(( Oooh. It's good to see so much guardian information up! The soul is nice and unique too. Remember that conflict in your Raevan is also really interesting as well!
The only hiccup I could see is that the holy grail is pseudo man-made. The essences are parodies of nature -- things that shouldn't exist. Thus no man-made object could really apply to the essence. I hope this helps some! The second concept is a really interesting idea! However, there's already a couple of color-oriented Raevans: Nue, with the tangible dream, and Kalei's future Fragments O' Rainbow essence. I'm not saying you ABSOLUTELY HAVE to change it, but be wary. XD;
Instead of colors, maybe the ink could shape (or draw?) patterns and pictures representing ideas?

This is a VERY interesting concept, I like the description of the character's they sound like very attractive Raevan.
And very attractive personalities.
It'll be very interesting if you get either of these concepts created someday, good job. heart
