Hokay, so I really want to get an I-pod with all the Christmas money I have amassed, and so I was doing "Consumer Research" by going to the website to find out some information.
All it seemed to talk about was that "Your I-pod says something about you; It creates your 'image', blah blah blah [ Insert prep-attention- grabbing device here]" .<******** that. I don't want to create an 'image'. I guess any 'image' I want to make is that I want to listen to my music throught the day without having to carry around a bulky CD player. ( Also, I thought getting a I-pod could help me get motivated to start exercising, but that's not the only reason why I want one.)
And another reason why I want one is because it's so compatible with other products/services.
So.... What do you think? Which one should I get? Go 'cheap' with a 2 GB silver one, or get a 4GB Project Red one (And not worry that I'll put too many songs on it.)?

Go with a 4 gig. I never thought I would ever need any more than 2 gig. But they only sold 4 gig and 6 gig in the mini [I bought mine about 1 year and 1/2 ago, they don't sell minis anymore. ] I'm very grateful 'cause now I have quite darn near 700 songs even though I never thought I would ever have that many. You just accumulate them overtime.

Definitely get a 4 gig. I don't own an Ipod but I do own a PSP...and we have lil memory stick duos that are in megabytes and Gigs. I have a 2 and it's full already...I'd be set with a 4 though. In the best interest of your stress level..get the 4.

Xumbra Four gig. I personally would get a Shuffle. I prefer iPods with screens.

Neko_girl7992 Xumbra Four gig. I personally would get a Shuffle. I prefer iPods with screens. And sometimes, I want to choose what music I want to listen to.

Yeah, but if you have a playlist of songs that you like, then it won't matter which song you play.
And it's not like you'll change songs while running.
And dropping a Shuffle seems better than dropping a Nano.

But Nanos are shinier too! Shiny!
I also have a tendency to want to have different playlists and get certain songs stuck in my head that I want played out.
