Welcome to O'Reely's Restaurant and Bar, owned and operated by Adam O'Reely and his lovely lamp assistant, Ava. At O'Reely's patrons are encouraged to mingle with others and be comfortable. Oh, there's also food. And alcohol. Lots of alcohol. Have a beer or two.

The sole waitress of the moment will soon be lovely lovely Ava, who should also do some singing and small-time cooking. Most of the cooking and big business is done by Adam. We have a good menu, and the booze is good too. Did I mention we have booze?

So sit back and enjoy yourself at O'Reely's. It's O'Reely awesome! (insert crappy slogan here)

She reached the trees and peered out into the rain, only to discover that O'Reely's was only a few shops down from the library.
So Jasper, clinging to Kiran, ricocheted from the trees into the doorway of the bar, realizing that the doors swung outward only after impact. Thank goodness she had figured as much, and turned her back to the doors. She didn't want to have hit them with her elbow sticking out as it was.
Hunching her shoulders, she opened the door and went inside. "You okay there, Kiran?"
He had still gotten damp despite the precaution, and flapped his wings roughly like a dog shaking water off. Looking highly ruffled, he drew his wings around his body again.

Jasper took her attention from her lamp-to-be to the surrounding environment. It was a nice looking place, clean and tidy. Thankfully, Jasper had enough money to buy something nice, she noticed, looking at the menu.

Jack had noticed the other person looking around and then running off out of the trees, so he followed her, except he took his time and didn't run. When he came to the door he noticed a small, barely noticeable, dent from where Jasper had hit it. "Nice." He chuckled as he opened the door himself and stepped into O'Reely's, Nora still somehow on top of his head, and still upside down.

The moment he stepped in he smelled various things, mostly beer and rum, but also some beef and chicken. He took a seat a a table nearby where the other person had sat down and took Nora off of his head so he could properly concentrate on the menu. Of course, immediately Nora found her way onto the ceiling and began to hover above his head that way. He sighed. "Nora, get down. I don't want you to fall and hurt yourself."

Jasper heard the other person speaking and glanced over. They appeared to have a lightbulb too, and a very odd one at that. It was hanging upside down from the ceiling, and the man was attempting to coax it down. She giggled and set Kiran on the table, where he flapped his wings again. She'd noticed he did that a lot. Maybe he'd be able to fly soon.

"Let's go meet someone new," she murmured to her companion, scooping him up and wandering over to the man.

"Hey. Having bulb problems?"

Jack nodded. "I swear there's something wrong with her. First, she slept all day long. I even had her sitting in the middle of the sunlight with loud music blasting at her. No response. Then, I find out she likes to be upside down, and either on my head when we're outside, or on the ceiling inside. It's driving me nuts." He said to the new person. "So, what's your name?" He asked as he jumped up and tried to pull Nora down that way.

Jasper smiled. "I'm Jasper, and this is Kiran. He slept all day too." She held up Kiran, who actually showed the first signs of wanting to fly, flapping his wings wildly and making funny little hops in her palm. She bit her lip and grabbed his body with her other hand, making his wings wave all the more agitatedly. "And you are?"

"I'm Jack." He grunted as he jumped up for the fourth time and actually managed to get Nora down. "Nora, you really need to stop doing that. Even if you do turn out to be a ceiling lamp or something you can't hang onto the ceiling right now for a long enough period of time."

Nora made that embarrassed glow again, then jumped onto Jack's head, and from there onto Jasper's head. She then promptly turned upside down again. Jack laughed as he said "And I'm sure you've noticed by now that that is Nora."

Jasper froze, scared that she would somehow dislodge Nora from her perch. Kiran seemed absolutely outraged at this intrusion on his friend. Wiggling out of her fingers and flapping his wings wildly, he hopped up her arm, avoiding her careful swipe to recapture him, and stopped on her shoulder.

"Kiran, stop it!" He ignored her and continued waving his wings; the breeze made her hair get up in her face. Looking at Jack, she smiled apologetically.

"I'm sorry, he's usually pretty shy."

Jack laughed a bit. "No, it's no problem." He said as he took Nora and placed her on the table, upside down since she was so obssessed with being upside down. "Nora's just a little adventerous." He sighed and sat back down, keeping a careful eye on Nora. She really was beginning to become a bit of a hassle((sp?)) to look after.

Nora meanwhile had become occupied with the candle in the center of the table. She hopped cautiously towards it and gazed at it's flame. Not only was it warm, but it gave off light. It wasn't like she got a buzz off of it, on the contrary, she was firmly against that sort of thing, but felt good. She felt as if she could stare at the flame all night and not get tired of it.

Jasper reached up and set Kiran on the table before sitting down. "Mind if I eat with you?"

Kiran hopped to the center, the breeze from his wings making the flame of the candle dance wildly. He halted an inch or so away from Nora, standing upright for the first time Jasper had seen. His wings had grown a bit, she noticed.

"No, not at all." Jack replied, still keeping an eye on Nora as he read through the menu. The wing-like designs on her were getting bigger, and for some reason they stuck out from the rest of the glass on the bulb. Maybe that was how she kept getting onto the ceiling, maybe not.

In any case, he thought the Sixteen Ounce Sirloin with a Coke would be good. He closed his menu and continued staring at Nora, even as he talked to Jasper. "So, what are you getting?"

"Hot chocolate and grilled fish sounds wonderful. Not together," she added, glancing up from the menu, "But something to ward off the cold and wet, y'know?" Setting the menu aside, she glanced at Nora. "Your little lamp-to-be seems to like high places."
