So, how's everybody reading through the series? I wait for the English translations so I've just read volume 5 3nodding So far, 5 has been the best book in my opinion.

Actually, I've been keeping up with scanlations, so I'm somewhere around Vol. 9. Man, are you guys gonna love Vol. 6... 3nodding It is THE best Vol. with action. Even though I already read a translation, I'm anxiously waiting fo it to come out in stores [which is out this Sunday, June 28.] Other release dates:

Negima Vol. 7: September 27, 2005
Negima Vol. 8: December 27, 2005

Oh, and the producers of the anime totally ruined it. It is only worth watching if you want to see how they slaughtered the series. stare

Cool, you are reading the English version of Negima then. I have read other feedback such as this guy in New Zeland that is about to get volume 10 as soon as it releases. I don't mean to spoil it for all loyal fans of Negima but i hear Sayo first appears in volume 9 as well.

Yeah and its really sucks to know the fact that there is 3 months in beteween the release of each Negima manga. I'm still here patiently waiting for tuesday to already come by. confused

Although, i still have no idea how long the manga series is. Anime Gamers in West Loas Angeles has volumes 1-10 in Japanese only so there is a chance that Negima ends at 10. I'm not 100% sure of this one.

As for the Anime, yes, i keep hearing fans saying they hate the way it was made. The animation is choppy and low quality and it doesn't resemble that of what you see in the manga version.

The same thing was said about the Love Hina Anime. It was horrible and some people preferred the manga version. I do to after seeing Love Hina Again for the first time a while ago. Kanako Urashima is at her best in the Manga. And i think 3 episodes for that OAV was not enough. They should have extended it to 5 episodes at least.

Nevertheless, i think some of us will regret what we say about the anime series when it becomes a domestic release. I just ordered volume 1 of the import version which i might be getting next week in the mail. I'll see what the real deal is. For now sit tight and wait. razz

Bbuutt, when I get some more monies I feel that I shall be ordering however many volumes are out at that time. Which... Shall be soon if my exam bonus hurrys up into my bank account. ninja
