight." She laughed a little. "Guess that sounds silly doesen't it?" She asked. her tail swaying lightly behind her.

"Hardly. I can understand wishing to sleep under the moon as it's one of my friends. I usually stay up and converse with it and the stars though." The god smiled unarmingly at the female before him. Despite the obvious difference in their size Athrun didn't even care, his body language calm and cool compared to most gods.
Flicking his wings once more he stood up slowly and walked over to the little river to dip his muzzle down into the water for a drink. He'd ben half asleep for hours and it had left his throat dry and chapped. The blindfold suddenly was wet when a fish flapped its tail and sent water spraying up against Athrun's face. His laugh broke out over the savannah as the god shook his head at the predicament.
"Fish."

She watched him move, and looked over to all the other cubs that were scattered around the area. She heard the splash and looked back to the white lion and laughed when he got wet.
"You have to watch out for those things." She said, her laugh full of joy. "Weather your eating them or not, they'll still come to haunt you." She said as she continued to laugh. "I'm Jinamizi." She said as her ruby eyes looked back to the cubs. "Are they all yours?" She asked, looking back up to him.

"Heheh. Yes, they're a ragtag bunch aren't they? I adopt cubs and youngsters with no home. I have more spread out across the savannah that I watch when I go into a trance. They need someone to watch them sometimes." Athrun explained to the female, a smile on his muzzle as he batted back playfully at the fish to show he forgave it. It was one of the weaknesses he had, that he couldn't see little ones wander around by themselves.
Glancing back over to her as he swiped at his muzzle with a white paw, Athrun listened to the jangling of his bangles on his wings and hind legs. It was a rarity for him to be accepted for anything considering his realm. Though generally he hid his realm and god status from mortal lions until he couldn't any longer.

She looked at him with awe. "You have more?" She asked, then heard his explination. "That makes sence." She said and looked over to the cubs. "That's very generous of you." her expression softened. "To take in those in need." Her ears twitched.
"Wait, trance?" She gave him a confused look. "What do you mean? How can you see all of your cubs?" She asked as he played with the fish. "Only thing I see when I close my eyes is darkness." She smirked.

"I just dislike seeing cubs go around by themselves without a family. Every child deserves a family." Athrun responded simply, a fatherly smile on his muzzle as he reclined onto one hip with a grin.
"A trance is simply where I lax into a state to watch them all. I close my eyes and concentrate on their image and can see what they're doing and check if they're okay. As a god it's just one power, I use it the most often however."

She smiled when he mentioned the cubs status. "They do deserve a family." She said as she remembered her days of wondering around the land. She quickly shook it from her mind, not wanting to dwel on her past.
She looked up to him with wide eyes. "A god?" She asked, not quite sure what he ment. "I've never heard of them before." She said as she looked back to the water and took another drink, her skin hot from the suns rays.
