Ourt is indeed guarded by two Ice Giants. Ourt is a land of permafrost (permanantly frozen ground) and is similar to Earth's Greenland or Antarctica. Most of the land is uninhabited, except for the Ice Gnomes, a small race related to giants who dwell underneath the ground.
