A new age has come to Konoha- to the world. Heros of the past have long since gone, and new ones have stepped forward in their footsteps. New faces are seen, new unique things shown, and new friendships made...
It's almost as if the world has started over.
It's been many years since the passing of Naruto and friends- the passing of everyone from his time of struggle and strength, victory and defeat. New teachers are in the academy's of the Hidden Villages, and new Kage's making decisions to benefit their homelands. New students to learn about the ways of the ninja, and new organizations to destroy them.
Which are you?
Are you a teacher, to bring hope and teach the children of today to be strong?
Are you a Kage, leading your country to become great, and homely for its citizens?
Are you a student, following a dream through that rough road of life?
Or, are you a rebel, seeking nothing to destroy hopes and dreams, and take power for yourself?

Anyways, this is a roleplay for everyone out there who has come up with their own character to roleplay with in the Narutoverse. There will be a few strict rules you MUST follow in order to be in it, but, otherwise, you're about as free to do whatever within it, as a leaf is free to blow in the wind.

.Rules.First off, I would like you all to know that you must PM everything to ME. That means character applications, questions, and asking permission about things. I dont want to see anything like: Quote: ((Can I join? Here's my profile.... . Next, I want Literate Roleplayers. That includes proper paragraphs (unless you're having a bad day, which is understandable), and nothing like: Quote: *wanders in* this place is weird *sits and waits for someone to talk to him* Literate roleplaying includes the usage of "" for speech, and well-described actions in between. Here are a few more things I would like you to follow for this roleplay. ALL RULES ARE MANDATORY TO FOLLOW FOR THIS ROLEPLAY!! 1. No God-moding. If someone punches you, it is your choice to block/dodge it, but we are not gods. If you get hurt, you get hurt. No magical instant healing. No 'Oh, i'm invincible, so that didnt hurt me'. 2. Do NOT control other peoples characters. I know we all hate it, so dont do it. 3. You are allowed to play up to TWO characters, as long as you are going to play as them frequently. 4. Please notify us when you are going to leave the roleplay, or are going to be gone for an extended period of time! We dont like seeing people disappear off the face of the planet! 5. When sending me your request to join, include your character application all filled out, and have the title of the PM as 'LSO'. .Character Creation.Hokay. So, I know you all have probably got your information down for your characters, already. A whole long history, detaled appearance, whatever. The application I would like you to fill out will only ask for some of the basic stuff, like a clan-name, the characters, name, ect. Hopefully, It wont be too time-consuming. Here is the list of characters, and possible slots avalable for play. Notify me if you want to take any of these special slots, or create any more (example: creating a new organization like the Akatsuki)
The special slots include any Kage, or ANBU.
NOTE: if a Gennin, you may also be a Transfer student from another village to any other village to sort-of... 'keep the peace', as it were. Just remember that the village you came from pays for your room wherever you wind up in, and you will be joining the other Gennin in the lessons and missions they are in.
(Example: if you're transferring to Konoha, you join one of the 3 man teams)

.Character Profiles.This is where I will post all of your profiles, so you can read up on all the other characters, if wanted. Disturbing Tale Teller Name: Ran Kaguya Clan: Kaguya Clan Description: This clan has the ability to mold their bones into whatever form they want, and are able to regenerate them as well. They can also make them as hard or soft as they want, even as hard as steel. They were a clan concidered wiped out many years before, with one sole survivor that wound up apart of Orochimaru's Hidden Village of Sound. Age: 14 Gender: Female Village: Kirigakure Rank: Gennin Appearance: Dark purple hair(dyed), pale skin, blue eyes. Thin in build, stands around 5'4". Usually wears a black vest that zips up in the front-middle. Light gray plaid arm-warmers that come up to a little past her elbows. Flowy dark grey pants. Black sandals and light gray plaid legwarmers. She wears her headband at an angle, half of her bangs under the headband, covering her left eye, the other half pulled over the headband. Personality: Ran tends to keep to herself. When she is around people, she is usually silent, unless talked to. Alone, Ran is secluded in her own thoughts. Other: Ran's mother was the child of a couple that had rebelled against the Kaguya clan, but had gotten killed off in the battle the rest of the clan had. Unbeknowenst to many, she was the sister of the other survivor, Kimimaru. Also hidden from the world had been Ran's father, who met her mother while looking for the remainder of their clan, having been sent away on a mission before everyone was killed. Their only child was Ran, and they were later killed in another battle, like their parents had been. Also, Ran has a similar illness to that of her brother, Kimimaru, but isnt as bad. When she uses too much chakra, she becomes very weak, but only has to stay in bed for, at most, a day to recover. She coughs constantly, though. List of Jutsu's: (Note, many of these Jutsu are the same as that of Kimimaru)Finger Bullet-An ability where Ran can fire the bones in her finger tips like bullets at the opponent at high speeds. Requires very little chakra.Bone Senbon-An ability Ran discovered while training. With this ability, she is able to meld her bones into senbon needles, and use them in battle. Requires very little chakra.Dance of the Camellia- An ability where Ran forms a bone like a sword and thrusts it into the enemy. Requires little Chakra.Dance of the Clematis- An ability where Ran can focus her Chakra and tear her own spine out, quickly regrowing it, while hardening the other. It can then be used as a whip, or a tail, that wraps around opponents to kill, and then pierce through their body. Requires a medium-amount of Chakra.Dance of PinesAn ability where Ran can unleash bone spikes all over her body that can stab through almost anything. She is also able to change their direction and size by will, and where they come out on her body. Requires a medium-amount of Chakra.Dance of the seedling Ferns-With this ability, Ran forms bones into spikes and bursts them out of her body, making sure to impale her enemy with quick ease. She is also able to meld in with the bones, and travel along them to come out somewhere else where her bones are, to create a suprise attack.
Requires a large amount of Chakra.Dance of the Porcupine-An ability developed off of Ran's 'Bone Senbon'. After creating senbon from the bones all across her body, she spins at a high speed, sending the senbon off in different directions, or in the direction of the opponent. Requires little, to medium-amount of Chakra.

Brown hair flopped into soft golden-brown eyes as the Inuzuka girl ran down the street, chasing after her dog. The brown and white puppy looked back and barked at the girl. Mai-Lin sighed but kept running. A small tan hand reached up to brush her brown hair out of her eyes. "Himi! Watch - Sorry sir! Himi wasn't looking where she was going." The girl stopped and picked up her dog, bowing as she did so. The dog barked as the 14-year-old hugged Himi to her.
"It's ok Mai-Lin. Just tell Himi to watch where she's going next time." Once again brown hair flopped into the girl's eyes as she nodded. The man laughed and walked off.
Mai-Lin held the dog out. "Himi! You could have gotten me into trouble. Now come on. We have to go train. We're not taking a break again until lunch." The puppy whined but she took no notice as she walked back the way she came.
A red chinese-styled shirt covered her top while skintight black pants hid her legs. The headband was tied around her left leg to show she was a gennin of the village hidden in the leaf.

Ran Kaguya hated traveling. But what had she been doing for the past day? Traveling to Konohagakure... Why? The reason behind the answer didnt exactly please her.
To keep the ties between the alliance of Konohagakure and Kirigakure... The old man's voice droned on in her head, and she lifted a pale hand to rub at one of her eyes as she followed the guide to where she was supposed to be staying while in Konoha. But I dont want to train here with these freaks... She thought, adjusting her Hidden Mist headband, slightly.
Ran was the sole survivor of the Kaguya clan. Well, her parents were, and then they had met up and had her, after escaping her clans' fate, and leaving her brother behind... Her brother, Kimimaru, had been one of the only ones actually known by people, and had been considered the sole survivor. He'd manage to survive the massacre that killed off the rest of her clan.
Shows how people think, sometimes... Ran thought as she looked around at the people of Konoha. Her eyes caught on a girl carrying a dog. Thinking for a moment, she wondered if the girl was apart of Konoha's Inuzuka clan, as she was wearing a shinobi headband around one of her legs. Giving a slight cough, she moved on.
Continuing following her guide, Ran blocked out the drone of his voice as he told her about Konoha's history. Like she hadnt read about it on the trip there. She caught him saying that they usually had lovely weather... Its damn too hot. she thought, already having to roll down her arm and leg warmers a bit to keep cool. She missed the cold breeze of Kirigakure... even though she knew she wasnt wanted there, the scenery still had been nice....
Coming to a halt in front of some apartment-style building, they entered and quickly walked to a room that would become her new home. "And if you have any questions, feel free to ask the attendant, or your new Sensei. You wont have to pay any rent, seeing how Kirigakure is paying for everything, so you dont have to worry about it. I have to go, so... welcome to our village!" Ran watched the man wave and head off as she stood in front of her door, her key in hand.
Opening the door, she slipped in and closed it behind her. Walking straight to the kitchen, she opened the freezer and stuck her head in a bit, sighing. I dont know how they expect me to stand this... she thought, coughing a bit.

Himi barked and Mai-lin rolled her eyes. "Fine! we can go home! God you're so pushy sometimes." The girl huffed and turned away from the path she had been about to go down and moved onto a less worn path. "Don't worry I'm taking the sortcut. Himi, you eat almost as much as Saso does. And you're so much smaller then him!"
As the two got closer to Mai-lin's home they noticed a guide come out of the building. "Looks like we have a new person staying here. Wonder how long they'll last." Mai-Lin hadn't been able to live at the Inuzuka clan's grounds since her brother had been killed, his smell as everywhere and it had been slowly driving her crazy. The Hokage had moved her to the building saying she could live her until her anger had been quelled.
Mai-lin knew her anger wouldn't be gone until she had taken out her revenge on the monster's that had killed her brother! The monsters from the Mist village. He had been there on peaceful trems and he had been killed because he was from the Leaf village.
Himi yipped at the tighting grip, causing Mai-lin to look down and see what she was doing. "I'm sorry, Himi-chan. I was just thinking about Li-wu."(Can anyone tell I've goten onto a chinese kick?) As she said this she pushed the door open and walked in. she walked past the room next to her's and blinked as she saw a name, Kaguya. Mai-lin sighed and put in her key. "we have a new roomie next door." She muttered to the dog.

Ran broke out into a bit of a coughing fit as she pulled her head out of the freezer, then looked around the kitchen a bit more. There were some instant meals up in the cupboards, and some money with a list of places to buy groceries at.
The small apartment was made up of three rooms... a bedroom/entrance room, a small bathroom with a shower, and the kitchen. A small patio led out so she had a not-so pretty view of some shops nearby.
Ran unshouldered the bag she had been carrying and dropped it on the small bed that had been put there for her use. Stretching a bit, she decided to go buy groceries with the money left for her use, seeing how she was hungry, and didnt really like instant-meals.
Making sure everything was locked up, Ran left her apartment and closed the door behind her before locking that as well. Coughing slightly once more, she began looking at the addresses of the grocery places as she headed out of the building.

Mai-lin opened her fridge and screamed. "We're out of food!" She slamed the fridge closed and sighed. "I'll be back, Himi-chan. I have to go get food for myself. Sometimes I wish I could eat your food." She muttered the last part as she watched her puppy eating out of her dog bowl. The teen walked over to the door and opened it. "Thanks fr saying bye, Himi-chan! I love you too." She pouted as she closed the door. She didn't have any reason to lock it seening as how Himi could keep herself safe.
Mai-lin walked back outside, checking her pouch to make sure she had money when she was sure she walked to the closest store. When she got there she heard people whispering. 'Have you seen that new girl?' 'I hear she's from Mist.' Upon hearing those words Mai-lin froze. The mist? The person she was sharing a building with was from the Mist?! her eyes grew hard and she could feel the anger boiling up inside of her. "Get the food and go back home, Mai-lin. You need to eat before you can do anything." She whispered to herself. SHe walked into the store and started to look for food.

Ran had her back to Mai-lin as she examined a head of lettuce. The food here did look like it was of better quality, but she'd gotten used to the dry fruits and vegitables provided back in Kirigakure. Putting one head of lettuce in her basket, she grabbed a few more random vegitables and headed towards the household items to look for fans.
Ran coughed a bit and winced at the price of some of the fans this particular store had. She'd need to find something cheaper if she was going to buy alot for her apartment, since it had no air-conditioning. It's that girl from before... She glanced over at Mai-lin as she headed to the counter to pay for the food she got.

Mai-lin bit her lip as she looked at the fruits. "Starwberries of blueberries?" She muttered to herself before picking a bunch of each. "There we go!" She laughed as she ran to another counter witha shorter line the Ran's. When she was done paying and had bagged her food she headed out of the store, walking slowly as she dug into the bag, loking for the pocky she had gotten.

"you dropped something." Ran held out the box of pocky to Mai-lin, one hand shoved in her pocket that had her bags on it. She looked at the girl and looked slightly annoyed before giving a slight cough to the side. Why was she in such a hurry, anyways? she wondered, examining the girl in front of her.

"Hmm. Oh! Thanks." Mai-lin muttered, opening the box and taking to stick of pocky out. She looked up and caught sight of the girl's headband. Her eyes narrowed. "You're the girl I'm rooming with?" She growled. "God! Hokage-sama should know not to put a mist nin in my building!" She muttered, breaking the pocky and sighing. "Damnit!" She loked back at Ran. "So Teme, did you happen to know a Konoha nin Named Li-wu, did you?"
((I'm just using Teme until I can find the chinese word for b*****d.))
