"Ha! I showed you, rabbit! "
Ata was on her belly, dusty in any part that didn't already look dusty due fur color, but nonetheless, there was a kicking rabbit between her paws. She wasn't that good a hunter, Ata, so havig managed a rabbit was great! That is, untill it ran away, and she squeaked, scrambling to her paws, but tumbling on her first steps. By then, the rabbit was gone.
She sat up, snorting. That stupid rabbit! How was she supposed to hunt when they got back to the Mteo'Nyungu? Her siblingscould probably do that so easly by now.. Then again, her brother wouldn't be a hunter, would he?

Kimya was busy patroling the area. His father was busy taking care of his mother and therefore it was his responsibility to keep them safe on their journey home. He trotted around a scraggly bush, most likely half-dead from lack of nutritution, and caught sight of his sister, quite busy with a small creature, which just as quickly bounded away.
A sigh and a lazy chuckle escaped his lips as he made his way toward his sister, his tail flopping against the ground once. "Trying your luck, Ata?" He asked, eyes flickering with amusement.

There was ablink from dark eyes as Ata caught sight of that ever-familiar blue. Most in her family had it, just she and her mum didn't. Angusho was white and pink, though, and Chuguu was gray and white. Eitherway, there was still lots of blue.
"You can't do better, Asi. " She said, ears black, though a playfull grin played across her maw. "You don't have to worry about hunting anyways, you're not going to be a msaka. " Shetrttoed over to her brother, eadbutting his shoulder.

Kimya grinned at his sister, she certainly was an interesting person to be around, she would definitely make hunting for the rest of the pride interesting.
"But I'm going to be a Shujaa, and I have to know things just as important." He replied airily, batting at her with a paw and nipping at her ear. It was just like old times, the two of them playing like this. He wondered briefly where their sister was, it was entirely complete without her here. Probably with their mother or off hunting on their own, he guessed vaguely. "So what are you up to, Ata? Aside from almost catching a rabbit, that is."

She rolled onto her back, pushing her hind paws againt his chest to try and free his grip on her ear, if the roll itself wasn't enough.
"I'm doind important things. Like.. " She blinked, swishing her tail. What was important? "Catching stuff for you lazy lot. " Not that she could truthfully call the group lazy, but she could fool around all she wanted.

He laughed, "Like catching that rabbit, right?" He pressed a paw on her chest as well, "You're doing a fabulous job then for us lazy lot, then." He released her and trotted around her form, his growing mane, flopping over and eye. Hey, at least he was getting old enough for that to happen.
He scented the air out of habit, nothing out of the ordinary, which didn't say much as they were traveling. Still, nothing to worry about and he continued his game with his sister, batting at her front paws playfully.

Sherolled back onto her paws, crouching almost as if stalking pray, the jumping up to pounce her brother, but instead laded closer to his tail, and batted at i, though moved away as quickly as she could, remebering turningaround would be just so easy.
"I bet you can't catch one, Asi. " She stuck her tongue out. "They'll kick and bite your nose till you surrender! "

Kimya laughed and twitched the fluff at the end of his tail under her nose, "Why would it matter?" He asked coyly, "I don't hunt in the first place." He turned and pounced her himself, "And I never surrender." He murmured in her ear. He nipped at her ear again, ensung an old game, much like cat and mouse.

"Oh, really? I could recall a few, I bet. " She rolled away from her pouncing brother, back on her paws as quickly as she managed. flinging some sand in his direciton as if to distract him for a strike, then simply running away from him, looking over her shoulder for amoment just to shout.
"Can't catch me! "

He turned his head away from the flung sand, just managing to not get it in his eyes. He looked up, eyes narrowed, "Do you want to make me blind?" He shouted then sprang after her, "Ha! Let's see you try to get away!" he growled, chasing her.

"Sure, that'd probably be an improvement in your case! " She teased, but Ata was far from wanting anything happen to her brother. She zigzagged this way and that, suddenly changing directions aware of how lightershe was then her brother, afterall, it was about this age that boys got bigger than girls, and she -could- use that to her advantage.
"I don't even have to try much, Kimya! Its too easy! "
