She pranced a bit as she walked along in the clear field humming happily. She had made a few more friends, but mostly stallions (which surprised her, really) and she began to wonder if she should return home someday. As she skipped along, she hummed a horse tune.
What was in store for her today, she wasn't sure, but she'd accept it as a fun part of learning life. She rarely got to really get to know a lot of Soquili, so it was her goal to make as many friends as possible. Besides, it was a lot of fun getting to know someone.

He was thirsty... That was probably one of the few reasons why Zalifur would actually get up. He hardly ever got up for anything besides the things that he needed to do to stay alive. The stallion yawned lazily, his cerulean blue eyes darting around back and forth. Reaching the lake, the stallion bent down and gulped down a large amount of water.
The sun felt nice on his back, and he felt like he was just going to fall asleep right there.

She came upon a stallion with the longest hair possible that she had ever seen. How had he get to have such long, luxurious looking hair? Well, only one way to find out. "Hello!" she called cheerfully as she trotted over.
Black and white, and he moved in a leisurely kind of way, almost too slowly, and she stifled a giggle. Maybe he just didn't like moving around too much? She felt like she was going to be entertained quite a bit today. "I'm Mocha, and you are?" she introduced happily.

Oh my god. Another soquili. Turning his head ever so slowly, Zalifur stared at the mare. What did she want? His patience was getting to him, but he knew that to get angry was absolutely silly. Plus that would waste too much energy, energy that he already did not have. "Hello. Zalifur." He said two simple words and then circled around and sat down next to a rock. The stallion closed his eyes and his curtain of black hair screened his face from Mocha. He was too tired for this.

Hm? That was a quick exchange! Mocha pouted for a moment, and then grinned as her lit up with an idea. She trotted toward him after he had lain down and closed his eyes. He seemed fun, but it looked like she would have to provoke him into moving. He seemed like he didn't like being too active, which was the complete opposite for her.
Grinning wickedly, she bent down slightly and put her muzzle to his ear. Breathing slowly as she took in a drawn breath, she tried not to laugh as she did something she was sure would probably get him angry but at least he would talk to her. "ZALIFUR!" she said loudly, right in his ear before bounding away to a safe distance.

What a nuisance... He didn't notice her coming up towards him which was silly of him. He might have been able to rolled away, but not get up. No, not get up, that would use up too much energy. Zalifur heard his name ringing in his ears, but didn't get up. His ear twitched irritatedly, but then fell back on his head. He opened his eyes and gazed at the mare behind his hair with crystal-like eyes. He wasn't quite sure what to say to her.

She grinned widely at Zalifur, chuckling as he looked at her with a mixture of expressions. "Sorry, but I don't really like be ignored, especially after that short phrase of words you threw at me," she explained, coming closer slightly, but not within striking distance. She was cheery and happy, but not stupid.
"Why are you sleepy? It's not even evening yet! Unless you're taking an afternoon nap? I like those, but you don't get to do anything interesting." She gave him a mock pout. "At least give conversation!"

"S-Sure." Zalifur yawned between syllables. These soquili were so persistant. Oh how he just wanted to fall asleep and sleep for as long as he wanted without being interrupted. But he guessed that he was just doomed to be deprived of sleeping his usually fourteen plus hours everday. Traveling here was already troublesome, now he had to deal with these soquili. He didn't even reply to whatelse she said.

Somewhat annoyed, Mocha laid down right in front of him and cocked her head as she watched him. Why didn't he just find someplace secluded? She shrugged a wing as she nearly began to yawn herself.
Zalifur was making her sleepy now, and she didn't particularly like that. She wanted to be awake. But with how he was, it really wasn't helping. She said nothing, hoping that maybe he would... well, she didn't know him that well yet.

Looking at her with emotionless eyes, Zalifur couldn't help but grin to himself as she sat down next to him. From what he saw, she didn't seem to be the 'sleeping' type like that foal he had met. The stallion didn't say anything but just watched her quietly. He didn't really feel like saying anything so he just watched her with expectant eyes wondering what she would do next.

She cocked her head him, giving looking at all angles she possibly could. She itching to ask him the one question that she knew he'd probably heard many times by now, but felt that it'd be kind of rude and so she sighed to herself and instead returned his stare with her own.
Her lips twitched, as she wanted to laugh at such a funny situation this was. This was the least most-talked out conversation she had ever had, and, to say the least (man, now she really wanted to laugh), it was very entertaining. Well, all she did was shift into a more comfortable position, waiting for the right moment.
