'Kukwee!" The mild chirp from the smal dragon once more broke the silence. That ever present little noise maker was already managing to grate on the teacher's nerves. Which likely wasn't the best of things for right before a class or sorts. Alas, perhaps it didn't matter.
A quick glance to the list said he only had a few minutes to wait before the next appointment, a giraffe this time, which also stood to say Bandit, as Revon named him, would soon have something to distract him.
The little black dragon peeked up from where he was attempt to chew a cottonswab to deaf on the counter as if his name had actually been said, then went right back to his task. For it certainly had to be more important than the things Haruki was doing. Far more important than lining things up on a little tray.

There was a knock on the door before a woman with short midnight black hair with streaks of red going threw it. Her percing sparkling in the bright artficale office light. "Is this where the doctor checkup shot thing is?"
A dark sandyblonde mowhawke was visable before the girreffe boys face. he grinned as he looked around the office fascnated by all the little dohikeys that he saw. "wow..." he said breathless. The tall boy looked older then what his chart said he was.

"KWEE!" THUNK! The pair might have heard a brief pause between the two noises when they'd knocked on the door. As it wasopened the small creature had to shuffle slightly from where it had landed after crashing into the door. Not the smartest dragon on the block. Not that D-Corp ad advertised them to be brilliant.
Haruki merely glanced at the pair over his shoulder, not the least concerned over the dragons well being. He did that a lot obviously. "This is the place, mind not stepping on Bandit while you come in." The creatures name of course. The child didn't exactly look quite right for what the appointment sheet had him as, but he'd long since learned to stop judging children by appearance. The kids tended to all come out oddly. He knew that about as well as anyone on staff.
Bandit shuffled a few steps before testing his wings and giving a happy little squeak. Then up into the air to land on the first available head. Which ended up being Kale's. If there was one thing the small black and white dragon seemed to adore it was hair. So without bothering to wait for a reaction he'd plopped down and begun trying to dig his way at it a bit. Obviously wanting a nest of sorts. At least he was only about five inches long. Not too heavy yet.
Great, well maybe that pest would keep the kid distracted. That was all the man could think of as he watched the beast once more drag himself into the center of things. Yep, just fabulous. "If you'll have a seat off to the side ma'am." He first directed the woman before glancing at the boy. "And you, if you'd please sit on the table over there we can get started."

Kale and Emer staired at the baby dragon for a second after it crashed landed, watching it until they where both sure it was okay. When the doctor gave his instructions, Emer waved her hand, shooing him towareds the table as she sat in one of the extra chairs.
Kale grinned happily at the doctor as he quickly and farely easily climbed up onto the exame table, swinging his feet/hooves (also called fooves) back and forth as he leaned back. He wore his favorite shirt ever, the Kale in leet one, and his bondage pants, the silver hoop in his ear and the red stoned stud in his nose sparkling in the light. "Hi Mr. Doctor. Momma says you have to look at me to make sure I am growing right. Something about some medcian to keep me healthy too, but she didn't say to much about that. So watcha going to do first?" The rush of words came toppling out landing one on top of the other as he leaned back watching the Doctor prepare what he needed for the examenation.

Ah, always a good sign when they obeyed without question. Or at least not immediate question. There was soon the assault of drabble regarding what his mother had mentioned. The usual things of course. What this was about. Basic things. "Yes, this is to ensure your good health." Though the last question was a bit odd. There really was only one part to the whole thing, vaccinations. In short, shots.
He finished lining up the tray before turning to eye the dragon who tried to look innocent from where he was sitting. Both were aware that the teacher was less than thrilled with Bandit's habit of nesting in any set of hair he could get, so the little beast knew what was meant with the look. A minor squeek and the little creature shuffled it's paws before being plucked up after the tray was set down. A moment later the black and white dragon found itself plopped on the teacher's shoulder where it couldn't cause too much trouble.
"You will be getting a set of vaccinations in order to prevent future illness. That is the purpose of your visit today." He mentioned it with barely a glance to the boy. He was more concerned with getting a cottonswab ready to disinfect the area so they could begin.

Kale's eyebrows lifted as he tilted his head intreasted in what the doctor was doing. "Why are you putting that stuff on the cotton ball thingy? Vacc-nation?" He stumbled slightely over the big word. "How do you give those? WHat kind of dragon is that? Do you do this alot?" He grinned as he waited to see what the Doctor was going to do.

Oh, yes. Plenty of classic questions. "It's a kind of shot designed to prevent certain viruses. It helps your body build up an immunity to protect it. The cotton swamp is to steralize the area for the shot." Prodecure was the same as usual. Taking the kids arm and carefully cleaning up the area. That done he set the swab aside before picking up the first needle.
"Bandit is of no specific breed. He's simply a minitature dragon. He's not too bright though, as you've likely noticed." That said he shifted and took Kale's arm in his free hand preparing to give him the first shot.

Kale giggled at the comment of the dragon not being to bright, "I have a dragon. He hasn't hatched yet though. He is going to be a wayvern. Mom seems to worry about it, but she won't tell me why. She says it's no big deal then start talking to herself....." The boy's voice was cut off when the doctor stuck him with the needel his eyes going huge and his ears quivering but he remaind very still.

Of course he had a dragon. They all did. Why wouldn't he, a teacher, know that? And most parents wouldn't be entirely pleased about having a dragon in the house, that was common sense. Children just lacked an understanding for. Such trouble. "I'm aware, it's on your chart."
The first shot was given without too much trouble. Sure the child panicked a bit, but he didn't move. Which was good, moving only made it worse. First needle done he switched to the second, half glancing at the child. "See, it doesn't hurt." Hopefully the boy would agree and make this much easier. He quickly moved to deal with the second shot, fully intending to just go through the rest so long as there wasn't any trouble.

Kale did't move a single muscle as the doctor moved quickly threw the shots. The quick needel pricks keeping the normally very talkitive boy absolutely silent. The boy was so quite Emer leaned forward a bit with a look of concern on her face. Kale smiled barvely at his Mom and nodded when the doctor spoke. "This hurt more.." He pointed to the nose ring.

It didn't take long for him to finish up the last shot with the boy behaving. Before long he was setting the last needle aside and bandaging up the boy's arm to prevent an infection. "All done."
Perhaps it was a minor blessing the child was into... such odd things. He had an hands off approach when raising the raven in his care, but that was one thing he'd have refused. Piercings seemed so crude in his opinion, such a silly behavior. "You're free to leave at any time. Thank you for coming in." That said he turned and picked up the tray he'd been setting the shots on to clean up.
