So, the answer to this is probably glaringly obvious, buuuuut, does anyone know how to get clay? sweatdrop
I hope this topic doesn't violate the rules or anything. :/

Nah, you're allowed to ask questions.
You get Clay by digging with your hoe in the Mine, just go down one level since the entrance floor will give you Pontata Roots. May take a few swings, too.

Yes. People come back if you start to befriend the other villagers, and do some other things, i think.
