As I was falling asleep lastnight, I was thinking about Twilight and New Moon becoming a movie, and a thought struck me.
What if it was an animated [with manga] movie?
Then there wouldn't be a problem with any of the vampires being un-perfect, the only fear would be how the artist protrays the characters.

But I think some readers prefer the original style because it's more logical than it would be in an anime. yup you're probably right I'd actually like it more if they waited until the series was over before they put it on the big screen then I wouldn't mind cuase the original characters would already be in my mind and the movies wouldn't affect any books in the series being published afterwards...

Yup, and another qualm I have with it being an anime, manga, or even movie is that we can all imagine the characters in our own way, like Edward being 'perfect' and all. If we watch it on a movie, however, we may lose interest in him/any other character just cause they look different than what we originally percieved them as.

I think it'd be cool to be an anime, because they might actually get everybody's looks right.
In real life, they could choose someone totally wrong to play a part, and then my heart would break.
But, honestly, I hope Twilight NEVER becomes anything more than a book. If they mess it up, I'd die.
If it's just a book, I can imagine everybody how I want. You can't do that with movies.
And besides, then everybody will go see the movie, instead of actually reading the book.

Angel - Fallen I think it'd be cool to be an anime, because they might actually get everybody's looks right. Ooi. I really, really don't think that would work. I mean, I love anime and manga, but I just can't imagine Twilight being animated without it turning out really crappy. =(

I'd absolutely love that; probably just because I'm a sap when it comes to romance manga.
Twilight portrays another view to vampires and I'd adore an animated manga showing that<3
But, then again, it would kind of ruin the ways of the reader imagining perfection his or herself.

Yet... I'd prefer if the movie was made, then the anime.. or manga ^^
Not gonna happen anyway >.> But I just love how the characters were portraid on the japanese versions of the book... heart

i think that it would be nice to have twilight as a movie to see how it would turn out and how other people would visualize it but ot be honest, twilight isnt hte kind of book that is really movie/anime material. sure it's the lovey-dovey fluff we all love. teenage-love-angst and all that but it's a BOOK and that's all it's meant to be the way Stephenie wrote it. bella's narraration in the book is what makes Twilight what it is and if we try to make it into anything other than a book it's gonna screw it up.

That sounds like a really cool idea!
Some of my friends and I that are obsessed with the books have begun trying to draw it out in manga form. It's a lot of fun but it's hard getting the vamps to be perfect. And we don't really know how to draw Bella.
I was given the task of drawing Edward and Bella...it's not going good so far. My Edward isn't perfect... sweatdrop
But I hope that it's just a movie. They should come out with all five books before going on to movies and stuff...although they didn't do that with Harry Potter...

I thinh she's meaning make the movie anime ( not a series) just drawn instead of with actuall actors......and get kohta hirano to animate it...hehe fot hose of you who don't know who he is, he is the cretor of hellsing(with alucard and integra)
