Well I got FF III today. It's definitely a great game, but I'm still a tad dissapointed. The game is almost perfect, it just can seem way too tedious sometimes which kinda kills it. I wish challenging fights were actually challenging but it has a classic feel to it so it really only tests your ability to endure and level up. You always have to pay attention though and I kinda like it, it keeps it from being really boring.
The game looks great though. The character models have a very pure and clean look to them. The different jobs are great as far as variety goes. To be honest though I haven't tried the other jobs I just have the basic, generic party of white mage, black mage, red mage and warrior.
There are no save points.... so you have to conserve your resources quite a bit. I suppose this helps makes things quite challenging, but it can just be a little frustrating.
The storyline/characters are all very loveable. There's the RPG cliches of the shy boy and the outspoken girl, and the romantic heart-throb and the stereotypical male leader- but it's all done very well. The game sometimes surprises you with how witty the dialogue is.
Umm I'll have more later when I'm a bit more alert...god lol all I've been doing is playing video games for the past nine hours or so but hey I love them.
