I was playing an acoustic bass guitar in the store and it sounded awsome. But i wanna know what you guy's think of acoustic's and if you guy's know of any cheap but really good one's.....

i like acoustic basses, a good one for not so much green is michael kelly, find a good place like guitar center where you can talk um down and you've got a great deal.

I love playing acoustic bass. I'm saving up for one now. And as for price, they're usually pretty expensive, but keep your eyes open on garage sales and such. My old bass teacher found an old acoustic bass at a garage sale for 50 bucks. He resold it for almost 800 online.

they sound great for solo gigs or just playing around,butnot as a backing instument for a band unless its all acoustic stuff

Great if you have an acoustic set. Otherwise go for a regular bass. I need one myself because my band is gonna be hitting up cafes in the future, along with our other venues.

Escaflowne_11 Great if you have an acoustic set. Otherwise go for a regular bass. I need one myself because my band is gonna be hitting up cafes in the future, along with our other venues. all over ebay, there are store's selling acoustic's for 50 to 70 dollar's. I hate ebay though, you can't ever feel the basses put the acoustics at music store's are like 350.

Heh... It would be lucky if I was already in a signed band, and made a profit for what I love. For now Im just a web designer/Bass teacher. I dont get an amazing pay, but its a pay all right!
