Inyoni yawned broedly as he lurked through the savana grass, his odd colours hidden well by the cover of nightfall, where barely any creature could see him anyway. He was getting hungry again, and hunting on his own was starting to get trickier.
The pray in these parts seemed to be wiser to his moves, likely by being under constant attack by other dogs, hyena and lions.

Still, he sniffed out a trail, hoping he could maybe come across a weaker animal to feast apon till he can think of a better strategy on his own.

Koin stepped through the grasses. He shook some dust from his white and red fur. His eyes instantly spotted a blue and white dog.

His curiousness led him off of the path of the wind and he walked towards the other male quietly. He didn't say anything.

"Hello," He called in a calm voice. He approched the stranger without hesitation, as he's walked up to many stranger's before. Though, he was still weary of action and on his gaurd, like a wanderer should be.

His ears perked up as he heard the other approach, and turned his head to look at him.

Another male, and one with fur as white as his own, only with dark red markings, like blood. He didn't smell of blood though, so he was likely born with those colours.

Inyoni gave a smile. For a wanderer, he didn't seem to stick to those rules. He didn't seem the least bit wary of the other, he just had a feeling that this one would be alright to talk to.

"Hello to you, as well." He replied, his tail wagging slightly and causing a minature dust ground against the floor.

Koin completly droppped his guard to the other male. It had been a while since he had talked to a wild dog outside of his family.

"What brings you out this far?" Koin asked calmly. Some probably thought it odd for a wild dog to be so calm towards strangers, but he saw no use in being angry.

"It's a long story... and you likely wont believe me." He laughed awkwardly. "I'm here searching for something i've never seen in my life." He said simply. "If you promise not to laugh or walk away, i'll explain it to you."

Koin chucled lightly, but not because something was funny. He always chuckled, and it was something he'd always done. "I won't laugh," he said. "So, Tell you're story," Koin sat down in he spot, waiting for this story to be told.

"Well.. it all started when I was a youth. The pack I was in believed in the spirits talking to us in our sleep, which is what causes dreams. They give us visual aids to help us decide our life. When a dog of our pack comes of age, we must state our dreams of the last week, before the elders interpret our dream to tell us what our paths in life shall be." He told him, sitting down as well. "My dreams were always the same, every day, it had been that way for many seasons." He sighed softly. "I dreamt i was on a plain, a bright white plain, as if i was standing on top of the clouds themselves. The skies above were a grey, like the skys that bring rain. But instead of rain, small white feathers floated down from the heavens, adding to the white of the floor. They were cold to touch, and would dissapear instantly on ones paw. It was a very lonely place, there was no one around but me."

Sighing again he continued. "But.. I think there is another.. for there are paw prints in the snow, canine prints, they circled around me and went behind my own. But as i turn to look, I wake up before I can catch a glimpse of the other." He grew quiet, looking at the floor. "The dreamtellers said that there I must seek my White Rain for answers. But, many have told me that there is no such thing, and see me as crazy for continuing my search."

Koin listened to the whole story before speaking. "Hmm... That sounds interesting," Koin said. "The only place I can imagine this cold 'White Rain' is somewhere where is not so warm," Koin said, trying his best to offer services to the blue Wild Dog.

Koin honestly didn't know how to help the wold dog. He wished he could help more.

"Where it's not so warm..?" He asked, trying to think. "That'd be down south, wouldn't it? It get's cooler i've heard, from the birds, that come from there..." he said, trying to think. "Thank you, for telling me that.. maybe now I can ask that instead of where I can find white rain... I might get further down that path..."

Koin nodded. "Well, I hope that little bit of information helps a bit," Koin said. He paused for a second. "I wish you luck on your quest." He was sincere. "I'm sorry I could not have been of more help."

Inyoni grinned at him. "My friend, you have likely helped much more than anyone i've met combined. I only hope that maybe, at the very least, find a way to confirm it dosn't exist. But till then, i'll keep searching. Even if it takes me to the Furless monkies." And by that, he meant the humans in town.

"Well, I'm glad I could help you that much," Koin chuckled. He stood again. "Oh yes, what's you're name. Perhaps we'll meet again while traveling...." Koin had a habit of asking other's for their name. A habit picked up by a certain Klipspringer, but he didn't mind.

"My name is Inyoni. Though some people call me "Umoyana" or "Inyoni'ncane". What is your name?" He asked, tilting his head to the side as he stood up again.

"My names Koin," The white and blood colored dog smiled lightly. "Just Koin." The wind blew lightly, as if to tell him something. "Well, The wind is calling me again. We'll meet again someday," Koin said as he turned back onto the wind's path.

Inyoni bowed his head to him as he turned and left, finding it curious to see. Two rogues who met by following thier own ways, one lead by their dreams, the other lead by the wind. There were so many rogues in this part, not that he minded. Though he had been lucky to find so many friendly ones.

Sticking his snout back to the dusty earth he returned to looking for something to eat. Wondering what the next Dog he might meet would be like.
