After finding one horse interesting, Tohru Honda decided it was time she started to explore more of the area. This land seemed very friendly. She couldn't wait to meet more of them, no matter how strange they seemed to her.
She figured she'd seem strange to them as well. Seeing the reaction from the other soquili about seeing the clothing she had on. Though, they seemed strange to her too. She couldn't think about runing around with out clothed. Though, she wondered how that felt.

Wondering out of the woods Xantir stretched and pulled a few pine needles out of his mane. Sleeping away from other horses kept him happy but it was also fairly uncomfortable sleeping on pine needles for a blanket. Grumbling a little bit he walked off to find a bit of water from the village. He didn't really want to deal with anyone right now, they all seemed to expect something special of him and he was nothing of the sort.
Approaching the village he could see the water flowing in the stream. He chuckled and changed his path for the stream water. He had expected it to be frozen but this worked so much better for him. Bowing by the water he dipped his tan muzzle into the icy water and took a few gulps trying to ignore the feeling that someone was approaching. It didn't work. He lifted his head and choked seeing a Soquili clothed in two-legger clothes. "What are you doing?"

Tohru looked around to see another soquili. The stallion seemed surprised. She would have to get use to those reactions. She was sure they'd pass soon enough.
She stood there for a second, then remembered the question he asked. "Oh.. Umm..." She couldn't find her words at first. "I... Was just exploring." She finally said. Kyo had always said how stupid she seemed when she was like that. She blushed lightly from embarrassment.

"N-not that..." He mumbled straightening up staring at the mare. She was, nuts to be running around like that. Humans wore clothes to keep warm but something so short wouldn't do anything. "I don't care why you're out here. I want to know why you are wearing those! It's not right." He stepped closer to her examining her more closely.
She looked like she'd be a perfectly decent mare under all the junk she was wearing. "These ribbons...they get in the way don't they? Why don't you take them off? Actually..."he huffed circling her a bit before stopping rather angrily. "Why don't you take all this stuff off! It must be useless." He shook his head. Know stallion would wear human clothes like she was and he was pretty sure most mares didn't either.

Tohru didn't know what to do at first. She took a step back. He was angry at her for wearing these? Her eyes where wide. "No... They.... they don't...." She didn't know what to say. Slightly confused of his anger.

He side tossing his head, so she didn't seem to realize how inappropriate her choice was to wear those. Well, he figured someone would have to explain it to her and that person would have to be him. However, mares were different. He wasn't used to them they were, delicate and judging by her reaction to him she was more so then most. He needed a different approach then just flat out telling her.
"Those clothes, they are meant for humans, not for horses. You shouldn't be wearing them." He sighed wanting to beat his head over a rock. He also wanted to vomit. He liked mares as much as the next guy but this was just infuriating.

She blinked. "Oh... I really don't see a problem with wearing them.." Everyone she lived with had them as well. Why did he care what she looked like anyways?
She blushed more from more embarrassment. Perhaps it was best if she didn't wear these when she went exploring? Though she had no clue how to get them off. She'd never really thought about it.

"It's just not normal..." Again he was beating him self with a mental rock. "You know what...why don't we just stop! I can't keep this up!!! You're too hard to talk to!" At this point the rock was no longer imaginary but a small bolder beside the stream. He was almost positive that she'd be a bit mad at that but what could she do? She was wearing human clothes and kept turning weird. Those weren't what you'd call strong characteristics.

Her eyes got wide again. "What are you doing? You'll hurt yourself!" She said troting to where he was. She flicked her long tail. She looked at her, and giggled. She realized she must look like a huge fool to others around here.
"It might night be normal, but it's what I've been use to. My mother wanted me to and after she died." she nodded.

"Yes...and that would be the point..." He grumbled ignoring the slight blood trickle running down his head. The pain was worth it, so very worth it until she started talking. Her mother was dead. Were the clothes her mother's dying wish or something? It was a strange request but he supposed he could relate to the feeling. "Your mother...is dead?" He asked straightening to look her in the eye.
He hadn't known his mother, he hadn't wanted to. She had been cruel. The one who had taken the lives of many creatures. She had wanted to kill him he was sure. Who wouldn't when you were so different from everyone else in your world?

"Mhmm." she nodded. "She did when I was little." she looked a bit sad but still held a smile. "the only thing I have really to remember her by is these and the things she tought me"
She looked at his head. "Oh my god your bleeding!" She sat there for a second, staring before looking around to grab something. What was good to use to stop bleeding. She started to panic for a second. Then she grabed a leave from a near by bush.
She didn't know how she was going to stop the bleeding this way. It'd help alot if she wasn't shorter then him.

Xantir shook his head knocking the leaf away. "Yes, I'm bleeding. Don't worry about it. It's pain everyone deals with." He didn't know what that girl was thinking. Leaves would do nothing to help healing, more then likely they'd get him infected and all he needed was a little time for such a tiny cut.
"Did your mother teach you anything?" He asked looking into the melting ice water. So it was a little worse then he had thought but nothing to worry over. "Those bushes...things use those as a restroom because there is no food to be found on them. The bacteria would do me more harm then good."

She felt stupid and dropped the leave. Blushing again. "Sorry.. I was just trying to help." She looked to the ground again. She was useless sometimes. She smiled.
" I'm sure something eats them. Like bugs." She nodded.

Xantir stared at her. Was she stupid? Of course bugs ate them but bugs didn't care. He opened his mouth to voice this then promptly shut it remembering he was dealing with a mare here. A strange and confused mare but a female none-the-less. "I'm sure they do..." He huffed faking a smile telling him self over and over again that this was how he was supposed to act.
"So, you said were exploring..." He murmured trying to get away from anymore of her strange outbursts. "Were you looking for any place special or just roaming the lands?"
