People say it's bad luck to read for yourself but it's the best way to learn.
I haven't had any problem with bad luck in reading for myself. I'm just saying...
sweatdrop But the best thing for you to do, insane_muka, is to find a deck that you're drawn to, and it will help you as long as you practice with it. You don't necessarily need to learn spreads, but there is the three-card spread which is past, present, and future, and a five-card one whereit's basically an extension of the three-card spread. You can declare a card to mean anything. Like when you lay it down you can say, 'This is how stable my relationship with my parents is,' or ,'This is the outcome.'
You can look up more spreads online. When you read a card, just read it as if you were interpretting art, or making a story out of the picture. Follow your gut for now, and you'll learn your deck more easily.
