.::Finding a New You::.
Chipmunk and Amelie

Remove
Chip was odd, he had no friends as it seemed no one could stick around him long enough without being freaked out by the way he spoke. He had recently met a fox who seemed to stay with him on and off but that was more because the pity it felt for the lone wolf.

He strangely coloured wolf had somehow wandered into a packs land without knowing. He was whining as he walked, the voices that haunted him hurt his head too much and he wished to be free of them. He looked around before laying dead moving his paws to try and cover his ears.

The voices continued to argue in his head till Chip let out a long wailing howl, it wasn't something that he would normally do but it hurt him too much.

Werewolf
As it was- Ryukkii was no help to the seeress when it came to counsel. Disappointed, the lean silver wolf slowly crossed the pathways back into her mate’s lands, her ears back and her blank eyes staring as she slowly pondered the meaning of her dreams. Peculiar things-... but she wished Ryukkii would listen to her more. She didn’t seem to care. Not that this was a new development, and Phib would be furious to find her once again hanging around his sister in law. But despite all the things she’d done, Amélie forgave her, and she respected her intelligence. But all Ryukkii had said seemed to imply she knew, and didn’t care enough to tell her.

Amélie sucked in a breath, salty air flooding her nostrils. It was troubling, but... perhaps she had time to think on it yet. Winter was barely done with it’s main thrust, and the ground was icy as she hobbled over it. Everything was grey, and she was sad to feel the color go. She used the slight tremor of life to navigate her way through the forest. But in winter, life was scarce- and she moved more clumsily then ever.

About halfway back to the den Phib and her shared, the slight creature became aware of an odd, jarring sensation in the back of her mind. Her white ears perked and she glanced about. Again, the static. But this time, she heard thoughts. But the thoughts...they were not right.

Cautiously, she stalked a bit, hobbling about dumbly until she came about the form of a lone wolf nervously skirting about the territory. Such a broken mind! Her heart panged with sorrow. “Hello there,” Amélie spoke, approaching the other carefully.

Remove
His head shot up as an unusual voice hit his ears. He looked at her and whined a little not wanting to open his mouth as he knew what came out of it each time he did. Instead he whined a little more while cursing the other voices in his head.

He looked up to her, she looked so pure in front of him, tiliting his head a little he smiled and dared to open his mouth to speak.

"H...Hello." He shut his mouth quickly and shook his head. It sometimes helped move the voices around a little.

Werewolf
Amélie flattened her ears, the echoing sounds of him cursing himself in his mind running along her brow and down her muzzle. Gently, the end of her tail swayed as she approached, making sure he did not think she was approaching out of aggression. He finally spoke- but when he did, he cut his voice off so quickly she could hardly register. Was he afraid of what he might say?

Hesitantly, she gently walked alongside him, and sniffed delicately at his neck and shoulder. “Hello,” She repeated softly. “I’m Amélie- who are you?” Her own mind lightly pulsed as she walked around him. An echo...

Remove
Chip's ears flattened on his head and he gulped before opening his mouth.

"I am..."

"A Chipmunk, an insane one too!"

"Yeah dont talk to it, its pretty rubbish!"

Chip whined again, clenching his maw shut. He shouldn't open his mouth it always ended up so bad. In his mind he was apologizing and crying. He hated himself.

Werewolf
The jarring words hit Amélie’s ears like a slap, and she flinched for a moment, before sinking her head down and lightly rubbing it against his, the end of her tail gently weaving back and forth. “It’s alright. I can understand you. It is good to meet you, Chipmunk.” She spoke. “You are not rubbish at all.”

Her head pulsed, and she lightly poked around. Poor mind! So flooded with wild thought. Was it because of his blood? A father to a son? She wondered idly, and sat herself down. This time- she addressed him directly. It was something she rarely did, but she hoped it would relax him.

It is hard, not having control of your mind,” She echoed, folding her ears. “But it will be alright.”

Remove
He whined a little more but stopped as she spoke to him. He smiled and watched her closely.

He looked at her as the final words she spoke hit him. He tilted his head looking confused and all the voices in his head seemed to stop for a minute or two.

He just looked confused not finding any words to explain it. He was trying to figure out how she knew what it was like, how he had heard her and how she knew of his mental problems.

"B..but.." He couldn't think of anything to say. His mind was too clouded to think clearly
.

Werewolf
Amélie lowered her eyes, and took a step aside. Could she soothe his mind somewhat to let him speak? Gently, she poked about, trying to untangle the threads of a mind like she had once done with Whisper’s. “It’s alright.” She soothed again. “I understand.” What did she understand? Nothing of it was coherent but... she felt the connection. “Sometimes we mistake our gifts for troubles. Can you hear me better like this?” She asked, fiddling softly.

Where do you come from?”

Remove
Gifts? He was still confused but his head was becomming a little lighter, the voices were still there but yet they seemed to be fading or going to the back of his mind where he couldn't reach them. It had been a long time since he had felt like this.

"What gifts?" He spoke. Without the other voices hurting him. He jumped up suddenly his tail moving at a strangly fast speed behind him.

"I come from a waterfall, I was born underneath it with my sisters, my mum is River and my father Diego. Mum said dad poisened my mind and she got me away from him but then all these voices, what did you do?" He looked at her suspiciously. It had been a while since he had been able to think and now he could he feared her a little, she had helped him!

Werewolf
Amélie’s ears perked up with delight. Yes, yes- that was right. She could remember it now, even though the memories were not her own. River and Diego- things from long ago. She saw the waterfall clearly as Chip once had, and set it aside in her mind. “I can hold them back a bit.” Amélie smiled. “But, you will have to learn to do it yourself if you wish to silence them. You have a strong mind to exist with such voices, that is a gift-“ She concluded.

I am sorry your father did such a thing...but, perhaps it wasn’t of his choosing. I think you are strong enough though. Do you know where you are?” The silver female asked cautiously.

Remove
He felt something in his own mind and then the picture Amelie saw, he saw and then he pushed it away, he didn't want to remember his childhood. He missed it so much that he didnt want to remember it.

"My father wasn't nice, he wasn't there for us. I never knew him." He spoke with his mind to himself and the voices in his head not realising that Amelie was probably one of them.

"I dont know where I am and how am I to control the voices? They take my mind freely." He looked at her curiously. "What are you?"

Werewolf
I’m what I was born being,” Amélie spoke lightly. She still made a habit of denying what she was. She did not want the idea of power to ever infiltrate her mind. She could never take it for granted. Such power, it would be easy to lose one’s heart to it. “Nothing else. You are too, what you were born. You can get stronger and rise against them. You have a strong mind.” It was strong enough for her to have to flex to hold back the voices. Could he even spread his thoughts further then his own mind? She was getting better at detecting such feelings now. Better then before, at least.

No one knows what you can do except you. Not even me.” She smiled, the end of her tail shifting. “I am sorry your father never knew you well.”

She had a long pause, and thought to herself quietly, her own mind drifting and tangling in the threads of thought that floated around the forest. “Perhaps... you could confront each voice individually, and remove it. But it wouldn’t be an easy task. A voice can be hard to tell from your own. Do you know who you are underneath the voices?”

Remove
He nodded while listening.

"I am nothing but a mere wolf, you are in my mind, I can feel you." He looked at her curiously and continued to listen to what she said. He didn't have any powers, he was a normal wolf with voices in his head!

"I Know who I am, I always know who I am... I am confused though, why are you in my head?" He was getting a little shaken now he had come to realisation that she had got to him somehow.

Werewolf
Only because it needed help,” Amélie dodged softly, but realized she would not be able to hide from herself much longer. She did not like saying what she could do- as if ignoring it made it inexistant. That everyone could see things she did. She did not want to ever seem powerful.

Some say I am a witch,” She explained offhandedly. “I am not though. Do not worry, I mean no harm. You are as normal as you wish to be. But you do have a strong mind. Everyone has gifts- and that is one of yours.

Remove
He was still confused.

"A witch? Strong minded? What do you mean?" He laid back down and licked at his paws. Could he get in her mind? Could he control the voices in his head? So many questions that he wanted answers for. So many.

Werewolf
Amélie shook her head. “You’ll never lose your own voices. What you need to find is what voices are not your own. What ones trouble you and cause you pain- and force others away. Those are the ones you must get control of and stay.” She hesitated for a moment, seemingly lost in her own thoughts. She was trying to think of the best way to go about such a thing. She had never been a good person for advice...

“I am not sure how to do it. Only that it should be done. It is your mind, and you have a good, strong one. It will find a way. You just need to focus on what you want removed and practice.”

Remove
He wasn't all that bright so he stared at her looking somewhat lost.

"How do I remove them? I mean, they are in my mind!" He tried to think of ways but they were voices how are you suppose to remove voices or anything? He thought of moving them to anothers head, but that was impossible. No he couldn't think of a way to get rid of the voices, it seemed such an odd thing to even try.

Werewolf
Amélie shook her head. “I don’t know...I’ve never had voices in my head.” She admitted honestly. “But I know you can do it. I can feel it. You just need to practice strengthening your mind. Find out who it is you really are- that way, when you remove the voices in your head you are sure of who it is you are removing. I should be able to keep them back a bit, enough for you to speak with others. But I’m afraid that’s all my powers can do for you. They’ll always remain with you unless you remove them- and if they grow stronger, they could find a way to repell even me.”

“I can help you find ways, but not walk it.” She spoke, somewhat sadly. “It won’t be easy.”

Remove
Chip listened and nodded. "Can you tell me some ways and how you are able to be inside my head, then I will go somewhere quiet and practice keeping them back at first and then get rid of them." He was now determined to do it alone but he just wanted to know one thing, how was she inside his head?

The question was the only thing he wanted answering as he had a feeling that might help though then again it might not. Who knows?

Werewolf
Amélie shifted her ears. “I am able to be in your head because I am.” She dodged. “I have told you what they say of me. What you think I am is up to you. But I do not think we are so different. I am no witch, but sometimes I do not think I am always what they say.” It would take quite a confrontation to get her to admit what it was she was.

“But to remove the voices, I suggest you first listen to them. Find the loud ones, and cut them away. Confront them directly as a part of yourself, and then tear them from yourself when you are sure they have no hold over you any longer.”

Remove
He wanted to know how she did it. He would work it out, he would!

"Why are we not all that different? You talk in riddles." He was getting a little annoyed with her dancing around questions though still thankful for the help. This was all so weird.

"Is that it? I just have to listen and cut?" That would be easy if he knew how to cut things out of your mind!

Werewolf
Amélie smiled, and raised her head. “Ah. Sometimes, I am thinking I do. I don’t mean it. But I am cautious to say things, even if they are what others say. They say I am a seer. And if they say it about me, they may say it of you. But I would not proclaim either, as what I am. I’m just Amélie, and that’s never changed.” A lie, perhaps. She wasn’t how she was so long ago. She was not even how she was a short time ago. She changed like wind, and she followed it. But always cautious, to admit she had.

“I have every faith you can do it,” She admitted.

Remove
A seer? Seers were special, he was a runt. No, he couldn't be called a Seer but yet the idea did seem somewhat appealing.

"Thank You." He took a while to think about whether to try and continue this conversation or not, but it seemed right now that he wouldn't.

"I shall leave you to your self and try and work on these voices. Thank You very much and I hope I see you again." He smiled before looking around deciding which direction to head in now.

The talk that had occurred with the seer had confused the already confused wolf. She had called herself a seer and that some may even call him one. He wasn't a seer, whatever that was. He was just a runt, who was completely insane and amongst all the voices in his head he knew that. However she had taught him something.

He had left the meeting happily, he knew what he was doing, he had to listen to the voices to get rid of them; so that is what he did, until he fell asleep but instead of getting rid of them he was taking control of them. He listened to all the voices, waiting for something interesting to happen, like them suddenly disappearing. They didn't though. They refused to move.

He fell asleep that night under a small bush somewhat annoyed with the lack of progress. He had already forgotten that he was slowly controlling them, maybe that wasn't all that important anymore.

He let himself fall asleep and something strange happened. He slept deeper then he had done since he was a pup. Thoughts of himself and voices no loner flooded his head, instead he saw a wolf and a squirrel. The wolf had pink on her and seemed an odd shade of brown, or maybe it was something else. The squirrel looked just like Chip.

The dream faded and suddenly he could see his mother and one of the old pack members. He was concentrating on the dream so hard that if anyone had looked at the wolf they would have believed he were dead. Nothing moved.

The dream went on.

He heard cries, whimpering pain. It was his mother. He watched her as she was giving birth. Three pups, one purple, one white and blue and the other a mix of blue, white and brown. Chip knew his mother was having his three brothers. Chip tried to look around the dream, to see his father or siblings but there was nothing, just the old female.

The dream faded again and he just slept through the rest of the night, his body became less rigid and more relaxed. Thats how it was all night.

The morning came and it took a while for the lone to wake up. His eyes opened and looked around.. no one was there. Moving slowly he looked around yet again wondering whether he hadn't dreamt anything but was seeing it, it felt more like he was watching the event than dreaming it. He was even more confused now then he was when he went to sleep but something inside him had stirred. His mother and his brothers. Where were they? Little did he know they were closer then he thought.

Chipmunk and Fayina Tao

Lethrossen
She slunk along the forst floor slowly, almost carelessly. Her eyes were not foccused on anything, though she seemed to be going somewhere. She was slightly dirty, a little blood stained, but over all she looked healthy. Her ears kept flicking back and forth as she walked, perhaps listening for sounds around her and perhaps just flicking because they could. "Oh... oh.." She whined out. When would she get where she needed to be, when would she find someone good?

Remove
Chip had gone through alot of headaches and pains since meeting Amelie so now he had managed to find somewhere to rest and sleep. He had managed to sleep.

For once his voices didn't plague his dreams instead an image was there. It was blurry and he couldn't see it very well. It was as if his dream was looking at a reflection in murky water. A pale form. That was it. He could see something pale but what it was he had no idea.

He woke up slowly and his ears pricked up. He heard something, or someone. He stood up and shook before stretching. His voices were waking up as well. He snarled a little, giving the voices a warning, he was learning, slowly.

He moved slowly towards where he thought he heard the voice.

"Hello?"

Lethrossen
Her head jerked to the right and her eyes flickering over the woodsy scape. Hello. Her hackles slightly rose because she had grown rather anxious around other wolves. She thought that was a wolve... could bears talk to her? Her eyes widened at the thought. "If you are a bear I am not a tasty meal!" She called slowly from where she was, her paws had stopped moving. She'd believed this to be a very logical plan of action... though if she'd thought about it she would have realized just how silly she had sounded.

Her ears perked straight up and she moved cautiously toward the voice. "Well... are you a bear?" She threw out, as an after thought.

Remove
He chuckled. He could see her now but before he said anything he was having a conversation with a couple of the voices that was left in his head.

After the discussion had finished he smiled and walked out a little nearer to her. "If I were a bear I think I would have eaten you by now!" He chuckled, a voice in his head seemed to tell him that was a stupid move.

He huffed and shook his head. "Hey, I am Chip." No longer did a hundred voices speak through his mouth, they were confined for now.

Lethrossen
Her eyes widened then narrowed. "Why would you eat me then?" If he'd been a bear... well, she was glad he was not one and that should be that. "nevermind." Her eyes slowly drank in his form, his colors. She used to love staring at coat patterns, and it wasn't hard to see that he had a very nice coat... but it conflicted the sense in her now that she shouldn't look at other wolves at all. She slowly slunk around him, examining him from all sides.

"Chip." She repeated the name, getting a feel for it. "My name is Fayina Tao." Her voice slightly cracked as she told him her name, she did not like her name any longer; she did not deserve her name.

Remove
"Er..." He was going to answer the question but something told him not to so he didn't. He was still getting use to being able to talk without other voices coming from his mouth.

His ears pricked as she said her name, "Something wrong?" He was a little confused as to why her voice sounded odd. He had never really had much in the way of empathy skills or understanding someones body or voice. He was getting confused with being able to think.

Lethrossen
Fayina blinked and slowly braught herself in front of him and sat, her gaze directly on his paws and nothing else. "Nothing is wrong... Fayina just believes that perhaps she should not have a name." Should she really have told this stranger that? "Even though names are what make you who you are.." It was just something she believed. So if one followed her logic... no name would mean you were nothing, and that was what she truly believed.

She had her own theories about names, sometimes it seemed complex and other times it seemed simple. "But it should not worry Chip, it is not Chips problem.." Yes, that was the correct thing to say.

Remove
He listened to her speak, his head was hurting again.

He suddenly collapsed to the ground whining a little. He just had to concentrate on himself. Thats what it was. Himself, his voice, no one elses! He waited, just waited.

When he got up again he looked at her with a sheepish smile, "Maybe you could just rename yourself?" He smiled feeling sort of odd. Feelings that he wasn't feeling. He shook his head and dismissed them. They left.

Lethrossen
Fayina yelped and scrambled backwards as he fell, startled by the sudden collapse. Her eyes were wide and frightened and she almost started growling at him, as if he was threatening her. She managed to calm herself. "Are you alright?" She said slowly, edging forward carefully and letting her eyes curl around his body, looking for any hurts.

"Fayina can not rename herself... you can not give a name to yourself.. that would make the name worse than worthless." She didn't have to explain why she thought that, it was just the way it had always been to her.

Remove
Chip shook his head, "Just a odd headache that keeps coming back." He smiled and thought about what she said for a little while.

"How about I rename you?" He wished for her to think of a name she would like to be called, Amelie had got in his mind and though he didn't know how she did it or anything he wanted to try it! Though in honest he probably wouldn't be able to.

Lethrossen
She suddenly looked surprised, and a little afraid again. He rename her? Well part of her would always be his if he gave her a name... wouldn't it? This was beginning to hurt her head. Free peach was what her name had ment... but no longe did she ever feel very free. "M...maybe you could do that.." She said, though she sounded unsure about it.

These days she always felt trapt, and like she'd never be able to escape.

Remove
He had tried to reach her mind but only got the feeling of being trapped. He obviously didn't know how to do it.

"Maybe you could escape your name.. be nameless and free!" He didn't know how you could escape your name either but there had to be a way if he could be free of the voices.

Lethrossen
She smiled tentively at him. "How would anyone know me then?" She whispered. But did she even want anyone else knowing her? Perhaps not.. "Maybe that is a good idea.." But could something worth nothing be so free, so pure? Maybe she could try it... Yes, that sounded like a good idea.

"Thank you.." She said, this time she smiled fully in appreciation.

Remove
"You could give yourself a nickname.. like peach or free or name or... something." He smiled feeling a little silly. She liked the idea though!

"What do you want to be called while you have no name?" He tilted his head a little, a silly smile on his face. The voices in his head being somewhat more annoying.

.::Removing the Voices::.
Private RP - Chipmunk

The meeting with the strange female had confused him a little but he had thought clearly, he had helped her. That made him feel better, it was as if he knew he had to help her and he had been so happy, just to know that he could do something right.

It was the knowledge that helping people felt right that made him find somewhere to rest and work out how to remove these voices from his head. He found a secluded place under a few trees where he sat and washed his paws for a little while just as he figured out what it was he was going to do.

After about five minutes he had made his mind up, laying down and resting his head on his paws he closed his eyes. He drew away from the outside world and concentrated on one voice at a time. The first one was the most annoying it was deep and seemed angry at Chip. It seemed to constantly shout abuse at him, telling him he was nothing special, maybe it was because Chip was so angry with the voice that he was able to just ignore the voice. He bit it, in his mind, he imagined himself biting it and shredding it as he would his prey. It worked the voice went.

The process continued for a while, going through them and killing them, some were harder then others but he just thought of each prey as a different animal, some voices would be harder to get rid of, so he would imagine it was a larger prey like a stag. He would chase it around his mind until he was sure it was gone, then he would move onto another one.

He managed to get through about ten different voices before he was sure they were all gone. However something strange happened, he heard one of them. It was exactly the same as the third voice, strong and power hungry.

“Odd little pup, all alone pretending he is bigger then he is.”

Chips eyes shot open and he stood up snarling. He was certain the voices had gone, so someone had to be around.

“Calm down little one. Squi is only here to help you.”

The voice was female. It couldn't have been anything but female. He looked around but still couldn't see anyone or anything.

“Where are you?” He continued to snarl, he wasn't insane anymore, or so he thought.

“Above you.” She spoke a little softer now.

He looked up and there in the tree was a familiar looking squirrel. He had seen her before, in a dream with another wolf. He looked around again but there was no signs of any wolves.

“What do you want?” He inquired a little curious as to why a female squirrel was talking to him, of all creatures it chose to talk to him. Odd.

“To befriend a poor little lonely pup.”

“I'm not a pup!” He snarled once more.

“No, but you act like one.” She climbed down the tree and onto his back. She was a brave little thing but then she had been watching him for a long time recently and she wanted to make sure she could use him. He wasn't like other wolves, but she didn't know what he was, he needed to tell her that, but not yet, she wanted his trust first.
“I do not!” He tried to look at her but couldn't move his around far enough to see her.

“I think that proves my point. Anyway I am not here to argue, just to be a friend, if you will accept friendship from a squirrel like myself.” She smirked, not that he could see her. She was a clever creature.

Chip sighed and nodded.

“I would like your friendship.” He wasn't going to say no, he had no friends!

“Good, lets go get you something to eat and then find somewhere to sleep, it's getting late and we can talk more in the morning.” This was her test, if he obeyed her like she was hoping then she had him wrapped around her very small claws.

He nodded and went to find something to eat, with a squirrel named Squi on his back. He really was an odd wolf.

Chipmunk and Aphrodite

Aphrodite pursed her lips as she looked into the pale reflection that stared so darkly back at her. Blue eyes had never been her favorite, but she had them all the same, cold and unwavering. Yet, as she curled her lips to show a frame of perfectly modeled teeth, there was a glint within them that lit her face up. Her own expression warmed at the sight of the face that had won over so many, men and women alike. It didn't matter to her, who fell, with such beauty came a price. There was little whom one could depend upon, and friends in the true were so rare to come by.

No matter, she felt quite at home by misleading these very few, and taking whatever pleasures out of life she wished. Perhaps she'd venture to the sea today, find out what wolves lay there. Adventure was such a wonderous thing, and she took as much of it as she could, for she was not granted the immortality of the goddess she was named after.

A small sigh whispered out of her maw, tickling the placid waters reaching out just below her head. She cooed lightly to them, before turning her head away. There was nothing to be gained by daydreaming in the wake of your own reflection. No, she thought - as the sun rose, sending its orange glow across the landscape - it was time to start walking.

Aphrodite never walked far, or fast. She held herself in enough composure to seem proud, but not threatening or stuck fast to her position. She had no qualms in stooping down towards omega status if necessary, but she found she never had to. Varius playful thoughts lingered on her mind as she set out, tail swaying softly in the crisp morning air.

Chip was resting, as he had done alot lately. His meeting with Amelie had made him curious about her and how she got in his mind. After not being able to think so clearly for such a long time most she said flew over his head. He had managed one thing. He got rid of the voices.

His eys were tightly shut and a squirrel with colouring not all that different to his own laid beside him fast asleep. A wolf and a squirrel fast asleep. It may havebeen an odd sight for some but they suited each other perfectly. He had met the squirrel or had he made him up? Chip would never be sure but then he wouldn't worry about it either.

The squirrel awoke before the wolf and was quickly climbing up a large tree to be on look out for when her companion awoke. Chip woke not long after and stood up slowly, stretching, yaning and making alot of noise in doing so. He looked up and nodded at the Squirrel before heading to water, it was a normal routine that he did, wake, find water, see if he could attack the squirrels mind and then continue onwards. The squirrel was however safe, Chip hadn't succeded once. So as usual, they headed to water.

Kealdrana Sasaiuni
Aphrodite spent much of her time pausing to 'sniff the flowers' one might say. She had all the time in the world to get where she was going, and therefore did not worry about rushes and all that nansy pansy nonsense. In fact, she found a glorious world opened up to those who took time out of their ever so busy schedules to uproot a log, rock, or simply take a taste of whatever scattered the ground. Certainly the female was not that of royal minagurie. Those wolves might find her actions greusome, while she simply noted it as another wonder in her stretching life.

With all this sniffing about, she was bound to catch the presence of another, and so she did. It was male; she'd mastered the art of gender determination by smell ages ago. This could, perchance, prove to be of some interest to her, but then again, who knew for sure?

Most of the time the wolves confronted her, and Aphrodite had long ago learned not to head up to the face of another. Most wolves liked to make the approach themselves, or simply remain undisturbed. She could most certainly work with that. There was no need to go prying when she didn't need to. So, she decided not to go investigate, for the wolf seemed to be heading her direction.

Instead, she played the sleeping beauty card, and layed down in the soft forest loam for a feined rest. Perhaps he'd come stumbling, and not for the fact of being a little unbalanced.

Remove
If the odd male had come across her and been on his own he would have walked past her and left her to her sleeping however now he had something that was like an alter-ego and seemed to be inquisitive.

The wolf did stumble across her, he wasn't bothered about being presentable or looking good and most of the time he stumbled or fell. He never walked properly, always draggins his paws along the ground or shuffling a little.

He looked down at the body of the female and then into the trees where his friend looked down at him impatiently. He sighed and looked back at the females body.

"Excuse me?" He looked up again briefly and could feel the eagerness of his friend so he tried. Looking back at the female he tried what he had been trying alot recently, to do what Amelie had to him, to get in anothers mind.

Kealdrana Sasaiuni
Aphrodite lazily poked one eye open at the wolf. He had shown up, but a rather odd companion came with him. It wasn't that Aphrodite hadn't seen a squirrel before, it was just a bit odd to see one traveling about with a wolf. Squirrels seemed to have a natural fear of the canine breed, she'd noticed, but obviously this was not the case in regards to this particular mammal.

She thumped her tail against the ground a few times at the sight of him, stretching out her front legs to relieve what stiffness there would have been if she'd been sleeping for a time. Letting out a yawn and lightly popping her jaw, Aphrodite rose to her feet. From there she proceeded to give her body a shake and eye the male with scrutiny. He was many gorgeous colors, but he seemed a bit off all the way around.

"Yes?" she answered, tilting her head to the side with interest. As a general rule, Aphrodite tried to stay from seers. She didn't hate them, persay, but the majority were absolutely nasciating. There was something about their presence in her mind that made her ill. Granted, only those that were inexperienced could actually be detected, but this one, was, at that, and the headache was so strong and sudden, only coming when this other wolf came, she thought it could be caused only by a seer, but she'd been wrong before. "I really have nothing against you reading my mind," she smiled faintly. "Provided you first ask."

Remove

He looked up so suddenly as she said about reading her mind. He looked up at the tree and the squirrel looked back rather blankly.

"You mean... You felt me trying to get in there? I..Im sorry.. I didnt mean to.. well I did but." He paused and swallowed, a growing excitment and sickness was growing inside of him.

"I didn't expect to even touch your mind." He smiled sheepishly and looked up at the squirrel who was far too curious to stay in the tree and scampered down. She climbed onto Chips back and tried to see the other wolf over Chips head.

"Sorry." Chip did feel bad, Amelie had said you couldn't enter without permission but he didn't realise that. The squirrel on his back wasn't sorry, she was curious to whether Chip could break through into her mind. Maybe it was weak and that was why Chip reached it? That or Chip has just gone from being weird to being a freak.

Kealdrana Sasaiuni
Aphrodite nodded, no need to play the fool here. This male, he was obviously learning, he needed all the experience he could get, and knowing what seerdom was like to others was certainly a big step. "Mhmm," she said softly. "Just a headache. Experienced seers can only be detected by other seers, or so I've been told." She grinned broadly, her vibrant white teeth flashing in the coming sun.

"Practice," she affirmed to him, "is the key to perfection." No doubt he had heard that more than a hundred times over. Still, she couldn't help but repeat it to him, some hadn't, especially the youth.

"No matter," she said dismissively. "No harm done. You may practice, if you'd like?" She gave him a slight wink. Normally she was abuzz with thoughts, to the point of attempting to befuddle a seers mind, but in this case she could feel calm and empty most of her thoughts and emotions and think clearly of only certain things. Perhaps practice with him?

It was clear on how he was acting, for the most part, he had little interest in her at all. Which, felt strangely wonderful. The prospect for a friendship warmed her soul.

Remove
He looked at her and listened. Practice. He would definatly practice and he knew on whom as well. The squirrels security and safety came with a small price.

"Oh I don't want to hurt you again though. I can practice on Squi here because well... I dont want to hurt you." The thought of hurting another by poking around in their head seemed somewhat uninteresting now, especially if it hurt another.

Chip got a sharp kick in the neck from Squi. She wanted him to poke in the females head so then she could get Chip inside hers and wouldn't need to keep kicking him to tell him to do things and just think it instead.

He sighed and looked at the female, "If you are really sure...?"

Kealdrana Sasaiuni
"Oh!" came her reply, accompanied by the sweet sing of sparkling laughter as she threw her head back to let it all come out. "A headache is hardly enough to do damage." The smile was back again, just enough to reveal a few small teeth and give her a sweet aura.

She looked calmly to the squirrel, and back at him again. The little creature sure did know how to boss around the larger mammiliad.

"Of course," she confirmed with a bow of her head. This might take a while. Taking all expression from her face she settled down onto her haunches, focusing on the humming that came from the back of her mind.

There she thought of one thing, and only one thing. Her name, Aphrodite. Nothing else mattered exept for the constant drone of repitition of that very name. If she thought of anything else it might prove distracting.

Remove
Chip gulped and nodded. "Ok."

He closed his eyes and let his own mind clear so that he could try and reach hers again. He felt odd as suddenly he seemed to not be himself anymore and it was without doubt giving him the worst headache he had felt in a long time.

He felt as if he was going down into water, below the depths where creatures live that should never be found. He felt odd, he felt wrong. He was invading someones place, the only place that truely belonged to someone.

However he kept pushing. Through the pain he wanted to see if he could find what she was thinking but he didn't get there, he withdrew. The pain in his head felt as if there were a million hearts beating up there all at once.

"Sorry... it hurts."

Kealdrana Sasaiuni
Aphrodite waited, and waited some more. Nothing came, then it all hit in a sudden burst. An extreme amount of pain, and she realized that something wasn't going right. In a flash it had faded, her concentration, too, had broke, and his voice cleared the air.

Frowning, she shook her head free, trying to drive away the pressure that had built in her ears. "No matter," she smiled, wacking her tail lightly upon the ground. "You have time." According to her, everyone had all the time in the world. Still, there were only so many hours in the day, and these expiriments had taken up most of the morning.

With that in mind she took to her feet and bid him good day. "I wish you luck." Then she left, back down the trail she had been going before she'd picked up his scent.

Chip had got hit on the neck pretty hard when he had apologized but he didn't care. He was hurting so she must have been.

He nodded, he did have time though how much he wasn't sure, his friend was impatient and Chip wasn't the strongest willed wolf in the world, infact he was easily broken which could be one reason why he was being led around by a squirrel.

"Thank You." He nodded again as she turned to leave. "Time to go Squi." He spoke quietly, his head still hurting, he needed to find something to drink. He turned slowly and made his way towards water and a refreshing drink.

.::A Test Subject::.
Chipmunk and Kin

KasaiLoki
User Image Ah...yes, that same old split root tree is where this setting begins. Though, the figure usually inside the 'den' wasn't there. Instead, the fresh smell of blood could be scented around the area. It seemed like during the night, some predator caught a rodent, probably looks to be a rabbit by the ears, and had a little feast of it.

But there was just enough for Kin. After all, it wasn't like she was absolutely starving or anything. Sinking her teeth into the meager amount of flesh was hard, so instead, the girl just nitpicked until the area was just bones.

It was only about five or so minutes of the little 'feast' before nothing was left. Licking her lips, the female tucked her tail, leaving the bone corpse alone, and heading back to her napping area inside the tree. A lifestyle she had taken on since it left. It, being family. It being a guardian. It...being a love. Where it had gone, she wished she knew. She would follow it.

Kin didn't know though.

And thus, leaves her to this round of loop-de-loop games. She wasn't strong, she was a weak little wolf. Even to the most harmless of wolves she would throw herself into submission. She wasn't one to fight.

She was more the one to...sleep...and eat occasionally. Sleep and eat, sleep and eat.

User Image
It had already been a while since his last meeting with a wolf, and that had been a female one as well. He obviously had a thing with running into females, in fact, he hadn't met a male for a very long time.

The squirrel sat on the seer-in-trainings back. She basically controlled him and was leading him in the wrong direction. She was willing to push Chip to his limits and she knew he was already doing far too well. She wanted the wolf to take over another and break them, bend them and own them. That was what she wanted and Chip was lost so followed her guidance blindly.

The odd couple came across the meat, mainly because Squi was getting a little irritated with the smell of blood. Chip however was hungry but when he saw the female he got the all too familiar kick in his neck and sighed. He could break her after he had eaten.

KasaiLoki
User Image Another scent...just like the day prior! But this was one...different. It was like two scents mingled together. What did that mean? The females fur rose slightly, taken a defensive side before it resided down again. Coppery eyes flickered towards the wolf. That who held the strange dual scent...but why?

Unbeknownst to her, she couldn't see the squirrel on the back of him.

She was shaking. She hadn't encountered a male in who knows when. While she snuck under bushes to evade sight, she would hear other wolves murmur, talking about fighting for territory, fighting males. Like stated earlier, Kin was one easily brought down into submission, but she didn't want to lose her life. She couldn't trust anyone, so could this mean a life loss for the skittish adult?

An ear flicked towards the male. Perhaps he didn't see her. It wasn't /that/ easy to see pink amongst an all brown body and base (if you didn't note sarcasm in there, please, kick yourself now). Though she still tried. Her breath hitched, moving so slowly, at a snail pace, to hunch low to the ground. She didn't want him to see her. Oh please, make him not have seen her.

Remove
He saw her and was pleased to have seen her however he got another kick in the neck. Chip let his mind wander to the squirrel, it was becomming easier to do with the squirrel, maybe it was because the squirrel had a smaller mind?

Keep her.

The thought was loud and clear in the squirrels head and Chip dared not to argue. Leaving the squirrel who rushed off the wolf and up into to a tree to watch, he moved forward towards the femme.

"I am Chip, you are?" He walked straight towards the meal, he was still hungry, he also now had some orders that he had to keep to. He needed a wolf to be around to practice on.

KasaiLoki
User Image She caught glimpse of the other scent. So...the male harborer a rat with a fluff fuzzed tail on it's back? Strange...I thought wolves ate squirrels? Then again, this was a messed up world everyone lived in, wasn't it? Copper eyes watched the rat, ignoring the male for a slight moment.

Hesitation was brought upon her as he approached. She found herself hard to speak. The words were there, they were just lodged in her throat. She crept further and further into her tree den, her eyes wide and scared. What was her name? What...what?

Realization dawned on her as soon as the back hit the cold wood. "K...K....Ki..Kin...." She stuttered, lowering her head to the ground, eyes casted there until finally she exposed the neck to the other male. A submissive pose, yes indeed.

Why fight a battle you know you can't win?

Remove
Chip bent over the food and ate what he could before stopping. He was still learning which would be why he suddenly looked as if he was staring into space because that is exactly what he was doing.

He pushed at the females mind, the headache came on and he knew she was probably getting one as well but he continued to push and he would do untill he either broke into her mind or collapsed from exhaustion.

He had done this once before and he hadn't broken through so he doubted he would now as the pain was still great but he could use it against her, after all he could control when she got bad headaches!

KasaiLoki
Kin watched teh strange male, wanting to back up more, but the tree had prevented so. You know, this tree had been such a perfect place to rest, but for escaping predators that seemed to trap her like this, well, it wasn't too good! She needed to dig herself a back door or something. After all, all homes had front and back doors didn't they? That would be her next priority, if she made it out of this predicament.

Closing her eyes, the female groaned slightly. Her head was pounding all of a sudden. Why? She wasn't getting sick was she? Oh no, what if she was? She didn't want to rely on others for help, that would be burdensome to everyone! She groaned again, beginning to pant at the headache continued. She looked at Chip with pained eyes. Maybe he could help her with this?

Remove
He pushed more and more but it wasn't going anywhere untill at last he broke through.

Kin.

It was something strange. He had that drunk feeling again where he was sinking, drowning but he was able to push his thoughts through to her head.

Your mine.

There Squi could be happy now.

KasaiLoki
'Kin'

Her eyes widened. What was that? Shaking her head, she tried to get the voice out. Maybe a squirrel or bug was on her back, like Chip had when she first saw him.

"Yours?" She whispered outloud, giving the other a quizical look. What was going on?!

The copper female made a little whine, not putting two and two together.

Remove
Chip was actually finding this amusing he was however tiring again and the headache he was encountering was blinding him.

You can see me in front of you. I am a wolf like yourself. If you dont want this headache again you will behave and do what you are told. You are mine.

He then pulled out from her mind and collapsed panting a little, he looked at her, his sight a little blurry. Squi was up in the tree incredibly happy but she would stay there for now to see whether Chip had broken the girl or not.

KasaiLoki
Kin couldn't speak. Instead, she just concentrated on the voice before her. She didn't want to get hurt, or worse, so instead, she just lowered her head to the other male, showing her submittance.

Before he pulled out of her thoughts, the female whispered a meek "o..okay." Stuttering even in her mind. The gangly female crawled out of the tree, staying right at the entrance so she could hear what he wanted her to do. She was tired, but thankful the headache had gone away for the time being.

Remove
Chip looked up at Squi and waited.

The squirrel ran straight down and onto the wolfs neck, stretching to speak into the wolfs ear. Eventually Chip turned to Kin and reached out to her mind again.

I'm sorry... Its Squi. I don't want to hurt you.

He was pulled out with a kick in his neck and he snarled a little.

"Come with us Kin." He looked at her apologetically, when Squi went off somewhere he would talk to her, which shouldn't be too long as Squi was getting restless.

KasaiLoki
He was being controlled by a squirrel? That was weird... The female began shaking again. She didn't want to go! Nodding her head fretfully, she crouched, following the two with her belly on the ground, tail tucked in between her legs.

"Where is Kin going?" The female asked cautiously, watching the squirrel from the other's back. If that thing controlled the other male, why didn't he kill it or something? Certainly a wolf wouldn't want to be controlled by a rodent.

Remove
Chip looked back and then felt the squirrel jump off his back and dash up into the trees where she couldn't hear what the wolves said.

"I don't know, I am sorry but she wants me to practice these power things and she wants me to use you but it means we can talk without her knowing... I could hear your thoughts and feel your fear. Im sorry." He lowered his head and looked at the ground as he walked.

He felt bad about taking this female but maybe they could become friends or something?

KasaiLoki
"Kin doesn't want to be a pawn." The skittish female said, avoiding eye contact with Chip. "Kin wants to go back home. Why does squirrel want to practice on me?" The wolf had many questions. This was the most she had talked about in almost ever. She had spent sometimes talking to Barbados about events, but when he left, she became almost mute.

"Kin wants to go home.." She mumbled, wanting to curl up in a hiding spot and be able to be unseen.

Remove
Chip sighed, he wanted to just let her go but yet he couldn't and he didn't know why.

"I dont know, she is using me too... Im sorry." He let his wander along the ground. He was upset about her being sad but yet at the same time he couldn't make her happy.

He looked up at the sky and then around.

"There seems to be a den over there, we can rest there if you want." It was a suggestion but it was also a place where Squi would refuse to go. She didn't like to be underground.

KasaiLoki
Den?

Sharing a den with...him? Her eyes widened as she began shaking again. She hadn't shared a den in her whole life. She lived under bushes, and in tree trunks, but never in little caves. And the fact sharing a den with someone who could be assumed a 'wolf' napper just made more images appear in her mind. "Male wolf can rest in den. Kin can go rest in her tree!" She said nodding confidently inbetween her shaking.

Remove
He sighed and shook his head, "You sleep in the den. It will be warmer." He spoke a little stronger then he had done. He wasn't about to let a female sleep in the cold while he was in the warmth.

The reached the den and he just looked at her, "Go on, sleep well."

KasaiLoki
At his much stronger, and forcefulness, voice, the female lowered herself to the ground again. Not wanting to look the male in the eyes, she put her nose to the ground, only lifting herself slightly to 'crawl' into the cave. She didn't want to sleep in there, let alone, sleep in there with someone who made her leave her home! She sighed, creeping past Chip, and to an edge.

Perhaps at night she could get away from the male? Leave, and head to the river so her scent would be washed away. From tehre, find a new home! Away from this wolf and his crazed squirrel!

Remove
Chip laid down outside the cave once he knew she was inside, he didn't sleep, instead he let his mind wander, thinking about tapping into her mind because then even if she did try to sneak off, he would know.

KasaiLoki
When the moon was high in the sky, the female would move to escape. The cave wasn't too bad. More like the isnide of the tree trunk, except roomier. Her coppery eyes set on the figure still outside the cave, and sighed. Why couldn't he just leave her alone!? The female moved her head to the ground, curling up slightly.

.::Mother and Siblings::.
Private RP - Chipmunk

He awoke with a start.

The dreams were freaking him out. They seemed to constantly be of his mother, the female from the pack and three pups that were obviously his siblings but the worst part of it all was that he could slowly hear what was being said.

Three pups, he knew two of their names, Ocean and Dark.

It was so strange that he could know all this, the dreams were becoming more real and though it was the same one every time he was starting to feel his mothers pain and it scared him. He wanted his mother.

He got up slowly and started to go, he didn't know where he was going but he had a rough idea, he recognized the area that his mother was giving birth in, he had seen it when he had met the female seer.

It was time to get moving, he had to find his mother and these three little boys, the dream would take him there, he didn't know how it would but he knew it would however strange that may seem.

It took him a while before he was sure he was on the right path and heading in the right direction, he had to stop several times and try to reach out with his mind, something he was able to do more with the birds then anything else.

It was the birds that led him.

He found it fascinating that he could just drop in and out of the birds minds when he wished and each one seemed so different to the one before it. It was amazing and the wolf was so close to just stopping and dipping into several birds in one place but a picture hit his mind and he had to continue onwards for his mother.

He was still having headaches but as far as he knew that was because of some strange thing that was happening, the voices were trying to get back into his head so he had to picture a wall, a large wall with knives and glass on top, something no one could get over or through.

The problem was the nearer he got to his mother the worse they got. He just had to stop. He looked for somewhere that had enough cover to keep him hidden so he could sleep, then the headache could go, his head never hurt when he slept.

He found somewhere that happened to be perfect where he curled up to sleep. He found himself drifting into the dream he was so use to until a cry of pain hit his ears and he woke up. He got up and headed in the direction that the call was coming from and as he got close he heard voices. He moved so that they wouldn't catch his scent and watched his mother give birth, the scene that he had seen so many times already.

.::A Mothers love::.
Private RP - Chipmunk and River

Chip had been careful but had watched his mother a lot recently and his three brothers. He had never got close enough to talk with them and he didn't wish to. He wanted to talk to his mother. His mother was the only one in the world who he knew loved him and that was something that he cherished above all things so if anyone could help him then surely that would be his mother.

He had followed his mother as she had taken the blue and white pup on a walk. He had found it hard to be quiet and not to whimper as he watched his mother look after his brother as she had to him when he was younger. He missed her tender love.

He had followed them back carefully and watched as the pup went and curled up with his brothers. Chip then took his move, he wanted the love that his mother was giving to his brothers and it was his dreams that had brought him here so something was suppose to happen, something.

"Mother?" He spoke very softly as he came out the grasses towards the brown wolf. He moved very slowly in fear of waking his brothers.

"They are lovely mother. I'm a big brother." He smiled looking at the three sleeping pups before looking back at his mother.

River was tired, she hadn't slept much and getting home with her son and him going to sleep was just perfect. She had just laid down to sleep when she heard the word mother. Her ears pricked up instinctively and she looked at her boys. All were asleep.

She then turned still very much confused but there he was.

"Chip?"

She turned away and then looked again completely confused. How? Why? It just made no sense, how did Chip find her and at this time as well. She listened to what he said about his brothers and looked even more confused.

"Chip, how do you know they are your brothers? How did you find me? You are suppose to be with Stray!" She realised her voice was becomming louder and she looked suddenly to the pups, they couldn't wake up.

"Come with me." She then turned to walk away from the pups a little where they could speak louder then a whisper.

"I am so confused Chip." She looked at her son who was so big now, an adult. That meant that the others were as well. Oh how long ago she had seen all her children.

It wasn't the welcome that Chip had expected from his mother but then again he didn't know what he had been expecting. He hadn't seen his mother for a very long time.

She had spoken too quickly for him to say anything so he followed her and let her finish before he said anything just like any good son should.

"I dreamt it mother. I saw you giving birth everytime I went to sleep and the birds led me to the place in the dream. I have had such a strange time over the last few months and it seems to have brought me straight to you." He was honest however odd it sounded.

He sat down in front of his mother and looked up to her. "I want to know what you are doing because, well, I was hoping you could tell me why I am here. I mean it can't just be to see my brothers." He was making more sense then his mother had ever heard and her change in expressions made him a little worried.

"Sorry if it is a bad time mother..."

River listened without interrupting. How could she after all she was far too amazed at how coherent his speech was and how he knew exactly what he was talking about but these dreams. They made no sense.

"You dreamt about me giving birth?" How could he have? It must have just been some random thing but he said...

"The birds brought you here? Chip you are making no sense what so ever." She was trying to understand her son but nothing seemed to make sense, how much more did her son know?

"The birds yes and I dreamt it yes." He sighed and laid down.

"It started a while ago. I had mental problems as you know, voices plagued my mind and nothing ever made sense but then something happened I met a wolf. She was different. She was beautiful and gentle and she got inside my mind. It confused me but she cleaned my head and in time I was able to rid myself of the voices.

I then went on I met some wolves, many wolves infact and a squirrel and some other birds. I tried to do what she did to me so I just imagined my mind trying to get in their heads and of course it didn't work but then it did. I broke through into the squirrels head and then a wolfs and then there were the dreams of you and Squi said I was special and that she should look after me but Kin hated me for Squi so I ran away with Kin and then left her to find you." He paused for a little while and sighed somewhat, this was so hard to explain.

"I think Squi was right mother I am special which is why I am here I think I was suppose to tell you something though I don't know what yet and I am worried I won't be able to tell you." He sighed a little and felt tired all of a sudden. Maybe he would be able to rest properly now he had spoken to his mother.

River listened and though she didn't know what to say she just nodded. Her son was a seer? Thats what it sounded like anyway though she didn't know what to say she was too tired to take all this in right now.

She had given birth to a seer.

It made her feel special and of some use. Her son was special.

"Chip. I need to think about this. I am far too tired to think all this through properly. Don't go far and I will find you when I have thought it through. It is good to see you again my son." She smiled and licked his muzzle before returning to her three pups to curl up around them and sleep.

Chip understood that his mother didn't want to think about it all right now. He was still confused about it all but was happy as he had seen his mother again and something inside of him felt that something would come of all this.

"Thanks mother. I won't be far." He smiled and watched her go before finding somewhere himself to curl up and sleep.
