Yes, darkness could just mean ignorance. Which, if I remember my bible correctly, was what God wanted of all mankind. So therefore, by simple Algebra, God=Darkness.

Of course not. Black is not evil either. Evil and good are meerly persceptives based on your experiences and personality. One could say a nail is evil because it could kill someone one, while others could say that a nail is good because it can help build things to help humans. :3

Drakness is not always evil such as light is not always good. I htink the only reason ppl think darkness is evil is because darkness is a deep rooted fear that no one knows what is in it so ppl think it is evil when really it isn't.

If you think darkness is evil, then so be it. But I think darkness is as good as light.

I don't see it as good or bad... its just a different sort of energy. I do admit, though.... I see darkness as negative and light as positive... but that still doesn't make one good or the other bad..

Under my system, Light is creative energy, and Darkness is the energy of absence, destruction and negation. Doesn't mean it's evil, just opposite Light. Light could be evil, as well. Darkness is nothing more than the absence of light. How is that a bad thing?

I find it hard to see anything as good or evil. There is good and bad in all things and the idea that one is completely one or the other just doesn't seem reasonable. Take Hitler, for example. A lot of people say he's evil, but Life magazine made him the man of the year because he pulled Germany out of a depression. He was a good person until he started persecuting the jews. The same is true for everyone and everything.

Darkness is just drawing... it is taking in energy... that isn't evil
Think of it as lack of input. You percieve nothing so there is nothing. A shield could very well seem dark if it was meant to hide me.

I don't really view things as good or evil. I see things of being in shades of grey, and in shades of other colors.
There was a saying that I used to use but I don't remember if I made it up or not ~.~
"You are born from darkness into light, and in the light you learn fear, and in death you return to darkness."

Darkness is considered evil by some because it is unknown or misunderstood, but darkness of itself is neither good nor evil.

Darkness isn't evil. Darkness is the black representation of an element branching from the Fifth Element. Darkness can be used positivly just as Light can be used negativly. But one thing can somtimes be agreed on... In many cases, Light in any amount is harmless, unlight Darkness which can be dangerous in the smallest amount. That's only said because of Darkness sometimes having a ink-staining effect.

Darin Rosewood Under my system, Light is creative energy, and Darkness is the energy of absence, destruction and negation. Doesn't mean it's evil, just opposite Light. Light could be evil, as well. Darkness is nothing more than the absence of light. How is that a bad thing? How can it be the absence of light when it was around long before light? The way you put it makes it sound like darkness is lesser then light when darkness is just as equal to it.
