 Finally reaching the lake, Zalifur had been stopped too many times by other soquili. He was too tired to do anything. Slowly, he turned in a circle and then curled up by a nearby rock. The lapping of the waves along the bank of the lake soothed him into a slight slumber. This place was odd... but he thought that he might like it here. But then again, he never stayed in one place for very long.
But this could be the place that interested him the most. Who knew what Zalifur was thinking.

Nitika stepped lightly letting her mane and tail sway with her in teals and purples. Her eyes felt heavy as did her wings. With winter coming she'd almost feel it was time to hibernate like most creatures. But we all know that's just a silly misconception. What Soquili hibernates in a deep sleep?
Musing she continued onward till she reached the lake containg a shoreside Soquili in deep sleep. She blinked once then twice and walked slowly toward him.
"Hello?" she annonced with a tilt of her head. Could he possibly be a hibernating Soquili for winter?

Snorting as a rather large fly landed on his muzzle, Zalifur heard another soquili nearby. Man... There was no end to the stream of soquili in this area. He would have to find a new place where he could rest in peace if there was such a place, probably only in his dreams though...
Hearing the voice, Zalifur sometimes wondered if these soquili were concerned for their safety. It wasn't safe to just randomly walk up to something that you couldn't even identify and say hello. He shrugged to himself and looked up at the mare. "Hello." Behind his ink black hair, two crystal-like eyes stared back at Nitika.

Her eyes glazed over in wonder rested upon his wondering if he was indeed hibernating like the other seasonal mammels right now. She yawned herself with a flick of her ears letting her mane settle a bit off balanced then the rest.
"Its silly of me to ask but are you preparing for the weather like most of the mammels? Basically put are you or will you hibernate?" she wondered flicking her tail back and forth with her curiousity. So many others she met recently yet this one came off as lethargic and listless.
Perhaps he was preparing for the wintery months.

More questions! What do these soquili want from him? All he wanted was to sleep. Maybe someday he would find a place where he could sleep as long as he wanted. He felt like stretching his legs and getting some blood circulation going now... which was very rare. The stallion stood up and looked down at the mare. He was unusually tall for a stallion. "No, but that sounds like a good idea." He wished he could hibernate, that would be amazing. Being asleep for three plus months. That would be the life...

Nitika was entranced that someone understood her queries. She smiled yet kept her distance still watching him. "Ah ha that means you are related to bears, rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, beavers, and... skunks."
She winced looking at him wondering if he could be a skunk. Skunks weren't too friendly yet they did keep their distance.
"Well then if you're hibernating you're right on time. See there's snow on the way.. though i think you should find a cave or something. I hear when the snow comes here its not a small amount."
