Seriously . . . brenji is gone for a week on personal matters, and the whole DTAAY collapses. sweatdrop
Migration and pagnation has basically locked the DTAAY thread.
Can't post in the auction thread anymore.
Cubi's 10% Honey thread is lost amiss the confusion . . .
brenji would just like to know . . . Where has everybody gone? sweatdrop

Maybe it would be best, almost, to move the center of the action to the guild, so to speak..? ^^;; Since the thread will never be the same again anyway, after moving from forum to forum so many times. And now having to share with similar threads, of course :--O
What if we just stayed here and only made a thread in the outside world when needed, like, auctions and such?
I wager that we'd still keep getting new people, because we're relatively visible - for example, the rpg forum nowadays... saa-a.
But seeing how active the guild is at the moment... rofl

I think Kuu has a point. If we stay here then we can't get bugged by mods saying we chat too much.. And we can still draw.. And roleplay.. And everything! 3nodding

Though I suppose that could be solved with some advertising in the many other DTAAY topics floating around - for the purpose of uniting gaians all around Gaia. Also with some new structuring......

Kind of agree that DTAAY will never be the same.
After all, we're about . . . wait. More than a year old now, I believe.
Lots of things happen. Change is expected.
Still, I often grow nostalgic for the days of old.
Personally, I'd like to revive the DTAAY. And what better time than during summer?
In any case, for now, I agree that DTAAY should be moved to the guild until the original thread is done with migration and pagnation.

Well, a pro to moving into the guild and staying in the guild is we wouldn't have to worry about archiving or migration or pagnation since the guilds are techincally seperate from the rest of the forums.
But, then again, yes. We wouldn't have as much fresh meat. And . . . it's just not going to be the same. (sigh)
We should make a pro and con list. xd

I kind have to agree with Laz and Bren on this one. Whereas I can see the benefits of having DTAAY stationed here, we'd dwindle to a dying breed if we didn't have the occational new edition and the random passer-bys every sou often...

I like this idea... especially considering that DTAAY always gets screwed over in these migrations, and fixes and whatnot seeing as it is so large. ><;
So as far as a listy goes...
Pros Cons
-No more wacky - Less fresh Meat
thread killing
problems -More difficultly getting members?
-All our lovely
arts in one place
-Little to no MOD
intervention
I think it's a good idea myself. If you think about it we are rather self contained, and it isn't all that often that we get people who stay until they become vetrens. Besides, we could always have banners and advertise?
