I think I always knew. When I was younger, about 4-5ish, I had a strong belief in magic. I had many people tell me that there is no such thing as magic, that there is no such thing as dragons, unicorns, spirits, ghosts, anything. But then one day someone told me when I was about 5ish, that if I make a wish on a star it would come true in 8 years. So I made a wish that I would be able to do magic. Unfortunately I lost faith in magic, God, and just about everything else within that 8-year period. I used to be Christian, yes, and I never will be again. When I was about 12 or 13 I was introduced to Wicca. It didn't quite work, but it lead me somewhere at least. So that's when I first discovered it. I stopped doing it because wicca discourages the use of magic unless you really need it. I lost faith again and fell into deep depression. I was a junior in high school at the time, and my chemistry teacher could clearly see that I was falling apart. So eventually I talked to her and she said that I probably needed some kind of spiritual foundation in life. Basically, she helped me realize that I can't go through life without practicing magic, because I fall apart.

In college, I met a better pagan community and they helped me learn a lot more about my "powers" as you call it. I think everyone is capable of these things, but it is their choice to practice their talents or leave it.

What do you mean by powers?

My precognition began to manifest around the age I started going to school, 5 or 6 if I remember correctly. I can't tell much else because of how bad my memory is though.

When I was a baby I could do storms and things with the weather, one day all the lights went out in everybody's house buy mine and my mom told me it was because of me because my eyes had a strange glowing like feature to them. Well, the next time we had a storm, I blew up the tv that was going to go in my room. After that for a few years nothing happened anymore, then there was this owl, every evening I would see it, hear it. It was a beautiful why with gray type dots on it's wings owl. It's a symbol of who I am. And no one else could see it but because my grandmother knew everything she could. Then it was a black cat that...came and visit me one night..then disappeared out of my room completely..Now since the door was closed..and the window didn't have anyway for it to go out...it kinda was a bit weird. My powers stopped well the elementals fo a while, but I could still sense, read mines and emotions so on and so forth. When my grandmother was going to die, I knew. Maybe..when I was...10? I saw a demon in my bedroom and ran right through it. Then things just ecalated and I learned of my elemental abillites again. Um so I guess you could say I always kind of knew I had them and that I wasn't normal.

If Im recalling correctly, (it was quite some time ago..)...I was eight years of age, during my second grade year of schooling. That year was very troubling for me becuase I was constantly the target of teasing due to my odd hairstyle and my form of general thinking was highly obsurd.
But anyways during such a time when I was being verbaly beaten I relized that I could read the mind and at other times I could veiw the thoughts before they were spoken, of those who had choosen to taunt me. Which gave me a fair advantage over them..

Powers?

Please don't say that. It makes you sound like you have a power over other people, and therefore can destroy them at some level. I think it was said before, we aren't X-MEN or whatever. And even though you can be taught certain similar things (telekinesis, telepathy, pyrokinesis) I don't think anyone has anything to the magnitude of media sources, especially fiction. Or atleast, they wouldn't be on a public forum telling everyone about such said 'powers'.

I'd edit your post and say 'abilities' or 'talents', or a similar tone if you don't want to sound fake. heart

There shouldn't be.

I skipped out on the majority of the DF fiasco. This isn't to say it wasn't entirely her fault. I'll just call it that.
