I'm curious: Is it okay if I run a guild avi contest once every other week? Free for guild members to enter, but they get gold as a prize, or a random item of their choice equal to or less then the gold prize?
And if so, what would be the rules? A theme? Or just anything goes? ^___^

Yes you are totally free to do so! In fact, I'd incourage it if I thought my other mods might actually do it, lmao. The rules would be totally up to you, unless you want the guild to sponsor it (meaning to give the prizes) If you do want the Guild to sponsor it, it would still be pretty much up to you as long as you chose to be the 'runner' of said avi contest. You can either choose to have people enter their own avi, or make one at tektek.org (it gives people more of an even playing field too) Still, you want to get people to know about it, ne? If you want me to notify everyone on my 'regulars' list (that is people who've come in the last 2 months, lmao) I will. but you have to tell me all of your rules before hand.

What about this:
+ Must be a member of the guild for a week.
+ Use tektek to make a avi based on a theme (ie, color or item)
+ 10 people per contest
+ Winner gets 500g, second gets 200g, and third gets 100g
+ Winner of the PREVIOUS week cannot enter the next one (ie, say EWS won this week...next avi contest, she can't but the one after that she can)
+ Follow ToS of Gaia and don't put down other's
+ Assistance of the contest (ie, only people helping run it) cannot enter.
+ Post a suggestion for the guild (even if it simple like "more contests") when entering your image.
^^ I can probably afford to run it. I figure this might help make the guild more active and such ^___^

You could have people explain there entry avi in there post too. Like where the idea came from, lol.
